Der Stasta - New Opening

Food is all so so good. As is the service, without being over-the-top. Nice traditional local fare but everything with some interesting angle. Top marks, Stasta.

We didn't stay at the hotel but ate at the restaurant and had to change our mind about our self-imposed rule of never eating in the restaurant of an hotel. This was a great experience of fine dining. Everything we tried was tip top quality and taste. Service was excellent. We loved it so much that we'll have the celebration of our wedding in this restaurant. Highly recommended!

When I ordered, I was told that the table reservation is 12 till 13:30.
At 13:20, the waiter gave us the bill and told us to leave.
It is a very expensive restaurant that isn't worth its price.

Nice accomodation, expirienced stuff, GREAT food (! ), peaceful location. I spent quite some stays there. Don't let the shower cabin door (leaking) fool you (it's the same in any room 🙂). My best recommendation! Try STASTA, you won't regret.

Such a pretty spot to eat! my family comes here regularly and the food is always spot on, it is high quality & the portions are just the right size to fit in some dessert. Depending on the season, they have a different menu card, the only problem I have is that they don‘t always have something vegetarian BUT the chef always cooked something separately if I asked for something without meat. Always serving with some fresh bread, oil or butter, also depending on the season. The location is perfect, even for bigger groups, waiters are really friendly and overall it’s worth all the money you spend!

Very pleasant hotel. I'm sorry I didn't get to try the restaurant (other than breakfast). Very clean, quiet, good-sized room. Marked down for:
* the shower — a very basic mixer-tap that went from too-hot to too-cold with "just-right" very difficult to achieve; and then the water temperature fluctuated widely. There was also nowhere safe to put my (expensive varifocal) glasses safely.
* the air-conditioning unit. Very much needed in the heat wave and its high humidity; but it was bulky and noisy.

Comfortable, surprisingly quiet despite being on a main road. I didn't get to eat at the restaurant (perhaps another time…), apart from breakfast, which was adequate.
The air conditioner worked (I was there during an oppressive, humid heat wave), but it was very noisy.
Clean, comfortable. But the shower…
The tiling, decoration and cleanliness of the shower room were impeccable; but the shower really let it down, quite unnecessarily. At home I have a thermostatic shower mixer. 2 decades on, the water temperature barely flickers if somebody runs a tap elsewhere — these things work. But the Stasta shower had one of those ghastly mixer taps which are a bit stiff to turn, and where the smallest of movements turns the water from unpleasantly cold to dangerously hot. I didn't feel it was safe for my 7-year-old grandchild having a shower. Once you manage to select an OK temperature, the temperature fluctuated wildly in use.
And its failings didn't stop there. The tap sticks out, so it was all too easy to nudge it accidentally while showering.
I'm pretty short-sighted, so I like to wear my glasses into the shower, and to have somewhere safe to put them while I wash my hair. But the only place for this was a too-small (? soap dish) where they perched precariously.
So — a great hotel stay, marred by the terrible shower.

Great service. Great food. Great ambiance.

Perfect place for accomodation and very good restaurant. For services and personnel the rate is 10 from 10.

We had a pleasant evening with friends in the guest garden of the Stasta, the service staff was very cheerful and attentive, the food a feast for the palate. We are very happy to come back.
