An absolute delightful place. I came here to reconnect with nature and I sure did that. The chalet was lovely and clean, if you want to wake to the sound of birds singing it's a must. A very charming peaceful place.

Simply charming, quaint and peaceful. A beautiful location hidden amongst the bush. Loved every moment of our stay, will definitely be back.

If I could give 10 out of 5 stars I would. Absolutely incredible location with gorgeous rooms and view. In addition, the owner and caretaker went above and beyond to ensure we had the most amazing stay. Thank you so much for our lovely time here, it was a beautiful two nights that felt truly peaceful and at one with nature. Our most favourite stay as a family xx.

Our experience was incredible. This place is magical and very peaceful, perfect for escaping the city, and it's very close to the center of Perth. I highly recommend it.

Beautiful chalets surrounded in bush land with great access to the Perth hills surrounds.
Lots of lovely small touches provided by the hosts. We had our infant with us and they provided extra baby items and toys.
Our little one had a great time roaming around and exploring.

The Lavander Patch self-catering hotel is so close to Perth and at the same time is surrounded with hills and forests. There's so much wild nature around and lot of directions to go. The Mundaring Weir is in 10-15 minutes from hotel by walk. The hotel itself is not luxury, it was built many years ago but it's clean and equipped quite well. The territory of hotel is well organised. There you can find kitchen, gazebo with different games, films on cd. The road is close so you can hear the noise but it's impossible to say that it was annoying.

From the moment we arrived at The Lavender Patch, we were enveloped in a sense of peace, beauty, and heartfelt hospitality that made our stay truly unforgettable. Nestled in the heart of Mundaring’s stunning bushland, this haven offers a perfect blend of nature, comfort, and thoughtful luxury.
Janet, our gracious host, has created something truly special. Her attention to detail is nothing short of extraordinary—every possible thing you could think of was provided, making us feel not just accommodated, but genuinely cared for. The property was spotlessly clean, with a freshness and sparkle that reflected the pride Janet takes in maintaining such a beautiful space.
The decor was beautiful, blending rustic charm with elegant touches that made every room feel warm and inviting. The welcoming atmosphere was palpable from the moment we stepped through the door, and it carried through every moment of our stay.
The location is fabulous, surrounded by abundant flora and fauna, including delightful visits from a couple of kangaroos that added a touch of magic to our mornings. The beautiful gardens and tranquil fishponds offered peaceful spots to relax, reflect, and soak in the serenity of the bushland setting.
One of the standout features was the chef’s dream kitchen—fully equipped, beautifully designed, and a joy to cook in. Whether preparing a simple breakfast or a gourmet dinner, it had everything we needed and more.

We visited here for a weekend break after a tough few months. It’s was perfect — lovely accommodation, lots of beautiful walks. Set amongst trees, such a special location.

Such a great place to stay, the place is cozy and comfortable and clean. All the amenities are great! I love the fact there was proper curtains that kept the warmth in and light out. So many times holiday places have terrible blinds.
Would highly recommend!

We stayed in the end cottage named Wando, aptly named after a beautiful eucalyptus tree. The cottage has preserved its original style with stone tiled of floors, antique furniture and wooden ceiling beams while the amenities have been cleverly modernised to maintain the cottage look while making your stay comfortable. There’s a beautiful conservatory on site with a small kitchen and kettle overlooking the bushy gardens. This is an ideal spot if you need a break from the rat race.

Absolutely loved our stay at The Lavender Patch! The house had such a charming, cozy feel with beautiful attention to detail throughout — from the thoughtful decor to the well-equipped amenities. Everything was spotless, and the peaceful surroundings made it the perfect relaxing getaway. It truly felt like a home away from home. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Lavendar Patch was a fantastic stay! A stunningly renovated accommodation with thoughtful touches. We were greeted with a fresh bouquet of flowers from the garden and delicious chilled Prosecco on arrival. The bed was super comfortable and we slept like babies. 10/10 would recommend.

We were a party of 4 families and booked the large house and a cottage and it was perfect for our group. The accommodation is clean, considered and the owners have gone above and beyond with the amenities provided. Cannot wait to go back!
