The sympathetic crew really does everything for a pleasant stay. Very good beds, nice room facilities, good breakfast for a good start to the day. You get good tips for excursions, and can enjoy a good Austrian cuisine in the attached restaurant. So, everything is fine. Thank you for everything, see you.

Very nice hotel + good service, however you have to beware of the parking lot.
The colleague explicitly tells you that the parking space is free (+ it is also on the page) but you will be charged 5 € per night on departure.
In the end, it is not a lot of money but still an impudence when actually things that are marketed as free are charged.
What a pity.

Great food… during lock down for five weeks, I have eaten lunch here nine times, and the food has been consistently great every time… it’s been boxed up and delivered too, so really it’s a double compliment to be consistently good nine times in a row on a takeaway / delivery service is actually phenomenal! The restaurant must be without a doubt one of the best kitchens in the city of zell am see. I’ve added a couple of snaps of the food! Vegetarian menu wonderful, and the classic Austrian dishes spot on! Order a takeaway or when they reopen eat in, it is a guaranteed HIT.

The price for a week in peak season was great,, the service from all the staff was impeccable.
The location is also a big plus, will stay there again.

Refurbished rooms are lovely. Beds v comfortable. Bathroom great with a lovely bath much needed after skiing.

the only downside to the hotel is that there is nowhere to sit and relax in the evenings, to have a drink and game of cards although the website makes it look as if there is. As a group we missed this and it spoiled our holiday a bit. For all it's good points we would not have booked the hotel had we have known this.

Almost everything was excellent. The central location, friendly staff, a big room and bathroom, cleaneles. The breakfast was brilliant. The dinner was good. Sauna and rest area were sometime crowded.

What a wonderful stay we had. Staff were so friendly, we had a fantastic meal New Years Eve. The hotel is spotless and modern. Family run hotel serving amazing food. Thanks for making our holiday special.

We stayed for 4 nights in the hotel and were thrilled. Great staff, nice rooms, good breakfast and there was always a vegetarian dish to choose from at dinner (along with two excellent classic main courses). Happy to return!

We spent there 3 nights and we enjoyed that time so much… rented e-bikes from hotel were awesome. Only fridge on the room was missing:)

We had a lovely stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful, food excellent and rooms really clean. Definately worth staying at this hotel as it is central in Zell am See for activities and site seeing.

Great value hotel in a very central location only walking distance to the main ski lift. Food was excellent and all the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel and I will stay there again. ⛷

Good breakfast. When it rains outside, you can take an umbrella from the hotel. For those who come to Ironman, the rooms have a separate room where you can place a bike. The underground four-level car park was filled to capacity this time. The hotel offers cycling.

Only eaten here, with the family, it's pretty awesome food and I highly recommend the chicken salad.

I loved the place, the room is perfect, great service and great staff. Same for the location, walking from here you can reach a lot of good places, restaurants and sure the lake.

Great 3 stars hotel the reception lady was good in 5 minuets I checked in parked my car four nights for free the location is great the room is clean the breakfast is more than enough.

Were here for dinner. White sausages and bratwurst from our own production as well as homemade Kaiserschmarrn. All very tasty! Is also comfortably located in the pedestrian zone, so you can linger and watch the hustle and bustle.

Central location, rooms very cozy and clean!
Breakfast room also very cozy and the offer large and varied. The dinner, consisting of several courses, was a delight for the palate.
Car spaces in front of the hotel or in underground parking were free.
Staff were friendly and helpful throughout.

Worst place ever… paid 14 euros for whisky. Got 5 euros worth of bourbon…

I booked the midweek special including a 4 day lift pass and a four-course-menu. It was cheap and I enjoyed the stay. Great dinner and breakfast and…

It is an excellent hotel located in the center of Zell am See with perfect access to the ski slopes either by walking to the XCity express or by car to the other stations. The hotel staff is very helpful and courteous, service is excellent, the breakfast and diner wonderful. Free parking is provided on site. Rooms are spacious and very clean. Very recommended.

The hotel is located directly on the pedestrian area. To the disadvantage that the noise level is high. Since the hotel does not have air conditioning (therefore 4stars) you have to close the windows at night or sleep with stoppers. The breakfast and service are good. The free parking garage is very cramped.
The place itself is beautiful but flooded with Arabs. At least every second touri comes from this room. And I must honestly say that I do not feel comfortable between the fully veiled.

Overpriced — and avoid the breakfast. We had an apartment, which was essentially sofa beds in a kitchen/dining area with a separate double bedroom. When we checked in I am convinced they said that breakfast was €5. However, we were charged €15, including my teenage girls. Not even sure that it was worth €5 though.

Excellent location in the centre of Zell am See. Reasonable value for money considering location, with food and drink also affordable. The staff were excellent and especially helpful when we experienced a motorcycle breakdown whilst in their garage. We needed recovery to a Honda dealer and the staff, especially Karl, were extremely helpful and supportive. Would recommend a room in the newer building and would ask for a quiet room, given the central location. Would certainly use again and no hesitation in recommending the facilities and staff.

There is something in the Zell am See and something in Grüner Baum what turns me always back to this great place. The hotel is nice, staff great and location best you could imagine, nevermind what's in the mind — ski, golf or hiking in mountains. Worth to discovering!

Nice rooms But breakfast is unfortunately only from 7:30, so if you want to bike in the morning to the bell, it is not ideal.

The Hotel itself is clean, modern — but unfortunately quite noisy. This fact in itself, I would still not convince, it only with 2 stars rate. But unfortunately we made the mistake of HP to book. The food was under all cannon (a cheek, what the menu's rant may, one day, a soup with counted 12 of noodles, an average chicken thigh with rice and a Mini Dessert afterwards, I had time only to Hunger; the next day, a lukewarm soup with no taste, tough goulash (with today in the teeth depends) with aqueous Spätzle and not done baked Apple strudel. ). The Service has also left much to be desired left. On 2. Evening we had more to eat and were then more or less thrown out, because a Christmas party took place. Clearly, because disturbing the guests pretty. I would never go again or if they do, then definitely no HP.

Very clean, modern apartments with all what the heart desires. The Hotel Grüner Baum Zell am see is very centrally located. Absolutely recommended. We will definitely be back.

Amazing family run hotel nice old style bar and nice refreshing rooms will help with any thing bang in the middle so easy to go pubs and ski lift.
