Central Hostel

The location is great, room itself is also fine. But also cause it is in the city center so it is so loud. By closing the window and turned on the air conditioning, and the ear plug, it was OK for me.
What was not ok was the staff. Slow and unfriendly, it feels like they cannot smile.
Make me feel it’s just a money business.
You come early but you’re not allowed to use anything from the Hostel, because it is also the cafe. They reserve the space for the cafe rather than the Hostel customer.
So you have to find somewhere to spend the time until your check in, so you have to buy something for the cafe so you’re allowed to sit in cafés territory.
You entered the door of the hostel that it feels like there is an invisible door that you’re not allowed to step in. Why they cannot make the space for café, smaller, and have more room for their guests?
And no hot water when I wanted to shower in the evening.

Very bad customer service. I rode my bicycle from Baku to Sheki and want to check in, but the person worked here was gone for lunch and asked me to wait until 13:00 through the phone. I told him I have a bicycle, where I was going to put it, and he said leave the bicycle outside street. That’s ridiculous. How I leave my bike on the street? I rode 4 days from Baku to come here and just want to see Sheki. He didn’t give me any solution to store my bicycle. I have to turn around to find other place to stay.

This hostel is 10/10! I loved the place—super modern with an amazing interior design. The rooms and toilets are very clean. The receptionists, Gülnar and Dasqin, were incredibly friendly and helpful!
There’s also a coffee shop connected to the hostel with a small terrace, which is a great spot to relax. It’s perfect for travelers who want to work or just chill and explore the city.
Plus, the location is great—right in the center!

I *really* wanted to like this hostel. It's clearly been redone recently and they put a lot of effort into the rooms. The locker storage is nice and an outlet by each bed is a nice touch. The A/C in the bedroom was great.
The Wi-Fi, however, is horrible; it's slow and doesn't reach most of the hostel. The kitchen is useless beyond a microwave and a kettle for tea. Seriously, it took an hour to cook a tiny pot of rice. The floors are uneven and I often found myself tripping. The top bunk was extremely uncomfortable to climb in and out, I scraped my shin every time. And the "luggage storage" consists of tiny cubbies in the main entryway, zero security.
The worst thing though was the staff getting upset that I used the kitchen to eat lunch after checkout. I've never had a hostel do that before. Most are happy for you to hang around until your bus or whatever you're waiting for.
In short, don't stay here if you need Wi-Fi or a kitchen or if you don't plan to leave exactly at checkout time. I regretted staying more than one night and would not stay again.
The nighttime receptionist was extremely helpful when I needed him.

Overall good experience for low budget travelling. The rooms are well maintained and washrooms are also clean.

This hostel is much better than many top rated ones in Baku and the price is even lesser! Being right in the center its location is great with one store right across the street and other markets nearby. Stayed 2 nights there and didn't wanna leave because of the awesome Shaki and this hostel.

Came for two nights and extended one more. Everything the hostel offers is commendable. Really clean and well maintained. In the city centre and has a bus stop just outside. The lady in the front desk is super helpful and only english speaker. Rest of the staff is nice as well. The rooms are very cosy and the inhouse cafeteria is something you can rely on here for breakfast. Walkable distance from major attractions. Beautiful place and people. Highly recommend.

This is one of the places I find peace sitting in and staying overnight. It has both modern coffee shop (the only one in Sheki) and the rooms for very affordable prices. In addition, they offer breakfast for 3 EUR and it is fresh and healthy.

The rooms were great (though could use curtains for the beds) the Wi-Fi worked well and everywhere was warm. The bathrooms are clean and the location is unbeatable — they could use a better communal space though, it’s unclear if we can use the cafes space downstairs (for paid customers presumably) And the top floor kitchen is a bit dreary.

This is a great option to stay in. The hostel is kept very clean. The hostel also has a cafe on the ground floor which is like a hub for a lot of locals too. It's a good vibe at the hostel. The location is fine as it is not very close to a lot of things but it is also not so far from most of the things. A negative 1 (out of 10) that you may not get get great travel help from the staff if you don't speak the local language. But I would highly recommend this hostel for the vibe.

The Best Hostel I've ever stayed, great location, great staff and nothing to complain about.

1. Beautiful and neat rooms with lockers, Wi-Fi, TV, AC and a great bed. I had a room with only 2 beds.
2. Wonderful staff willing to help with anything.
3. Location is very central, 10mins walk from the bus station and supermarket/eateries are right outside the hostel door.
4. IMO this place qualifies as a hotel more than a hostel, it is that good :)
5. Also has a small kitchen for those who want to cook and make use of it.
