Am here on a class trip! Everything is great only the breakfast is not good! You have a selection of honey jams and Nutella! You get 1 breadet! So actually quite good!

48 euros p night… its perfect… a single room with bed, TV own bathroom… well what do you need. Half the price of the ibis… but compare them both… the pension is a old building with old furniture ahhh and you only have Wi-Fi at the loby… You got Wi-Fi in the centre of t city. Hope you enjoy vienna… I love it.

Strange big rooms, which are not so comfortable. The breakfast was the worse which I ever had.

This is an economy stay. The amenities were fine but what could use some improvement is the staff. They are extremely rude. Apparently the stay is too economic to include kindness and respect. There is only one place with Wi-Fi, a common area. The first time I entered I was yelled at for not asking for permission first to enter the COMMON area, which I let pass. I asked until what time they closed and they stated at 10pm. The first night I stayed until 9:40 and the second night I was kicked out of the place a little before 9 because the staff wanted to eat and watch TV when they told me they closed at 10. Also, every time I had a simple question I got answers with attitude and in a rude manner. The place is fine to stay and affordable but the staff and their attitude was what really made this a bad stay and experience.

Cheap and clean. They have smoking rooms, but no Wi-Fi in the rooms.

Good quality of rooms. Keep more variety for breakfast instead only round breads. Hotel location is really good.

We were last weekend there and were shocked. Fire door, 2 cakes, stinky, walls thin, …

I was already 3 times in this guesthouse. Every time I took another room, I already had a 3-bed rooms. And all were equally clean. For the money, almost directly to the Western train station, no one can say anything. The breakfast was standard but good. The workforce are more friendly than the boss, that's for sure. Even in the cheapest version which I had a (single room without bathroom), everything was clean and the beds very clean.
The location, price and cleanliness make pension Fünfhaus to the address for the narrow purse. The otherwise specified road noise came mostly from the wombat hostel next door. Viennese standards is the lock lane of one of the rather quieter corners.
Conclusion: Humble people will feel comfortable.

I have never seen such a thing. Rooms old, fire door as room door, use remote controls for television € 20, —. Breakfast 2 rolls, 1 small butter, mini basin jam, coffee terribly, once something else ordered total is bureaucratic. I was with work colleagues there, all have the same opinion. Payment of the room (€ 32, — per person) – I was of the opinion that credit card is accepted – cried the owner from the reception desk, which is located next to the breakfast room: "We accept no credit cards! " in a tone which is unacceptable. Our money is that right, but lousy performance. My advice: Stay away from this bed and breakfast.

I found this hotel through Rick Steves' Guidebook but unfortunately staying with this hotel was not a very good experience. As a solo traveler to many places, I am usually very flexible in terms of accommodation but I think I should share my experience staying there so that you can make better judgment by yourself. Neighborhood: The neighborhood is a bit seedy, which means you might not want to get back too late after dark. If I could pick up a hotel again, I would rather staying somewhere within the Ring of Vienna so that I could spend extra hours at night outside, as Vienna has so much to see after dark. Even I have to pay extra to stay in the hotel within the Ring, I think the extra money would be well spent. Room: * I requested a single room and was assigned to a different property owned by the hotel. It turned out that this property does not differentiate smoke and non-smoke room. I am a non-smoker and was assigned to a smoky room. So if you want to go with that hotel. Ask ahead. * Rick Steves mentioned that the floor of the room within their additional property is tile. I think I know why the room has tiles on the floor. Basically the room is very damp, reminding me of the hotel I used to stay in the Bahamas. Every day when I stepped into the room, I feel obvious humidity with bed sheet. Just remember, this is in very hot summer weather in Vienna. * Noise: the extra property with this hotel is located right next to a hostel.

Place is good enough if you don't expect much. The rooms are adequate, with clean towels, sheets, and access to WC and Dusche. Breakfast consists of a white roll (Semmel) with butter and jam. Coffee, tea, or juice. That's it, folks. I'd suggest doing breakfast yourself. The breakfast staff are far from charming, but we were able to charm then and thus garner slightly better service. Be sure to ask for a room OFF of the street if you hope to sleep. I'll be going back, because it's cheap enough and far better than many.
