Worst hotel service I ever been to. don't you ever stay here. We arrived last evening to the hotel. After doing the chek in the reception guy left as fast as he could. We left for dinner before checking our room. By the time we came back, we opened the door and found A COUPLE SLEEPING IN OUR ROOM. We called inmediately to the emergency number, they took 15 minutes to answer. Finally someone picked up the line and told us he was going back to the hotel to give us another room ASAP. He took 45 MINUTES. We finally got to bed, 1 hour and a half later from the moment I found the couple sleeping. Plus, we were lucky we left our luggage in the car, if we would've left our luggage in the room to someone else to go through it. Next morning we spoke with the manager, to see if we could have some refund. He literally told us that the room was "cheap enough" and that we couldn't complain about the price. Never in my entire life I had such a bad experience. awful disgusting scammers.

This place was satisfactory. A room with a queen size bed is affordable when split two ways, but don’t expect the room to dazzle you. The bed was comfy. Breakfast included helps to boost the value for money. Our lamp literally disintegrated 5 minutes after turning it on, because it had previously been broken and taped back together. I suppose the heat from the bulb cause the ceramic to expand and the glue on the tape to melt? There was also a small delay checking in because the reservation information booked through the chase credit card portal wasn’t immediately transmitted to the hotel, but the manager tried to make it as smooth as possible.

Clean and convenient. The hotel describes itself as modest, and that is an honest view and it meets this in a 5-star way. Bus stop at the door. Local bar, restaurant, bakery and takeaways close by. Ten minute walk from central bus and train station, or take the number 3 or 5 bus. The staff, especially the receptionist, has a busy job. Coming from a different culture, her brusque manner belies her friendliness and fun. Standard double room was a good size with a nice square shower cubicle. Tasty breakfast with lots of choices. Good value.

Very good service and very pleasant rooms.

Good place to stay in Salzburg. The only problem was that there is no elevator in the building and we had to go up 3 floors with 7 bags. Breakfast was very good.

Located a little outside the old town, about 1, 5 km but quiet area during the night. Recommended for one night.

It could be beautiful here! unfortunately, It is Neglected. This hotel is unfortunately a pure one. In the bathroom is MOLD. The pillows on the armchairs have stains that could come from excretions, an armchair falls almost apart and on a couch are not identifiable, white spots that look very much like remnants of body fluids. At the reception there is a man in a jogging suit with a filthy top, who is not sufficiently master of the language and is overwhelmed with more than two Customers. Unfortunately there will be no reappearance here. Already a star is too Much.

This was one of the worst places I have stayed in in Austria. I travel a lot, but you are accustomed to see the kind of behaviour in Eastern Europe, but not in Austria. What happened? Basically this is a family run business and they should care about their clients. When I got into the reception area the father of the house noticed me, but instead of greeting me, he started a conversation with someone on the phone. As I speak German I could understand it was some family stuff and thought he would do the necessary and then hang up — WRONG. He had a 10 minute conversation full of laughs and just kept ignoring me. Then I got to the check-in procedure. As I was expecting the company credit card to arrive later that evening with my colleaue I told them that I would prefer to pay in the morning (I had it booked for two nights) — they completely disliked the idea and told me that I had to pay then and there. (And looked at me as if I was a thief). After a longer persuasion I was able to get a deal — I would have to pay later uff evening. Ufff Is this nightmare over? NO! Then I got into my room. I could not miss the dirty carpet on the way, but I thought that they might have just missed a spot. WRONG again. The room was cleaned up only formally and I think that my 6 year old cousin would be able to make a better job. Also my bed was broken and made very loud noises when I was turning around.

Good value for money, tiny parking lot.

Hotel has been booked via Booking. When you wanted to get an invoice for the stay at the reception, you got the info that you had to do the over Booking. But this is wrong! The hotel is legally obligated to make an invoice. Booking only serves as an intermediary. I've been trying to get a bill for two months NOW. Have contacted the accommodation several times. The customer service of booking has not been able to reach anything after repeated Orders. I've never seen anything like this before!

Unfortunately, I can't say anything about the condition of the hotel room. This has the following reason: Upon arrival at the hotel we were informed that there was a problem with our room. So we could not check into the room. Normally you will be notified of such problems from the hotel in advance — not here. We were assured that in another hotel a room was reserved for us. That was not the case, but more on that later.
In the replacement accommodation (Hotel Buona Vita Salzburg) arrived, almost hit us. The whole building smelled disgusting. There were dirty sheets and lots of rubbish on the floor everywhere. The building reminded me of a federal army accommodation. The reception staff spoke very poor German and was really unkempt. Then we were told that they did not receive a reservation from the Itzlinger Hauptstraße Hof. After a lot of back and forth, thank God, we decided to find a substitute accommodation for ourselves. After all, we spent the night at the Holidayin.
Through the whole, we really lost a lot of time, which we had actually planned for the city tour.
Everyone must be aware that the same thing can happen to him here. For my part, I would not want to take this risk again.
Just make sure you're safe and don't book at Itzlinger Hauptstraße Hof!

Keep your hands off me! We had booked two rooms. In the morning we were able to check in after a long search for an employee only for one. The second is still in evidence. We were able to leave our luggage in a room. The key for the second room should be in the first room in the evening. We already had the key for this. At 8 pm unsuccessfully by phone the reception tries to reach whether everything worked out. 21 o'clock then arrived at the hotel. Reception still not busy. On the way to the room we find our luggage unguarded in the middle of the hallway. In the room where our luggage was originally placed had a family checked in by now…

I do not know which foreign gang bought this hotel but it is not recommended at all! The restaurant, which was still top three years ago, has been around for two years and the overall impression is getting worse! A great bow to make this hotel!

When we arrived at the hotel we were told that there were problems with our room and they reserved us a room at another hotel. There must be no such thing. We could have been informed beforehand! This has been a lot of time lost. The other hotel (Buona Vita) was a disaster! Unfortunately I can not rate with 0.

The service was very bad. Old, creaky beds; The sink is in the bedroom, the shower is in the "closet"; Bad smelling sausage and fruit salad with garlic aroma for breakfast… a hotel to get used to, luckily only 1 night for a visit to the fair…
Unfortunately there are no negative stars, the worst hotel I have ever visited.

Unfortunately it was a bad experience. Bad reception or better disastrous, I think from the owner's son.
Very ugly room with hair on the mattress cover, and dirty everywhere.
We paid the bill before we were in the rooms, since we were in ten people.
Our sixteen-month-old daughter slept in a dump for one night.
I think the name of the hotel has been ruined by the new property. First it was more than good.
I should make an endless list of what was not right.
The only positive notes are: the proximity to the centre including the bus stop next door, and the girl who receives the reception in the morning.
It is the first time I write a review, but I am obliged to do so.

Very Bad experience! Some rooms are just dirty, others are Topaie! The staff is not entirely prepared and professional!

Contra: Not good breakfast, bad reception, way too many unknown people It gets badly cleaned up, Pro: Good Wlan, nice neighbor, nice staff.

Nice and cozy hotel with good ambience. Very quiet and beautiful place.

Owner is an Ottoman with his criminal son. The small hotel is located in a foreigner's district. When I arrived, the owner stood with his son and police outside the entrance and there was a loud altercation between them. I didn't know that they belonged to the hotel and went to the reception. None were there. I waited a few minutes and then they came in and the police, the father said loudly to the policemen that he does not need the son and are supposed to take him and arrest him. But he had to promise to send them an evidence or photos and was allowed to stay in the hotel. But they threatened him if they didn't get this, there will be dire consequences for him. I didn't really understand what it was about. After that I checked in, I told the owner my name and he gave me 3 times the wrong registration slip for the local tax. It has to be said that his German is enough for basic information. After that he immediately demanded the money from me and it was more expensive than booked. The only thing that was quite fine, the room. But this was a horror stay. Bay there not!

Inexperienced reception … breakfast a lot off. No staff reached over an hour nor by phone. Room all right. Trained staff heavy by hardships.

Not the best experience poor reception staff member who was more interested in his phone than serving customers. Unhelpful when room was not what we expected. Bed comfortable and breakfast alright.

After a hot week in Innsbruck I reserved an air conditioned room with parking for my family. The room was not air conditioned, there was a half empty bottle of water on the table, and I was told the parking lot was full so I should park on the adjacent street. The only way to cool the ground level room was to open the window which opened directly into the hotel's small but busy car park area. Every person in the car park could see directly into the room and when they talked it sounded as if they were in the room.

Booked a room, received confirmation, informed of late arrival, arrived-all closed. No messages were received. Just scoundrels. Had to look for another hotel.

Comfortable room. Nice staff. Lovely breakfast. Very conveniently on the public bus line path. Quieter area of town.

Location, private parking. Clean. As for the restaurant, little choice and high price in relation to the quality.

Unfortunately even Mieserables food, not to recommend!

Solid hotel. Quite traditional. Friendly staff and good value. Good access to town via bus.

Very well maintained, rooms are spacious, very extensive Breakfast buffet. The staff is very helpful.
