Wonderful place to live a cozy WE. Luxurious rooms, lovely staff, outstanding food, great stocked wine cellar and wonderful spa/pool.

The Economy Elixhausers, described as cosy feel-good rooms, are soberly furnished business rooms — at almost the same price as the much nicer double rooms Standard Ursprung, a bitter disappointment. No air conditioning-ugly standing fan in the bathroom, little or no functioning ventilation in the bathroom
As a festival guest, you hardly have the opportunity to enjoy the restaurant. Arrival possible from 14h — afternoon menu modest (sausages and schnitzel, tomato pasta)
In the evening after the festival only a "selection" as the kitchen is closed from 21.30. Unfortunately, this is not possible before that.
Our feelings of romanticism were limited.

It was really a wonderful weekend — stay. The staff is super friendly, the wellness and sauna area is very nice and modernly furnished and everything is kept meticulously clean. The culinary offer is also excellent All in all, the Romantik Spa Hotel Elixhauser Wirt has more than earned its 4

I was in this 4 star superior hotel for the first time and I was very disappointed. We have a room for 340 euros incl. Breakfast! This room was old without balcony, dark and in the bathroom the joints at the shower (there you still have to shower in the bathtub) black! Then we complained and got a slightly better room. You could have done a lot of good things here with a small gesture like a glass of prosecco as a small excuse. Unfortunately, that was not the case; (

I am very surprised by their answer, because they had 4 days to give us a little attention! We complained to them again on departure, but nothing came of it either! I can't imagine that in Austria you also have monument protection in the rooms! Even if this was the festival season, this price is by no means justified for such a room, that in our opinion is "rip-off". I come from Bayreuth and we also have festival time, but they will not find such a room with us!

During my many nights in the hotel there was never a complaint. Here you know every guest and show lived Austrian hospitality at every step. I was always looking forward to the rich breakfast in the vaulted cellar, the best basis for successful business in Salzburg. But also the preparations from the upscale, modern cuisine with traditional specialties are to be emphasized.

Absolutely top! All clean and beautiful! Location of course a bit remote but you are hopefully aware of this when booking!

Absolutely top is the staff! The friendliness at the highest level, that goes from the maid to the waiter to the reception!
Breakfast is available until 11 a. M. And even at 11:15 you don't get the feeling that you are undesirable!

Restaurant absolutely recommended, but in a hotel of this price range you should be able to expect that the soup spoon and the fork do not have any dried food leftovers from the preuser. The spa area is so far OK, but it is annoying that the magnet on the Saunatüre does not keep the door closed during infusion or with the towel wagging and you have to constantly pull the door again.
Those who are not well on foot should inform the hotel before booking. In the old hotel building are the paths long and to the upper rooms without elevator. So you have to haul your luggage over a lot of stairs. Fühstücksbüffet corresponds to a hotel of this price range. Extra costs for drinks are quite expensive.

Heated pool. Saunas in the better rooms and honeycombs at the breakfast buffet. Amazing that it has only 5 stars.

Very nice hotel with fantastic breakfast. A special highlight is the spa area with indoor pool. Beware of arrival, there is a hotel of the same name in the neighbouring village.

Very nice atmosphere and very friendly staff. Unfortunately extremely expensive in the restaurant and very small portions. Eat average.

Fantastic Hotel set in the green hills of austria. Good wellness centre with a swimming pool on the third floor of the modern structure. You seem to swim towards the empty space… 4-star restaurant staff. Try.

With the room overlooking the street and so noisy from 5h I can not say I had a good stay unaired and small size room for a 4 star!
Buffet breakfast very well provided and restoration of good qualities but maybe a bit expensive!

Also I liked in January, the three days at the hotel very much. The rooms (in the newer part) were very large and first class furnished and well accessible by the tunnel in cold weather. The breakfast room + services were really the hammer.

Perfect. The rooms are very prepared for guests and breakfast/dinner is very good. Only downside is the limited food choices for the dinner.

Very relaxing spa area and nice rooms if you are in the new part of the hotel. We got upgraded as well and enjoyed our stay even more including a dinner in their restaurant.

The waiter at the bar is just incredible. After the last round was proclaimed he forgets several drinks and does not see a also have to prepare. He don't get a room number wrong in the settlement and says is still this is annoying for him, if the customers incorrectly say the number.
Very unfriendly. That spoils a really nice experience. What a pity.

To enjoy a wonderful hotel to relax and nature in Salzburg. We took advantage of the stay not only to relax, but were also active. Thanks to the great reviews of the hotel staff, we were located in very nice places only a stone's throw from Elixhausen and took advantage of the generous wellness area to relax after hiking and cycling.
The hotel, the friendly staff and the sporting and cultural offer in and around Salzburg, make this hotel so special.

We were on the last weekend (21-23 2 2014) at the Romantik Hotel Gmachl.
Well, and what can we say? Consistently 5 star — if not more.
Whether in the spa area in the hood kitchen, at the reception or in the rooms: all the staff are super friendly and very committed to the well-being of the guests.
We were completely satisfied! This hotel is definitely worth a visit!
We were weekend refreshed and satisfied as to some other week holiday after just one!

Who a stay at Romantik Hotel would like to afford for a detour in the country butcher Gmachl is still advisable.
How everywhere in the Gmachl home meets the old tradition of the Auswaidens the modern charm of mobile phone shops.
At the butcher's, at least all at your expense, which is there to buy a Briefmarkerl and carefully licking it come. To the noble meat loaf bread there is only an unfriendly sausage engineer, which at most one room prices except for a subtle taste experience.

The food and service are excellent.
You can tell all employees enjoy working in the Gmachl. A great
Family-run, and so we were treated.
We had the room in the new building. Everything clean and the bathroom was good size.

Our stay at the Romantik hotel Gmachl was very relaxing and very comfortable. We occupied a Suite in the Klosterhoftrakt and this was fantastically decorated, very large, with a luxurious bathroom and a wonderful picture window. The ladies at the reception were very, very hard and, in General, one could feel that in this house the guest in the first place! You will be kindly treated — the culinary delights to be in the house is top class. The Spa is also very nice. The location is also very good, because you quickly in the city of Salzburg. Overall this house as we have experienced it at any time recommend.
