Very good food and nice guest rooms!

We were on Saturday for our wedding dinner at the steinerwirt and were completely satisfied! the table was very nicely covered, the guest garden is great, the food very good, the staff very friendly! so everything is top! we felt absolutely at home! Thank you!

Food is great and very reasonable in price, the rooms clean and beautifully made, however, the rooms and the corridors are already a bit older. Renovations are currently under way, however (you don't hear anything at all) good location to come to Salzburg.

The guest garden is pleasant. We were served quickly, the food was excellent. Prices are reasonable. We'll go back there soon.

Great hotel for a great price. The breakfast was very good and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was quite large and clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. If anyone wants to go public, it should be noted that on the weekend the last bus leaves at 19:25 from the Salzburg Hauptbahnhof.

We had a wonderful time at the Steinerwirt! You feel directly in the rooms, the staff is very friendly and above all the food is great! All around there are many beautiful lakes, is close to Salzburg and who like to walk is also correct. We definitely come again :-)

I definitely recommend Steinerwirt! The best food, the friendliest faces, and don't even get me started on the view! No matter what room you get, you're guaranteed a mountain view! I loved the variety of the breakfast buffet they have. Also being an English native speaker it was so nice knowing that there is someone there who speaks English. No messy language barriers! The only downside of my stay was that I had to leave, I will certainly be returning!

A great restaurant with wonderful views and excellent food. The meat is from their own production and the ingredients of the best quality. Lovingly tended to food, the wonderful atmosphere of the cosy rooms and the cheerful and friendly, cordial behaviour of the staff loads every time on the New to feel Comfortable and Enjoy. Delightfully fresh cuisine with meat from the farm, it is always a pleasure to eat here to go. The friendly Service in this family run business is a matter of course. For me it is in this cosy restaurant also no Problem, if in the rush the preparation of my food takes a little longer, Fresh takes time.

Love Love Love! In three words. However I need to write more so people understand the beauty of this place. Located in a divine area of Austria, mountainous with fresh air seemingly for miles on end, this is the perfect place to simply GET AWAY! Family, friends, doesn't matter, this spot is one that I will definitely return to, because the week long stay was not enough. From the delightful owners showing us around and taking the time to make us feel at home, to the wonderful 'soul food' that kept our tummies filled and warm. The rooms were very cozy — great to come back too after a day filled with activities that take you back to memories as a kid. Meaning FUN. I was barely on my phone during this holiday, and that in itself is something that's mind boggling. It was sooo good to simply disconnect. Cloud nine throughout this trip. Thank you to all that made it possible, from the staff to the friendly locals. We will see you soon.

What a great Inn! Cosy atmosphere, very friendly Service, super price-performance ratio… only to recommend! The nice thing is, that, while good home can eat everything but a little jazzed up and the quality of the food is outstanding! The meat comes mostly from own production… where can you get that nowadays!?! We were thrilled to come very gladly again!

Steinerwirt truly gave me a wonderful experience! Filled with smiles and kind service, and don't even get me started on the food! The Spinat Knödel was my absolute favorite from here. Really you can‘t go wrong with what you choose, though. Also, the wonderful outside seating made it perfect for the spring day I enjoyed there. Not to mention the beautiful inside, and the wonderful breakfast buffet! They truly made my vacation better with the accommodating staff and beautiful scenery! This is one American who will definitely be coming back and telling her friends.

We have a half-site eaten. The menu and the kitchen is in the time stopped, the quality is even halfway passable. The Backendl was indeed good, but it was too little of it on the plate. The Dessert we could have saved us. Disappointing.

This was fantastic guest house in the Austrian Alps, lovely rooms, friendly service, good restaurant for all meals, and absolutely pretty.
Some of it built in 1600's, but all facilities fresh and modern.
Recommend this to anyone.
Would love to see the area in winter! We used it as a base to visit Salzberg, Berchtesgaden and Koenigsee.
