River Side Hotel

Guest feedback regarding the staff is mixed. Some guests describe the reception and spa staff as very friendly and praise the excellent service. However, others report poor service in the restaurant, noting instances where waiters spilled water without apologizing. There are also complaints about staff incompetence in resolving technical issues, such as unfulfilled promises over several days to fix the hot water supply.

Breakfast at the hotel generally receives positive feedback: guests note a wide variety of dishes, including porridge, eggs, sausages, cheeses, butter, fruit, and desserts. The ingredients are described as fresh and tasty, with many mentioning you will not leave hungry. Nonetheless, there are occasional reviews noting that breakfast falls slightly short of expectations and that the food service can be of lower quality.

The hotel features an on-site restaurant serving delicious food, and many guests rate the value for money highly. However, there has also been distinctly negative feedback: one visitor noted a significant decline in quality, with reduced portion sizes at inflated prices. In particular, the cost of bread was criticized (12 manats for a few small rolls), which was described as unacceptable for Azerbaijan.

Reviews regarding housekeeping are contradictory. Some guests are satisfied with the cleanliness of the rooms and the promptness of the cleaning service. Others report poor cleaning quality, stating that towels and bed linen were not changed, but merely folded back into place. There was also a highly negative incident involving a condom found in a room after check-in, although the management resolved the issue promptly by providing a room change and a complimentary fruit basket.

Reviews mention serious technical issues. In one instance, there was no hot water for two out of four days. A guest also noted a complete lack of telephones in the rooms, making it necessary to go downstairs to contact the front desk.

For guest recreation, a swimming pool and sauna are available free of charge. The grounds feature a children's playground, making the hotel suitable for family vacations with children. In addition, the hotel offers massage services, which guests recommend trying.
