Just want to say and exprees thanksto the management and staff, of Pineapple Fields Resort for there wonderful customer service. Listen there rooms are huge, very clean and family oriented. My stay was very enjoyable, relaxing with lots of fun. For anyone traveling to Governor's Harbor please check pineapple fields trust me you won't be disappointed.

Tranquil; serene breath taking ocean view. Room was comfortable spacious. A relaxing wonderful visit. Pleasant front office staff.
Recommend a ramp for ease of rolling luggage and physically challenged persons.

Very good room… large, well equipped. You can buy groceries and have breakfast and dinner there if you do not want to go out. Very good facilities. Amazing beach with good snorkeling opportunities! P. S. : The closest restaurant “Tippy’s” is not really recommended! There are a lot of better restaurants in Governors Harbour.

I got the chance to stay at Pineapple Fields Resort at the beginning on May and it will definitely not be my last stay there. We stayed in a one bedroom bungalow overlooking the exotic plant life on the beautiful property. Our room was literally 20 steps from the perfect size pool and about 30 yards from Tippy's (incredible beach restaurant). There are four small steps behind Tippy's that lead you to the beautiful sands and crystal clear waters of Eleuthera. I cannot tell you how many times we ate at Tippy's but I am going to go with somewhere near 10 times in 7 days. The food is incredible and the drinks are just the same! We would spend all day at the beach, have lunch at Tippy's and I would head back to the freshly cleaned room and take my afternoon nap :) The room was equipped with everything you needed to cook and store food. We always had clean towels and the cleaners were so delightful. Each room also had beach chairs for us to take down with us. Pineapple Fields is extremely well managed and taken care of from the grounds to the guests. I appreciate the hospitality we were shown at the Resort and I will FOR SURE be back. We are currently looking to book our Christmas vacation there.

Nice reception. Will be happy to help you plan your activity on the island. We had an apartment upstairs. Nicely decorated, everything clean, well-stocked kitchen. You have a view of the sea, the beach is separated from the property by a little busy road. Meals are not offered. Either you cook yourself or go to one of the many restaurants in the area. In this context, the tipy's, New Sunset Inn and Buccaneer Club are mentioned. Conclusion: A completely successful concept. The perfect crossroads between hotel and apartment. We'll be back.

This is a beautiful place to stay! Enjoyed delicious and fun meals at Tippy's with an entertaining band one night. Walks on the beach are spectacular. The rooms were super clean and kitchen is fully equipped with everything one needs including a blender. The pool area is lovely, peaceful and serene. I highly recommend Pineapple Fields.

Nice clean condos, individually owned so they all are somewhat different. We loved the grounds and the pool, but disappointed that they are not very close to the beach, which is across the street. No view of the water.

Most people would love to have an ocean view, and stay close to the beach. The Pineapple Fields is a set of 8 buildings. Most of them have no view of the ocean at all, as there are large palm and other trees. See pictures. Balcony view is only of palm trees — no ocean view. So that is disappointing. It did not feel like a resort in Bahamas. The beach view photo given on website is the beach, not a real picture of or from the resort. Secondly, there is a 5 min walk to the beach, so if you want to enjoy the beach, you have to carry your beach chairs and items back and forth. There are no rentals on the beach, so it becomes a big hassle to carry food, towels, chairs, or clean up after. Restaurant was across the road. So it is also a walk across the road. No breakfast options. There is no private beach, or any beach access directly from the property. You have to walk across a road to the restaurant, and then to the beach. Each room in the property is owned by separate people (on timeshare / ownership). So beware of reviews by people who stay there and may also be owners. For spending that kind of money ($250 or more per night), it is a LOT MORE worth taking a cottage ON THE BEACH. We used airbnb and stayed AT another place at the beach for 5 days and it was the best vacation. We got everything, including a full view and full access to the ocean. We have been going to Pineapple Fields for 8 years. The staff has always been helpful, friendly and a absolute pleasure to deal with. Our room has everything we could possibly need just like being home. Tippy's across the street has fabulous food and great service. We can't say enough about Pineapple Fields looking forward to our return trip.

Loved the clean large rooms, and the magnificence of the ocean and beach just across the road. Very clean great decor.

Local response: "This hotel is very private and secluded almost hidden behind an array of beautiful garden vies of native plants and vegetation and depending on what cottage you are staying in you would be able to enjoy panoramic ocean views… The property is clean and easy to navigate with close parking to your room… needless to mention or comment on the interior and decor of the property island style theme is eclectic and inviting you would definitely appreciate your stay here… one of my favorite places to stay on Eleuthera outside of my home… 10/10

Great, clean condos seconds from the beach and Tippy's. Beautiful garden pool for when you are tired of the salt water. The staff was very friendly and accommodating as well.

Have been here with my family on multiple occasions. It's always been a pleasure. It's quite, comfy, and right across the street from good food! Highly recommend, and worth every cent.

Nice condos, some with a view. Tippys is absolutely great, if pricy, across the street. Don't miss fresh fruit and pastries from the bakery down the road.

It's the best place on Earth! We love the Island and all it people but as Pineapple Field puts our stay over the top!

Would love to go back in the future. Dave (the owner) and all his staff were extremely friendly and helpful during our stay. Our rooms were great since they all came with a living room and full kitchen — they even have all the kitchen utensils / gadgets you would need, so we were able to prepare full meals some nights. Otherwise we found ourselves at Tippys, just across the street. The food was awesome and you can't beat the white sand beaches and clear blue water just out the backdoor from Tippys.

Very relaxing place, just a couple of minutes from one of the best beaches on Eleuthera; apartments are nice, but just a few have views on the ocean. The restaurant across the road, Tippy's, is absolutely excellent. Need to hire a car if you plan to say here.

This Place is a hidden paradise in paradise!

We had a fantastic stay here in early November 2015. This is the perfect place if you are a self sufficient traveler and want a wonderful escape beach vacation. The folks at Pineapple Fields are very nice and helpful and these condos are extremely well located, well maintained, very clean and while not super luxurious are perfect for a great getaway. Fortunately the best restaurant on the Island (Tippy's) is right there. The Beach at Pineapple Fields — just across the street from the condos is perfect and you can easily walk a mile in either direction on the classic Pinkish Bermuda sand. Horseback riding and the Leon Levy Nature Preserve (very cool) are also in easy walking distance. You can rent beach toys from Pineapple fields if you want to snorkel or SUP. You probably want to rent a car if you want to maximize your Eleuthera vacation experience. Pineapple Fields is on the Atlantic and loses sun in winter months in early afternoon. Never fear — there are great Caribbean Beaches 10-15 minutes away for the afternoons. As good as Tippy's is you might also want to try other restaurants — we liked 1648 and the Buccaneer, both in Governor's Harbor (7 mins away) to expand your eating options. Overall we couldn't have been happier with Pineapple Fields and the staff there.
