Super service and friendly staff. Eat super tasty and good portions. Priced gant normal for sölden.

Dining there second season. Started going there because it was the closest place to our chalet, but after trying other places in the village ended up going there almost every evening. Its nice cozy place with friendly staff, spacious enough so even when its crowdy you still enjoy their tasty dishes with comfort. Menu is good, it's not any kind of big menu with countless different plates, but it includes the basic traditional cuisine and we never felt out of choice about "what should we order today". I cant really suggest any special plate, they all are outstanding. The quantity (essential when you spent 7 non-stop hours racing on the slopes) is exactly what was expected and the prices are about the average for the village, maybe even a bit cheaper. Also, essential for me thing, service is fast, you start eating within minutes after your order. Definitely going to dine there again the coming season!

We have been here several times with large group dinners. The food was always really good. In spite of the many people we all got the food in a timely manner.

The rooms were nice, but they promised that everyone would get a refurbished room. But only 2 out of 3 got one!
You didn't get a new one. Not very nice.
So 3 half stars!

Food is delicious there and prices are reasonable. Make a reservation for the dinner because it is usualy full during ski season.

Were a guest at the restaurant for dinner. Friendly reception and placement. The staff friendly and very attentive. The guest is served very respectfully. Had pork knuckles, but gave preordered what is desired!

At the edge of the village directly on the main road towards Timmelsjoch is the Hotel & Restaurant "Grauer Bär".
On the first floor, non-residents can also eat at noon (weekends and holidays only) or in the evening (daily).
The house is a mix of modern and frumpy. I had a place in the "Bärenstüberl", a kind of alpine hut in the restaurant. They can also be used for celebrations.
It was a bit cramped, but comfortable.
I have the "trio Tirol" made of spinach dumplings, cheese press dumplings and Steinpilzschlutzer with brown butter and parmesan "to €12, 90. A huge portion was that and delicious. But there was also a small portion and so much flexibility I find good.
A injected Marillensaft is available for €3, 50 (0, 5 L) and 1/8 Chardonnay-house wine for €4, 50.
The staff was very friendly and helpful.
There is no outside area, but since in the summer not much is open in Sölden I would definitely recommend a visit.

Nice classic style bar, calm with good seats. Restaurant quality was good. Traditional Austrian dishes and friendly service. Considering the entourage and quality of service, prices are a positive surprise.

We were recently in the Restaurant to eat and were pleasantly surprised. The welcome was warm and the entire Service Team is very friendly. The food was very good. Of traditional game dishes, over fish, on this menu you will find something. We have a leisurely evening in a great atmosphere spent and will definitely come again!

We recently stayed with several people for dinner in a Grey Bär in Sölden and have the evening really enjoyed it. The restaurant area is very cozy and furnished in a Tyrolean style. In the map you will find many typical dishes from the Region, but also international specialities. The staff was very friendly and the kitchen is super fast – will certainly come again happy. By the way, for Kids to find in the ground floor of a room, and thus were also the Little ones are in good hands. For us Bigger was in the hotel bar, then a nice finale …

Yesterday evening we were together in the Grey bears and wanted to eat dinner, this is already around 17:45. It was still nothing going on. Empty tables are set up on two, three finished. Since we were only two people, we were compelled at a table for two people to take place. This was in the dining room and right next to another Two-person table. Since there will be no other people in the room were, one of each Kaugeräusch the neighbours, such as with amplifier belongs. Conversations could from the neighbors without tiring mitangehört. A nice dinner, I imagine it differently. The waitress was on the ball, the food came promptly, and when the empty glass was immediately in demand. It all went very quickly. Since I wear my money rather in a different Restaurant (for example, into the Taste, where the operation friendlier and more responsive).

Was in last week as a guest at the Grey bears. Everything was very good, up to the Boss, the it is very of kindness abound. On my polite question about why there is no 100% juice for Breakfast would, I received the answer, then I would in a 5 star Hotel go. The sugary juice from the Zapfautomaten didn't taste nearly after a healthy drink. I could it, Yes, dilute with water, was the next cheeky answer to the Boss. I need those answers, not more.
