Ilgar is truly a gem of a person — and so is his wife.
When I first arrived, I wasn’t completely sure what to expect. But later in the evening, when the owner himself came, I immediately knew I had made one of the best decisions of my trip.
The hospitality, the warmth, and the sincerity they show are on another level.
The location is also perfect — peaceful, convenient, and close to everything.
If you’re coming to Sheki, Ilgar’s Guesthouse is absolutely the right choice.
The best place I have ever stayed so far in my travelling journey, super great value for the money, highly appreciate the owner, Ilghar, who is very kind and helpful, the views are incredibly great with mountains and greeenery all around, the bathrooms are super near and comfortable, I felt home for nights I stayed there, they even gave me tea and condiments for a night when I was feeling off the guard, can't ask for a better place, highly recommend this place.
