Exceptional location, great SPA, very convenient for families.

We had a large apartment with open kitchen/living area, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. All super clean, neat. Beds absolutely top. Staff always friendly and helpful.
Beautiful area, you can do a lot, whether on foot or by bike.
We're happy to come back.

I'm a bit torn about this one. We stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment which was very spacious and comfortable. You can do a lot by foot. Going down to the center in 20 minutes if you cut through the grass slope. And you can easily hike all around. However, Wi-Fi isn't free and pretty expensive, unless you're a club member. We stayed 2 nights and the apartment wasn't cleaned, might be normal, but might be a mistake. The staff was unhelpful with hikes and giving direction. Honestly they seemed pretty clueless.

Nice place. Pool is just too cold to be enjoyable, the kids (who love pools) come out shivering after 10 mins and the “jacuzzi” just is plain bizarre having to fill and empty every few mins. Shame as this spoils a good place to stay. Why do Diamond have such cold pools? Otherwise lovely view from balcony and rooms well equipped.

I can't say enough nice things about The Alpine Club: courteous staff, clean and modern rooms, amazing views of Schladming. I've stayed here twice so far and would gladly go back.

Friendly personel, neat apartment with cooking facilities. Tip: get in touch on the welcoming party with other guests and Christine; their host. Amazing surroundings in summer.

A place to visit. Located in a beautiful town. There are many interesting places nearby. The rooms are cozy, clean, beautiful, nice pool, there is all the necessary utensils and even more) two TV channels in Russian language. Minus-useless hairdryer that shuts down without starting to dry your hair) paid breakfasts and a weak waifai.

This is a ski resort during winter, but during summertime serves as a hiking and outdoor activity retreat. It is just outside the town of Schladming, which is both beautiful and charming. The rooms are quite big, apartment style rooms with balconies and small kitchens. So far the service is good and the resort's in-house restaurant is enjoyable. Breakfast is quite good and reasonable, and dinner is good but not inexpensive.

Rooms are very spacious two balconies one bathroom. It is very good with room heaters water also comes heated. There is a swimming pool, restaurant, Wi-Fi etc. I would recommend you to stay here.

Nice big apartment with kitchen. Clean an comfort room. Baby cot possible. Poll and wellnes was closed, but lokked nice. Food in restaurant was good but pretty expensive. Sourroundings of hotel was nice.

Perfect place for a perfect stay. The rooms are spacious clean and very comfortable. Location is brilliant for a nice walk into town. (May be a taxi back for those not so fit due to the long hill)

The Alpin club is in a lovely area the rooms are lovely the service is very good and the restaurant on sit is very good as well.

Went for a ski vacation — staff is friendly helpful English frienlt. Breakfast was well worth the price and loved the bread service.

Rooms are OK. But everything is to pay extra. Wi-Fi, breakfast, wellness, towels in the wellness area, check out until noon, … is also not possible to use the wellness area on the day of departure, even for a fee. For the prices too little power.

I cannot fault the place at all my 1 bedroom apartment had fantastic views although the rear apartments do not as they face the mountain. 7 days was not enough only just getting my ski legs back when it was time to leave so have already booked next year for 14 days. The skiing suited all abilities with a good mix of red and blue runs immediately accessible from the hotel and black and red runs by using the ski lifts. Water in the restaurant most nights food was good with generous portions.

Best place in the world. Lovely staff, all the necessary amenities, and a view of the ski slope. What more can a girl want!

I don't know the room. Breakfast is really weak. Small selection, fried egg costs extra…

If you don't take the super apartment you have to pay 25 EUR for pool use per day… Towels cost 1 EUR per day… Breakfast 9 EUR per adult children 5 EUR… Breakfast is OK. The apartment itself is very large and nice we were 6 people. Everything you need is available in the kitchen. The staff at the reception is so well.

I have stayed here twice, December 2016 and December 2017, and would definitely stay again. Schladming is a pretty good ski resort for mid range skiers, happy with reds but not too fussed with black runs. The first room we had at the club was outstanding, the second not so good but still comfortable. It is out of the main town and up a hill so if you drive make sure you have winter tyres on. The restaurant on site isn't owned by DIamond so you cannot charge the food to your room but it is well worth a visit.

Apartmentmenthotel approx. 200m from the piste. The apartment was nicely decorated and not very tastefully furnished. The pictures are deceiving here. The sauna area is also very unlovingly designed and offers far too little lying. The pool is good, though very noisy by many children playing.
The restaurant is very good. Breakfast costs €9.

Nice place and has close proximity to the surrounding attractions, has free parking a lovely pool and game room. The only downside was both the heaters were not working but the staff was kind enough to bring as 2 portable heaters.

Clean, friendly and you can ski in and ski out easily.

Only drawback: swimming pool and fitness costs extra and are totally overpriced!

Hotel in itself not bad. Good value for money and room clean.
But the service left much to be desired. With friends I ordered a 4-bed room. On arrival to the room, however, we looked for the 4th bed in vain. At the reception, we were not very friendly explaining that the unrelated couch is supposed to represent the missing bed. We complained about it and were dismissed with very inconclusive justifications. The couch then had to be self-upholstered and was far too small for a normal sized adult (approx. Width 180 cm) to sleep on. This was in the removed state max. 150cm Long.
Service generally not friendly.

A small village ideally placed for sight seeing to Saltzburg and surrounding area. Local public services reasonably priced.

Great location, great rooms, nice staff and good food. Pool and especially sauna clean but completely outdated. Anyone not in sauna wants top, otherwise urgently need renovation at this price category.

Awesome staff! Clean and comfy rooms. My only issue is the same I have almost everywhere in Europe… provide a thin blanket option or at least a top sheet on the bed! When you sleep under a down-filled comforter ONLY, you cannot help but be either sweaty or freezing, no matter how cold or warm you keep the room.

Quiet and out the way with pool and restaurant, can still walk to town easily.

Our room has a really good view and the hotel is clean and functioning. For a self catering apartment there is almost nowhere to store food, which is a bit weird. The swimming pool and sauna are good.

Great, but in my apartment (201) The sofa bed was not comfortable at all.

Staff are friendly, helpful and fluent in English. The suite is big and well equipped. Views from the hotel are also pretty spectacular!

Large apartment with 2 bedrooms and separate bath/shower room and WC shared between the bedrooms. Small kitchen is adequate but as has been said previously lacks an oven which limits meals somewhat. There is a combi microwave oven but it is far too complicated and we didn't want to spend the week working out how to use it… ;-) The dishwasher is unnecessary in our opinion and the space would better be used by a proper oven? The pool is a god size for the number of guests who use it which is a lot more than can be said for the jacuzzi which is little more than a bath with a few ineffective jets. The gym is likewise small with only an exercise bike and a multi gym machine. The sauna is small, multisex and has a no clothes policy, it seemed to be perpetually occupied by short, obese, naked men for the duration of our stay… Otherwise the hotel is good with attentive and helpful staff. We did not have a car so relied on skiing in and out of the hotel via a short 5 minute walk to the piste. It does lack a place to chill out and have a bit of apres ski although the non-hotel restaurant does have a very small but impersonal bar area. There is NOTHING else nearby so we used the facilities at Rhormoos, bars, restaurants, ATM, ski hire/service and small supermarket/deli.

As members of Diamond Resorts the Alpine Club was the only resort available to us in Austria in December 2016. We arrived by car in the first week of the season and our arrival was efficiently dealt with and our appartment was extremely comfortable. As it was early in the season we had a two bedroom apartment which was huge. The staff were always polite and helpful. The views from our room across the Valley were stunning.
The downsides to the hotel are not exactly that bad but need mentioning. The partial kitchen, with no oven, severely limits what food you can prepare for yourself. Not too bad a problem as there is a restaurant in the hotel. The restaurant isn't run by the hotel though so you do have to pay meal by meal, and it is closed I think on the Tuesday night.
There was one mistake made by the hotel that needs to be avoided for first time visitors who do not know the layout of Schladming or those who arrive without a car. The representative from the ski school who saw us in reception the evening we arrived told us to get the bus into Schladming and after hiring our kit make our way up Planai to meet our instructor. The receptionist at the hotel didn't realize this and put us on a bus that took us to completely the wrong mountain and without a way of getting to Planai, as we were rusty skiers with no local knowledge. This could have been avoided easily if this information had been shared although some of the blame does lie with the ski school rep.

The rooms were big and comfy, however there weren't that many available power outtakes. And the TV didn't work.

Really good for the price and the stuff is very kind. The view is awesome. Wifi should be free. (6 Euro/day)

Stayed for a week in winter in one of the newer refurbished apartments. The apartment was really nice. The staff were helpful and restaurant was excellent.

Great hotel in Schladming, with a good restaurant. The appartments are spacious, clean and comfortable. It is close to the slopes, but not at the slope (approx 200m walk).
