We had a wonderful family holiday in 2021 here. The house we stayed was very clean so were the sauna and the pool and facilities were very nice, food was amazing and the location/scenery was breathtaking. There is something here for every age group. But the best of all, this resort is run by a family that always smile, love and accommodate kids, never look stressed and does everything in their hands to keep you happy.
Beautifull place, great for families and kids. Very very friendly and helpfull staff. Very nice pool, good breakfast and dinner, nice and well equiped appartment, definitely would like to come back! 😃

Absolutely every aspect of our stay at Almresort Baumschlagerberg contributed to a very pleasant experience. The first thing we noticed as we drove up the hill to the hotel was the view. At first, we couldn't believe that the hotel could have a better view than the one from the road, but we were wrong: whether sitting by the pool, walking along one of the nearby fields, eating at the restaurant, or enjoying the view from our bedroom, the view of the Totes Gebirge Mountains is ever-present.
Then there was the restaurant: breakfast, lunch, and dinner were consistently good during the 4 days we stayed at the hotel. The food is sourced from local producers, and everything is fresh or organic. There's something for everyone. They also have a nice selection of wines from Styria, Burgenland, and the region. We are quite particular when it comes to food, and we were never disappointed.
Another enjoyable part of our stay was the pool and spa. I won't go into detail about the facilities as everything is explained on the hotel's website, but there's enough to satisfy those who need to relax after a long hike in the mountains. Last but not least, the hotel is well-connected to various outdoor activities and places nearby, like Hinterstoder. Oh, and I almost forgot to mention the friendliness and attention of our hosts, who made sure we had everything we needed and felt comfortable.
Overall, we enjoyed our time at Almresort Baumschlagerberg and plan to return soon.
