➜ We had a great 3 days in Bad Gastein and were welcomed very, very warmly. The staff is friendly, the rooms neat, the 3-course menu plentiful and okay and the way to the ski resorts easy. Johanna and Anders are great hosts — dear greetings Matthias Wandl — your real estate agent in Hadern.

Summer in Bad Gastein? Here is the best hotel! Ski Lodge Jaktman is a well-run small hotel run by the Jaktman family. We were two couples who checked in for a week and with Anders' personal involvement we had tailor-made suggestions on where we could hike, cycle and dine. Since the hotel is not that big, it felt very homely and cozy. Good breakfast, we could get both gluten-free and lactose-free (good to ask in advance). Very clean rooms, nice balcony and beautiful mountain views. Good parking for the car, bus stop outside the house making it easy to take the bus to Sportgastein, Bad Gastein and Bad Hofgastein. We want to give them the warmest recommendations!
