The food is excellent, the staff very friendly and attentive, best service in the restaurant. Ambience exceptionally tasteful. I have visited Gabelhofen once each of the last three years and have always been very satisfied. It is logical that everything is perfect, Mateschitz just. Just like the Red Bull Ring.

Beautiful, stylish ambience! Excellent food and wines! Great staff! Tower suites a dream! Great bar, excellent cocktails. No wishes remain unfulfilled. Endless enthusiasm and great praise!

Were just at Father's Day dinner. Appetizer was good, after the veal baker with curry the whole mouth burned me. Fish was also good. But all the meat was unseasoned and unfortunately very loveless. Vegetables were gossip. And the sorbet from the Maracuja was extremely acidic and without sugar not to get down. Our expectations were very high but unfortunately were not met. What a pity. The ambience and the service were great but could not make up for the food.

Beautiful chateau embedded in into the surrounding landscape. We attended a wedding there, personell was very competent and friendly. It is also a great place to stop for a drink and take some fotos.

Perfect in every way. Gastronomy incredibly good. The wine list thick as a Bible. Unfiltered wines. Good bed. Wonderful bath. Breakfast to kneel down. There are no wishes left unfulfilled.

Nice hotel in a castle setting. Facilities are clean and comfortable.

Best house in the Murtal, highly recommended. The only shortcoming is the rapidly changing staff.

Amazing hotel. I was there during the launch event for the all new 2019 Jeep Wrangler with Middle East Media. A building full of history. It is actually a castle from 1500.

A beautiful Four star hotel. A unique location. Large spacious rooms. A mixture of modern and rustic furnishings. Breakfast is great, although the room is rather dark. Spacious and open function hall. Certainly also great for weddings, but also for business events. Windows are very small, it is because the castle is also as restored as it should be, namely authentic and "original". Not every room is barrier-free, elevator available. I don't think much more can be done, really great.

Historically meets modern simply wonderful architecture, lovingly restored. Modern equipped for reception or seminars. Good food.

Elegant restaurant with a nice ambiance. Staff very friendly and courteous. Unfortunately, the beef soup was only 0815 and the veal schnitzel only tasted like butter. I don't want to start from the potato salad. The courts of the others were very good according to their opinion.

We spent the "Bauer Silent 2017/18 here. Very nice rooms, absolute tranquility, which is disturbed only by the rushing ventilation.

We stayed at the restaurant. Friendly and competent staff. Food was very good and the portions were generous, not like in some other nobler restaurants. The atmosphere was great, too. Prices are more upscale.

Stunning appearance of a mighty castle castle with strong walls. Inside very friendly and bright ambience. Protected living experience with perfect state-of-the-art building technology, clean optimally air-conditioned rooms and fabulous cuisine that offers exquisite, international and local culinary delights.

Was already quite good, however, we were awakened to 3am early by the wedding party, which broke home…

Top notch service in this incredible structure which mixes new and old seamlessly. My room was set out beautifully but you need to remember we are in some kind of a fort and it was a little bunker-like. Only external influence was from the skylight high in the roof. I really enjoyed the stay and will come again next time I'm in town.

Where do I start? There are so much positive things to express! First of all the location. The restaurant is located in an old medieval castle which was totally renovated and modernize without losing the historical charm. I ordered the six course menu with quinoa salad, soup, fish, lamb and desert. Every dish was refined with a very high focus on the details and also tasted excelent. The prices are on the higher end of the region but everything was worth every cent. The only negative point was the delay between courses, but if the quality is so impressive, it's no issue. If you want to enjoy fine dining, the restaurant in Schloss Gabelhofen is the first choice in the Murtal region of east styria.

I was on an invitation Easter 2014 in Schloss Gabelhofen. Very friendly staff, Super Breakfast and desirable kitchen. Sauna all Great. I'll have to come back and the Hotel further-recommend.

Our getaway in the Schloss Gabelhofen tomorrow unfortunately comes to an end. We have enjoyed the 3 days here and will certainly return. Personnel top, food world class. And the journey from Vienna really easily and quickly accessible. Also the distance to the Red Bull ring is just 10 km away. The Therme Aqua Lux is located just behind the Castle and offers a fantastic sauna landscape. We come back.

Great, quiet location near Graz with good transport links. Friendly staff and good food in the restaurant. Free Wi-Fi.

The dinner was well chosen well the Athmosephaere very quiet the architecture
the Ensamble makes a positive impression. Pleasantly relaxed, I traveled
next to Florence.

Very nice ambience. Friendly staff without being intrusive. Excellent food, very good matching wines. If I'm back in the area to do, Schloss Gabelhofen is my first choice.
