The best food here and hotel is beautiful.

The food is not worth the money, served loveless, Wiener Schnitzel with fries without salad side dish for whole 23€! You can expect better things. What a pity. In addition, €5.50 for a 400ml cola is also fierce.

What can we say, there are only positives! It is a great hotel in a nice place, the food is delicious, the senior chefs really super nice and the waiters — the madness ;-) keep going!

We came home late on the first day and found that the left half of the bed or mattress was disgustingly stank, so that it would not have been possible to stay overnight due to the smell. A friendly man from the hotel organized us another room, where a bed was completely through, but I did not want to complain a second time. BUT: The next day, when we checked out, the woman at the reception said very disparagingly, "Oh, you were with the room. " An apology didn't come over her lips, my guess: If you don't meet the average age of 65, courtesy obviously doesn't pay off. Therefore — despite the good breakfast — only two points.

Fantastic food and great service, nice rooms too. What a lovely old building as well. I'd fully recommend this place.

This Hotel was first class, lovely atmosphere, pleasant staff, fantastic food, everything about it was great.

Probably one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The staff work very hard to make everything perfect. The food is beautiful local food. If you can pick foult with this place you are sad person and should not travel.

This is a great hotel! The double room is spacious, clean and comfortable. The hotel staff, especially the reception staff, are very warm, welcoming, accommodating and polite. The food at the restaurant is great although a little pricey.

We got married here in 2004 and everything was faultless, stayed for a week. Food excellent and staff and owners fantastic! Would love to return!

I had a very nice lunch with a friend: my Wildragout (Wildgulasch) and heidelbeeren strudel were great. The two of us had a main dish and dessert each, plus beer, water and coffee and spent 64 euros.

Just went here for dinner. Super cute restaurant, in a traditional Austrian style, with the patio looking onto a beautiful square. Food was good too.

Our room was very nice and the bathroom with a beautiful large shower and a separate toilet. The balcony was overlooking a beautiful Lake Wolfgang. The staff were helpful and very polite. The breakfast buffet was filled constantly fresh and in the evening, we could choose between 2 different main menus which every day on latest pleasantly surprised us. We are have been times there won't be the last, because you have of St. Gilgen from many excursion possibilities.
