Comfortable, clean and you are warmly welcomed in this well located guest house. Lots of room to move around, owners are very helpful, and you feel like you are at home. If I make my way back to Kalgoorlie, I know where to stay.
My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights while visiting Kalgoorlie recently. We were delighted with the accommodation. Firstly, as we arrived in Kal late at night, by the Prospector from Perth, we were so pleased that it was a 5 minute walk from the station. Our room was very comfortable with A/C and a large TV. The kitchen was well stocked with coffee, tea, milk and bottled water. A very comfortable sitting room lead out to a beautiful garden. We had to share the bathroom, but this was no problem at all, as the other guest was friendly and considerate. The whole place was very clean and inviting and an easy walk into town. The owners were very friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend it, if anyone was looking for a reasonably priced, great place to stay.

We spent two nights at Allora House. We would highly recommend the place: Kalgoorlie itself and Allora House are rich in history, and Allison and Carl are very knowledgeable about the region. The location is perfect: beautiful house and garden, the guest rooms and sitting room/kitchen/bathroom are carefully furnished and a lot of tourist information (brochures etc. ) is provided. The place is within walking distance to supermarkets and the city centre. This was the place during our trip where we felt the most “at home away from home”.
