We stayed at the rote Wand for 4 nights. We found it to be a perfect setting for our Ski holiday. The location couldn’t have been better with easy access to transport. Our room had a beautiful view of the mountains, it was a large room with plenty of room for storage.
As requested it was quiet with no noise whatsoever.
The Hotel was impeccably clean.
The food menues were excellent — we ate so much good food!
We have both travelled extensively and believe that the service and attention to detail was impeccable.

Super area, top location and excellent hosts. This starts with the check-in (the suitcases are brought to the room and, thank God, you first supply yourself with alcohol) and then proceeds seamlessly. Great food with local products, good wines, attentive staff. Good childcare rounds off the whole thing. Big minus point: The two weeks were too short!

A beautiful hotel, we were there once and now that of our year's graduation holiday every year, the food is a dream and the service is just great, the staff is very friendly and familiar and the price is totally reasonable.

Great family Hotel in Zug above Lech. The bar, the restaurant, the team, the Schualhus, everything is perfect!

The evening began very promising with an extremely friendly and professional team at the bar. But it came as it had to come-from then on it went downhill! The ambiance and smell comes from the 70s that food was not exciting but OK. However, the service was completely crashing. What Austrian hospitality means is forgotten in the red wall-is also not necessary where the guests come anyway! A young not ambitious service team has never learned to meet high demands of guests. The level of the prices is not reflected in the ambience or in the service, for us a red cloth the red wall.

Very law level of service bad customer service rental shop to avoid. I have rented ski equipment for 1.5 h and you charged me a full time rent.

One of the most beautiful areas in the world: The Hotel red wall with its magnificent culinary delights, its unique flair and the numerous, priceless natural treasures (on the picture of the Formarinsee). Worth a trip again and again!

Schönes Hotel und Restaurants. Gemütliche Atmosphäre und schön eingerichtet. Sehr nettes Personal. Das Alte Schulhaus ist eine Erlaubnis Ansich.

One of the best Alpine hotels I've ever been. Located close to the ski-lift. The hotel is ski-out but not ski-in unless you are not the extreme skier. The spa area is outstanding with huge space and includes all extras. The outside hot swimming pool is exceptional for winter relax. The inside pool is good for swiming. The fitnes area is first class. The food in restaurant is very good for Austria. The rooms are spacious and I could recommend the 2-levels studios if you stay with children.

Top location, great food, great ambience, beautiful spa, beautiful views, very friendly service, super bar with yummy cocktails! stylish design all over but very comfy at the same time! we will be back!

Dinner: Food was okay, however the staff wasn't as friendly as expected Bar: Nice, just be more careful with selling alcohol to underaged.

Great food, friendly stuff, nice outdoor pool. 3 recommendations: longer beds for tall people, a Batista to make coffee, a machine for freshly squeezed orange juice in the morning.

Very nice hotel with good food, extremely cheese buffet and Nice staff. Sports shop in the hotel with ski — and bike rental. SPA very nice gym in the basement without Windows. Only what not so well liked, was the rumgerenne of children at dinner.

You need to come to Lech and discover this unrepeatable place by yourself. Located in the idyllic little village of Zug (a couple of Km away from Lech), the hotel offers everything you could need to have an incredible vacation. Food, friendly stuff, infrastructure, the owners (Family Walch), services… is absolutely highlight! If you love the mountains and a good service, you really need to give a try to the Hotel RoteWand!

A holiday to feel Wellness & Relax! Exploring the mountains in Lech was a dream for us as passionate hikers. As a particularly great, we felt that we were traveling on a day with a hotel-own hiking guide and by him have shown great places and routes. In addition to the hiking trails, the hotel convinced red wall with exclusive spa services and an outstanding cuisine with me and my husband. For us, the holiday was a successful combination of adventure and relaxation. We will be back!

Great hotel, great team, very child-friendly, beautiful summer hiking routes in the area between Lech/Zug and Warth. The total package was worth every dollar.
