Well we are just about to check out and I have to say a massive thank you to all the staff who have been so attentive to us during our very “mini” holiday for our daughter’s first birthday. We chose this hotel because of its ground floor terrace room which would enable us to have our daughter sleeping in the room with us sitting out on the terrace with the monitor. Last night we were able to order room service to the terrace so we had some dinner and drinks post-bedtime (a real treat) and this morning we were lucky enough to secure a late checkout so we could do a bit of sunbathing and swimming while she napped. I even managed to read a whole three chapters of my book, something I haven’t managed since she came along! Thank you to all the staff. We will be back.

Can only describe my experience as just magical. Stayed here with my friends over weekend as early birthday celebrations. Checked into room to find a delicious chocolate birthday cake and a stunning bunch of red roses. The warm welcome and personal touch provided by Ciaran and his staff is just so fabulous. They organised a complimentary taxi to our restaurant for our meal and the breakfast the next morning was very tasty. The pool is spotless and the sun loungers are so comfy, literally felt like being tucked into bed. This is not my first time staying at this hotel and each stay just gets better. Looking forward to our next stay in June. Thanks again to all the team at this wonderful hotel. Best regards Martina chocolate.

Flanked by palm trees and set in a striking, low-rise modern building, this elegant hotel is 15 km from Bahrain International Airport, and 11 km from both the Bahrain Mall and the 15th-century Arad Fort. Cozy rooms feature minimalist decor, refined furnishings and sleek bathrooms with designer toiletries. All have free Wi-Fi and flat-screen TVs. Upgraded rooms add terraces with pool views. There's a genteel tearoom and patisserie, an English pub, and a chic fine-dining restaurant serving South European cuisine. Other amenities include an outdoor pool and a gym. Parking is available and an airport shuttle, buffet breakfast and afternoon tea are free.

They seem to have come a long way since the 90s. Sprucing up the space is exactly what has added value to The palace. Great job guys!

Quite and very relaxing hotel. Not so many options for breakfast though.

Perfect place to relax just relax. Staff is very friendly, the hotel has 2 restaurants. One is Masso by the famous chef Susy Masseti and the other one is The Orangery a beautiful tea room and Patisserie that will make you forget you are in Bahrain the garden is so pretty. The Palace also counts with a Gastro pub here you listen to the local bands play.

Very cosy boutique hotel with some of the best outlets in Bahrain. Rooms are quite nice after the most recent renovation. Staff are very friendly, welcoming, and helpful.

Visited the Polo Lounge, the food used to be good has gone down since my last visit…

A fabulous hotel! Rooms are spacious with very comfortable beds. Very clean and well decorated. It’s quite small — only 20 rooms. It has a nice bar and a swimming pool. The rooms over looking the street will be quite noisy because of the AC units, better to stay on the other side. Breakfast area is cool with an outside terrace, and the food was great. One problem is for smokers; it’s a NON-SMOKING HOTEL! In the same area you’ll find 2 amazing restaurants; Masso and Orangery, must try.

All three restaurants in this place are excellent. We love Orangery, Polo Gastropub and Masso. A bit pricey but that makes the crowd good too!

By far, these guys serve the best pies in the town. Very nice pub atmosphere.

The quantities were absurdly small. Quite a different experience from my previous visit.

It's my 1st stay in this hotel after 4 years. The rooms are tidy and the staffs are very cordial and friendly. Breakfast is fulfilling, though can't be called luxurious. Many small indian restaurants and other give loads of eating choices after a busy tiring day. One star less for the toilet sliding door that doesn't close! By design the counter staff said, which I doubt. I wouldn't prefer a dump with door open if my family is with me.

Has done great restaurants. Just been to Orangery and this place had a great ambience and good food. A bit on the expensive side though.

The hotel has some of the greatest restaurants and cafes within and it is right in the centre of the city. Don't miss it.
