JUFA Hotel Annaberg

Many guests describe the staff as exceptionally friendly, responsive, and attentive, especially the reception employees. Promptness in resolving issues is noted, such as assistance with booking errors or the quick arrangement of a shower seat for a guest in a wheelchair. However, there are contrasting reviews: some visitors encountered rudeness from staff in the kitchen and buffet area, as well as unfriendly behavior from one of the reception employees.

Breakfasts are served as a buffet and are described as rich and high-quality, suitable for both adults and children. The menu includes gluten-free options, vegan alternatives, and plant-based milk. Nevertheless, some guests criticize the breakfasts for the lack of fresh eggs (using a Tetra Pak mixture), the absence of bananas, and excessively long queues at the coffee machine. The cost of breakfast (19 euros) seemed overpriced to some visitors.

Half-board is available at the hotel with buffet-style dinners. The selection of dishes is diverse, featuring gluten-free options and dishes for vegetarians, although some guests complain about the limited vegetarian menu. According to some guests, dinners are child-oriented (nuggets, french fries) and sometimes suffer in quality: mentions include dishes that are not hot enough, the use of semi-finished products, and a lack of regional produce. There have also been complaints regarding the incompetence of kitchen staff regarding vegan diets.

Guest opinions on the sleeping arrangements are divided. Some find the rooms cozy and comfortable, while others complain that the mattresses and pillows are excessively firm. In particular, it was mentioned that single beds can be too narrow and hard. A concern was also noted regarding the safety of bunk beds for active children.

Most guests rate the rooms as clean, modern, and well-maintained. However, there are complaints about insufficient thoroughness in cleaning: mentions include dust in corners, unemptied trash bins in the bathroom, and toys or cigarette butts left by previous guests on balconies. Common areas and corridors are generally rated positively.

The hotel has a wellness area with a sauna, which guests describe as small but clean and pleasant. Free tea is provided in the sauna. Some visitors note that the sauna is a great place to relax after an active day, although one guest mentioned a broken water heating kettle.

The hotel features a very large and convenient ski room located just a few meters from the slope. The storage area is well-heated, making it very practical for skiers.

The hotel is ideal for families with children and offers a vast number of activities. For children, there is a playroom, a water play area (Splish-Splash), a climbing wall (Kraxlstubn), a large sports hall for football and activities, as well as an outdoor motor skills park and playground. Guests appreciate the availability of board games and the popcorn machine. Some note that some equipment in the play area may be broken or incomplete.

The soundproofing in the hotel is rated negatively. Guests note high noise levels throughout the building, which may cause discomfort during their stay.
