This was the most beautiful place you could ever imagine! Friendly atmosphere and great food. It’s a place to go especially during these times where your worries and stress melt away. The condos were gorgeous, comfortable and very clean. Going to Cape Santa Maria Beach Resort is a must!

This place is magical! There is no other place like it on earth. We've traveled all over the Caribbean and no place has made us feel so welcome, peaceful, and happy as Long Island and Cape Santa Maria. The people of Long Island are so wonderful! Everyone is kind and friendly and family-oriented. After 5 visits, we still haven't met anyone on the island who has shown us anything but incredible kindness. The staff at Cape Santa Maria is amazing! They go out of their way to assist and accomodate every guest. On our first trip here, a private jet pilot accidentally took and loaded our luggage on their flight to Dallas, TX when it was supposed to go to Stella Maris. The Cape staff told us not to worry and took care of everything — the Cape staff and Joel and Anja from Stella Maris (who are also amazing! ) worked tirelessly to track down our luggage from the private pilot, then worked with Jet Aviation Nassau and the airlines to get our bags shipped back to us all the way here in Long Island for free within 1 day! No small feat! Joel flew our bags back from Nassau and the Cape transported them back from Stella Maris. All we had to do was lay on the beach and wait. They were amazing and cared for us so well. Our gratitude was immense!
We have stayed in the bungalows and villas and both are stunning, comfortable, incredibly clean and tidy, and have everything you might need. Best of all — every room here has a STUNNING oceanfront view! There's not a bad room here.

Every year I travel with the intent of finding the perfect beach, and I finally did at Cape Santa Maria Resort. I highly recommend this place because the beach is gorgeous, the place quiet, and the staff friendly yet professional.

Just came for dinner but next time will stay here. Gorgeous resort, no-joke one of THE sexiest beaches in the world. Proprietor Matt approached super friendly and welcoming. The food including lobster quesadillas and rack of lamb cooked to a perfect medium rare were awesome. You forget the rest of the world when you are here.

The most beautiful beach in the world. We came here with our 18 yr old and another family with teenagers after 3 days in Atlantis. My son loved Atlantis and all its many activities. I had picked to go to Cape Santa Maria for me as "down time". Surprisingly, he loved it as well! Different perks here. is the beach cove. Simply amazing. This small boutique hotel has something like 32 rooms max. The entire fabulous cove is ONLY for them. The beach had at most maybe 20 people on it at the most during "peak" time… usually only maybe 5. The sand was like talcum powder. The closest comparison to best beach we have seen was Grace Bay in Turks and Caicos. This beat it, hands down. The staff: the managers Matt and Darby were AMAZING. They went above and beyond to get us tours and keep our group of 8 entertained. Darby even drove us in her car to a nearby new restaurant. The only negative would be the other staff like bartenders… they were definitely on their own pace and didn't greet us upon walking up. Kind of ignored us until they were ready. But I think that was their culture. Be warned about the bugs! The Noseeums were everywhere. We got bit badly. Suggest that 2 weeks before you go, start taking garlic pills and B complex vitamins. Will help them not like you as much. Our cottage had louvered doors leading out to the lanai, so bugs bit us inside as well. If you can afford a villa, they were gorgeous big, and brand new… highly recommend instead of cottage. No bugs in them!

This place is more on the higher end for any rentals on Long Island. The Unit I was in was spacious, extremely comfortable and the beach is just a few footsteps away… breathtakingly beautiful! A must visit.

We have been here 3 times and can not wait to go again. Amazing Resort and amazing staff. Heaven on Earth.

Long Island was beautiful! The most perfect beach I've ever seen so far. A lot of activities to do like kayak, bike, fishing, snorkelling. I do wish there were more food items on the restaurant menu. Just got back and wish I never left!

Simply Perfect. Staff is superb, welcoming, and attentive. Food is always great, try the lobster bisque! Accommodations are 1st rate. The property is lovingly taken care of by the entire staff. The beach is spectacular, shallow enough for kids of all ages to frolic in the ocean, without a care. A hidden gem, for sure a must visit.

Bungalows set 10ft from a beautiful beach. Quiet, romantic escape. Rooms are clean. Food scrumptious. Dream escape!

This is an amazingly awesome resort! The people were incredibly warm. The place was first class. The sand so soft. I highly recommend Cape Santa Maria. One piece of advice — stay longer! LOVE Matt and Darby. Wonderful — we will be back.

5 Mo. Ago we stayed at Cape Santa Maria. It was a Fabulous 1 week long stay. The Villa was lovely and right on the beautiful white sandy beach. Lovely Aqua and blue waters. Gazebo, chairs, shower on side. Also umbrellas and chairs in sand. Place to sit in the sun or watch the sun set and the stars at night. So relaxing and quite. Injoying lovely weather as we walked along the boardwalk to the restrant serving 3 decisions meals a day, bar. Or could cook in in you're own Villa. The staff was VERY friendly and efficient. Went out of there way to make our stay special. My son and daughter in law took her Mother and I there for our 80th Birthdays. What a great gift. Many prayers for all there and there safety with that terrible hurricane heading your way.

We stayed here a couple of years ago, and I still can't stop thinking about how beautifully, wonderful it was. It's a bit of a challenge getting there from CT, but it's doable if you take some time to coordinate your flight so you can arrive in one day. We WILL be back!

An Amazingly Beautiful Beach and Wonderful Resort — a MUST stop and stay location in the Bahama! Cape Santa Maria resort is picture card beautiful and the staff were excellent! The resort is exceptionally boat/cruiser friendly and the food and refreshments are well worth the visit.
