We were two at the Hotel Bergkristall in October 2021 and enjoyed a great holiday. The hotel is located in the immediate vicinity of the Hohe Tauern National Park and is very clean and well maintained. In addition to the great wellness area, the daily 5-course dinner menu (with half board) is particularly recommended. It was a culinary treat for us, which is so rare to find at half board. The entire team provides an excellent service and fulfills every wish. We felt totally comfortable and will definitely come back.

If you want to spend a great holiday in nature, this is the right place for you. This family-run hotel is located in the heart of the Hohe Tauern National Park in the centre of Mallnitz. Hospitality is very important here. Here the guest is king. The Sterz family makes everything humanly possible to meet the needs of every guest. Beautiful rooms, a fantastic wellness area with Finnish sauna, herbal sauna and infrared sauna. The food is top notch… Kudos to the chef! Here, too, special needs or wishes are addressed. Not possible, there is no such place here. We would like to thank the Sterz family for a wonderful week in the hotel and will certainly spend our holidays there when we come back to Mallnitz.

Super Hotel! Excellent food and a special and cordial host family!

The mountain crystal in Mallnitz is the perfect Hotel for you. Here is simply right everything! The hosts and the staff are very welcoming and make you feel very welcome. The food is just a culinary delight and very lovingly done. The rooms and the Wellness area are perfect. For the rhinestone, I would like to have more than five points, if this would be possible. I can you yourself recommend to make an image of it. It's definitely worth it. We are going to spend on each case again into the mountain, our holiday crystal.

Particularly nice hosts & staff. Very nice harmonious atmosphere. The Restaurant is wonderful. We will come back for sure.

A beautiful hotel at the foot of the Ankogel, the hotel offers everything your heart desires, excellent breakfast, particularly friendly and courteous staff, excellent dinner and a beautiful spa area. The entire hotel has been rebuilt with a lot of love. The rooms are spacious, the rain shower in the bathroom is a real highlight! Therefore I have been coming to Mallnitz for 25 years now, I can only highly recommend this hotel. Finally another reason to visit Mallnitz more often.

We just got back excited after a seven-day stay. It's a quiet little hotel, but of great quality: spacious and comfortable room, well furnished, bright; we enjoyed the excellent cuisine, although different from ours, with typical and well presented dishes; sympathetic and friendly staff. Absolutely recommend.

Have made us feel very comfortable. Friendly hosts, clean rooms and from the chef always a good tip for a great hike. Breakfast and food are available for a wide selection. Thank you!

We visited Hotel Bergkristall on June, The hotel is bare new, beautiful designed, very good mattresses — the beds are very comfortable. Shower — big head shower, feels like a rain that dropping down on you. The room are big, and fit to couple and more. Thanks to the owners, Patrik and Regina for an amazing time, warm feeling and great hosting. We do recommends truly on this Hotel when you visit the area. Cheers and love from Israel, Tomer.

I was with my girlfriend for a total of three days at the hotel Berg Kristall (two nights). We were really extremely satisfied. One had the whole time feeling that one was in the middle of the family life of the owners (daughter and dog) were very often present:)
The room was clear but not too small. The bathroom with barrier-free shower also leaves nothing to be desired.
In the morning at the breakfast buffet, you really had a very rich selection (sausage, cheese jam, honey, vegetables, fruit, breakfast eggs etc + coffee, espresso, tea, orange juice etc). In the evening there is a three-course menu and a salad buffet, of course with a vegetarian option.
You can do a lot on the outside. Here too, one of the owners likes to give some tips.
We will definitely return.

Great hotel and beautiful scenery our stay was really great. The food was delicious and the selection especially at breakfast very large. In the evening you could choose between 2 dishes (which was a pity). The service was great and all were super friendly. Highly recommended! We'll be back.

A great family run hotel. The hosts take care of class, so that everything is to the best satisfaction. The food is great and the spa area is also on top level. We are very happy to return. Only the football taste of the chef is questionable:-)

Very nice hotel in the Centre of Mallnitz. Very nice chef people who strive to meet the needs of their guests. The staff is very friendly. The food is very delicious and there is always something also for vegetarians. Hotel Bergkristall is always worth a visit.

Beautiful wellness area and the food almost didn't go any better.

One of the best hotels I've ever been able to stay on a ski holiday. Super staff, you feel immediately comfortable and the family atmosphere is great. The service simply spearhead and the food spoils our palate. All around, everything fits and the ski area is made for beginners like experienced skiers. Mallnitz and especially Hotel Bergkristall we are very happy to come back.

This is our last night and we are so sad to be leaving tomorrow. This hotel has been fabulous. We have had some excellent meals. Breakfast is so fresh with lots of choice of breads, fruit, ham and cheese in fact just about anything you could wish for. The owner is so accommodating he will try his hardest to please his guests in any way. The rooms are modern and really well equipped wirh a fridge, coffee maker, small tablet with free Wi-Fi. The sauna and Wellness area are lovely and very relaxing. It is difficult to find any fault and we would definitely stay again. The owners English is also excellent for anyone nervous about speaking German. Thanks for a great few days. Auf Wiedersehen.

Great value for money. Nice and personal.

I was here with colleagues 3x for dinner. The host is extremely friendly and sympathetic, the food really delicious and the location very nicely furnished. I can't say anything about the rooms, because the price for my budget is too high, I haven't booked yet.
