Perfect short stay (4 days of enjoyment. Hiking) in Friedersbach in the Faulenzerhotel. It was perfect from arrival to departure. The breakfast buffet really leaves nothing to be desired. The four-course dinner menu every day fantastic. The staff of the reception, the restaurant service and housekeeping very friendly and accommodating. They really try to fulfill every wish. We will certainly come back to the beautiful Faulenzerhotel in Friedersbach at some point.

Very good kitchen with local products, we visited on Easter Monday the Easter brunch at the lazy hotel and were spoiled with a delicious Buffet. The Team and his boss was very anxious to all guests! We will definitely come back again.

Is absolutely successful weekend! Wanted time with my wife a weekend to reload the internal batteries. As Wellness or Sightseeing to degenerate, often in a senseless leisure stress, we were again on the search for an Alternative. It should be fairly close. Loafers the hotel, there was a super tip. Culinary absolutely spoiled, family-friendly atmosphere, a lot of doing nothing, decelerated corrugated food … all great.

My husband and I were there for a romantic Valentine's Day dinner. The staff was very accommodating and polite. Even if the furniture is no longer the latest, everything else was all the better. The 5 course menu was excellent and left nothing to be desired. I can recommend every meal there with good conscience.

The team from the restaurant and the kitchen have given us an unforgettable Valentinsdinner. The 5 course menu was super arranged and perfectly prepared. The attentive service has perfectly rounded off the evening. Would love to come back.

I don't understand the negative reviews at all! We are often in 4 or 5 star hotels and the Lazy Hotel is no more! We had booked the Silvesterpackage and were accommodated in the non-refurbished room! It was clean and spacious! The sauna was a dream: clean, loving accessories, tea — and waterbar. Ample breakfast buffet… the afternoon snack went as a 3Gängmenü, again tea and water for free removal. Evening Menu Very good! New Year's Eve menu was very good (even exquisite)! The service was very hard to put the right people on a table! Managed! I was almost irritated by the negative reviews and had spoiled the anticipation… completely unfounded! Great Hotel! Great food! Great service! Thanks for the nice time! Happy to be back!

Nice, friendly staff at the reception, in the restaurant something "lazy"… breakfast buffet good and plentiful, dinner and afternoon snack very good. Wellness area nice and cozy, room a little small… especially the bad tiny… the worst, however, were the mattresses… like hammocks, lay through, finally I was charged the consumption of another room… unfortunately noticed too late, but, according to the information, I am refunded.

Cozy, but partly in need of refurbishment Hotel. The staff is very nice and tried hard. The Breakfast buffet is ok, but nothing special. The 4-course menu in the evening but very tasty, also the afternoon snack is a nice Extra. The Spa area is small but fine. In the basement there is table tennis (free of charge), as well as Billiards and table football (charges apply), unfortunately, in the uncomfortable atmosphere between the Laundry room and heating pipes. In the surroundings there are very beautiful Hiking trails and gorgeous beaches at the lake Ottenstein. All in all, thoroughly worth a visit, even if some of the corners need improvement.

Fine accommodation with, presumably, a great dinner, the Breakfast, unfortunately, is not so impressive *even though* there was a lack of anything (smoked salmon or fruit salad). The main drawback for me is the price for a non-renovated little rooms with Breakfast in an otherwise rather favourable Region, and the interference when Lounging around (hanging to little mats, for example, or the noisy vacuum cleaner at 8 in the morning in the neighboring room).

Very nice Hotel, with friendly Service. The room (#116) was clean and also the "lazy zone" was beautifully maintained.

Where should I start, we had booked a hiking package, but immediately after the room cover we would have preferred to leave immediately. Category A worde told us "newly renovated" of it was no trace in room 302! Wc tiles dirty after reporting at the reception the cleaning lady came and found the hand plate-sized dirt stain on the flies did not show it as had to show it, on the door frame were sticky stains and on the wall were cobwebs! In addition 4stars I would imagine the room and washing area more comfortable. Wellness oasis is the wrong word for this area: dirty dusty floor tiles, stained pads for the loungers do not invite you to relax. Dinner: after the appetizer was an unagreed waiting time of more than half an hour after asking if we were forgotten came the soup. The main course came very fast but almost cold and withered. No excuse for the lenge waiting time!
Breakfast: cold egg dish, cold cracked sausages, the bacon was hard-fried and almost black. The egg cups were dirty, the leftovers from the previous day were still on it!
Then we went to the reception and reported these defects and that we leave early, this was accepted without comment the bill made no apology or any other commentary. So we left annoyed. We can't even find a small thing that justifies 4 stars, and certainly nothing that would make us come back!

VERY nice staff at reception, in the Restaurant, less likely, a lawn for sunbathing is very nice and quiet, good Breakfast, rooms and Spa area are OK, point of criticism: from "the idler hotel" awaits you to rest and relax, while dinner sat in close proximity to 9 (! ) screaming toddlers and two kläffende dogs — the noise level was absolutely unbearable. I know, because the Hotel can only be due to something (game corner in the middle of the Restaurant), but the relaxation was just there!

Nice staff, very quiet, clean but no longer renovated rooms. Good location for cycling trips, various castles are also very easy to reach by car.

Breakfast was very rich and great. Super! Unfortunately, the night was not good. In the room it was incredibly hot and you couldn't ventilate, because it stank the whole night very much after the fire! Otherwise it was okay. The room and bathroom clean with all the things you need.

We spent four nights at the hotel, the staff was very friendly and the food excellent. The room however had no more than 3 star level, despite separate bathroom and toilet. The bathroom was very small, two people could only with difficulty — though lean — to stop and the storage options for bathroom amenities were very limited. The room decor was slightly antiquated, the wardrobe had an open area for hanging garments without doors, also Wi-Fi worked in the room does not. The indoor pool was nothing exciting, was also very small, sauna was ok, but very small. If you later came to breakfast, the buffet was often somewhat empty, eg. No eggs, although only relatively few guests were present. On the whole, we were relatively satisfied, wouldn't give any four star hotel but.

For *** Hotel I would give full score, but for **** Hotel I need to drop down. Rooms are small, shower is small, generally rooms are old need some renovation, missing coffee pot on room … Luckily food was delicious.

I've read some reviews for the hotel, interesting ways. We got rooms 101 (standard), with 25 square meter room is just standard. Since the hotel is large, necessarily a room away choose from the street, because 101 is really loud. That's right, a bit in the years come hotel (carpet, curtains) bed and furniture quite ok, bath with half open shower in order and then the old and ugly mirror. Also in the wellness area there the rollercoaster of impressions. Swimming pool and sunbathing area around very nice relaxation room small, fully… not acceptable. Sauna and steam room small.
Restaurant: the recommendation is simple. The bodenständiger the better. Grammelknödel dumplings with sauerkraut really good flying duck breast. … bad. Kasnocken great, Chanterelle good but already a few days into the tube.
CONCLUSION: If you are coming with normal expectation (rating 3.5 points) you will not be disappointed, the 4.5 are too much of a good. And in many places the possibility there, to raise standards, that should be used then came reach the 4 points.

Have to our wedding day a wonderful weekend in Faulenzerhotel spent. Very clean, well maintained and comfortable, excellent cuisine, warm unobtrusive staff, generous attitude of the owner's family in all aspects (no extra charges for all sorts of Extras! ). In any case recommended.

Simply a feel good oasis with friendly staff and excellent cuisine (CARP in Mohnpannier. Tasty! ).
