Beautiful hotel and restaurant decorated in an old-fashioned style. Excellent cuisine, good service. No special waiting times at all, as others write! The bathroom is very large. I can't understand the horror stories of others at all! All-round recommended.

As always in Austria, the staff is super friendly. The hotel itself feels like a time capsule of the last century. Everything is nicely maintained and clean, the furniture and decorations slightly soppy, but in a charming way. Considering the fair price for what you get, the missing AC in summer and the noise from both the road and the train yard make this still an okay stay. Parking in front of the building available. A real upside is the attached restaurant. Even though the meals have to be paid on top (but very reasonable prices), especially the garden restaurant is really nice.

Nice atmosphere, Good drinks, good service, beautiful garden. When then female boss enters the room it feels like room temperature decreases by 10°C.

Very long waiting time on the food (up to 1, 5 hrs) and a little friendly staff, which is difficult to understand. Cheap Eastern Bloc staff.

Abiente is very cheesy but with style. The food is best. The only thing that bothered me was the long waiting times. I have waited an hour for the food as it is just too long. Also on the drinks you had to wait about 10 minutes which is incomprehensible to me.

Nice decoration for Christmas. But unfortunately very poor operation. Went back after 10 minutes.

Staff not to exceed unfriendliness. The soup arrived after about 1 hour, the main course 30 min later and the salad arrived as we were already finished with the food. Was our first and at the same time our last visit there.

Report from April 2014: A professional appointment led me to lunch at the Garden Hotel, not far from the station in St. Valentin. The area is short parking zone, but there is ample parking space.
The rear room can best be described as decoratively overloaded. Walls, chests of drawers, even the table decorations: Everything is very extensively decorated on the subject of sea/fishing. Except for us, only one table was occupied that day.
The menu included good bourgeois Austrian cuisine with seasonal specialities, unfortunately I can not remember the fish dishes. The Bärlauchtaschen that match the season have tasted very well, so it is no longer important that the soup was forgotten.
Conclusion: Good cuisine in an interesting, extensive ambience!

I can only talk about the restaurant. I was eating with my girlfriend for my 18th birthday here and I have to say that the food here is for the crowd you get a real eye candy. The price is unfortunately a bit high.

The hotel has a very particular design style, quite a bit kitsch and takes some time getting used to. The staff is friendly and they have restaurant menus in all languages possible. Good value for the price, but I wouldn't recommend staying more than a couple if nights.

Very nicely decorated hotel. The honeymoon suite, if you can get it, is spectacular. Food is very good in the hotel's restaurant. The only downside is that it's a bit close to the train tracks and trains passing through can be heard at night.

Summary of the Evening: waiting times of longer than 2h Incompetence no matter what aspect of the restaurant is considered. A little salad as a ornament on playful dishes tried by the extremely small portions deflect, which is in line with the bad and improperly prepared dishes to the Disappointment of the Evening. Any suggestions or even complaints will be quickly cashed. The price/performance ratio should be better to displace. I rate of a local visit heavily from should not be a ton of disappointment reinplanen.

The restaurant keeps what it promises! : — (Guest garden looks very nice at first glance. ) Cable out at second glance, insulation material is evident, crumbling plaster and the service is plate good ausgeslastet with wearing each one and also otherwise rather awkwardly. This impression is combined with a look at the menu, one can not really imagine, how come these prices. The "right" food is then first on the table, you should start the whole thing with humor to take, otherwise you would have to get up and go. The edges of the plates were consistently dirty and beautiful with a mixture of grease splashes and — lubricators. The soup had an indefinable stone bite, was highly unusual, the salad was anything but fresh (Brown edges and spots) and found himself in the Eierschwammerl the forest floor (beware falling rocks! ).
