We spontaneously decided to travel for New Year's Eve. We really wanted to go to the Alps and there weren't many options at such short notice, but as fate would have it, we ended up at Krispl Reitlhof. As the saying goes, spontaneous trips are the best. Great hosts, great surroundings, outstanding accommodation, breakfast very tasty and partly with fresh regional products. Lots of space for the children and lots of animals to pet and feed. We didn't miss anything and the area around Salzburg can be reached quickly by car. We would like to thank the hosts and will definitely come back. This was our second time there. Like the first time, it was just great. Great hosts, great accommodation, children were allowed to help feed the cows and clean, which was really fun and you also learned something new. Great location if you want to explore the area around Salzburg and Hallein. Thumbs up and hopefully see you.

We enjoyed our holiday on the farm in the mountains and would love to come back.
Our highlight was that we were able to pet the baby cats, which were only a few weeks old, and also enjoy homemade bread.

We decided on a very spontaneous 2-day short trip to the Salzburger Land and came across the Reitlhof accommodation during our research. We quickly contacted the very friendly landlady to make an inquiry. Despite the short notice of arrival, the landlady prepared everything with dedication and we were able to fall into the very comfortable beds after our arrival at night.
The very clean accommodation offers enough space for 2 adults and 2 children. It has a balcony from which you can enjoy the view of the mountains, unfortunately we had no view during our stay due to the weather. : (
We ordered breakfast from the landlady and were surprised every morning with delicious regional products.
Above all, the homemade currant juice was incredibly delicious.
The location of the farm is wonderfully quiet at 1000 meters. We had around 50cm of fresh snow when we arrived and the road that leads to the farm is not cleared at night. All-wheel drive was an advantage here.
We were able to charge our electric vehicle on site and were provided with sledges and bobsleds for the children free of charge.
The kids were thrilled by the cows, goats, free-roaming rabbits and cats.
All in all a relaxing, lovely stay. Hopefully next time there will be sunshine :)
