This was the second time we had stayed at the Hotel Alte Post in St Anton and it did not let us down. We went for a long weekend.

Just had a week at the Hotel Alte Post with friends and family. The whole experience was excellent. The rooms are of a high standard, the food was amazing and the staff/service are fantastic.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Fantastic location. Rooms were clean. Beer in the bar were good. What’s else could you want. 👍

Wonderful stay. Quick walk to all of the lifts, restaurants, and bars. Right in the heart of the activity. Comfortable room, nice amenities, great breakfast and beer bar on site.

There’s a class of good quality family run hotels in Austria that encourages long stays and repeat visits. The Schwarzer Adler is one of these.

As good as ever, the Schwarzer Adler never disappoints. The rooms are great, and very convenient with adjoining ability with children.

Great budget option in St Anton. I’ve been coming to St Anton since my college days and have observed a steady rise in hotel prices over time.

It's an excellent hotel. Very comfortable, excellent staff, on-site parking, ski ski out. Bianca, Bobo and their team make you feel very welcome. Nothing is too much trouble.

We went with a group of 18 people and we could not have had a better time. The hotel was clean and had all of the amenities you would want for a ski trip.

The hotel has an excellent location, right at the base of the ski slope, with the lift and ski rental very close by, which makes it extremely convenient for skiing.

St Anton is an expensive place, this hotel offers a great location,, cosy rooms, decent breakfast at a reasonable price, Stefan is a wonderful host who is happy to answer questions and provide help.

We dined here as a family of 3 one Evening. Schnitzel was superb, My Son had the Trout and I had the Greek Salad. Service friendly and prompt, and we were welcomed as non-locals.

The duvet cover was intended for people of 1.50 m, inside there was a duvet of 2 m.

Very clean and well-equipped rooms. Everything was brand new maple wood. Rich breakfast and nice operators who also gave us advice for our hike.

Arrived soaking after being caught in rain after the fabulous hike over Schnarnitzjoch to a lovely warm welcome.

Gasthof Schmalzerhof is a fantastic place to stay! The location is great, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the breakfast is excellent.
