Das Quartier in Q&A

Information is provided based on reviews and may contain inaccuracies.

What is located near the Das Quartier hotel?

The hotel is located roadside, making it a convenient option for travelers on the go. There is a supermarket in the immediate vicinity of the property.

Does the hotel have parking, and are there any specific issues with it?

The hotel has parking, but the situation with it is a major concern for guests. The premises feature strict private property signs and video surveillance restrictions, with access permitted only to guests. Visitors report an extremely unfriendly approach: there are cases where brief stops to check out the hotel or drive onto the property resulted in expensive legal claims from lawyers in Vienna (one guest mentioned a fine of 395 euros). Guests are advised to be extremely cautious and not stop until all terms and conditions are fully clarified.

How polite is the staff, and how are booking issues resolved?

Opinions about the staff are divided: some guests describe the employees as very sweet. At the same time, an extremely negative experience was recorded with bookings via Booking.com, where reservations were canceled three weeks prior to check-in without explanation, and attempts to phone management to clarify the situation were ignored.

What is the condition of the rooms at Das Quartier, are the beds comfortable, and are there curtains in the rooms?

Reviews regarding the rooms are mixed. Some guests note that everything has been modernized, the furniture is new, and the beds are very comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. Others complain about general neglect: rooms are in need of renovation, some rooms lack blackout curtains, and the overall atmosphere of the building resembles a barracks due to the lack of decor.

How clean are the rooms and common areas?

Cleanliness at the hotel is a major point of complaint. Guests report heavily soiled rooms, mold in the bathroom, and the smell of tobacco in the hallways. The shared kitchen is especially criticized, with one visitor noting it had not been cleaned in years. The most serious issue was the presence of mice in both the rooms and the kitchen.

Is there regular cleaning and linen changing?

The housekeeping service is rated negatively. Guests who stayed at the hotel for nearly two weeks noted that during their entire stay, the room was never cleaned, and towels and bed linen were not changed.

What amenities are provided in the rooms and common areas?

The hotel offers single, double, and triple rooms, each equipped with a private bathroom. A shared kitchen and laundry facilities are available for guests. In some cases, guests complained about an insufficient number of towels (only one small towel per person).
