Best place to stay in Bunbury! Its recently been done up and looks fantastic. If you can't stay definitely have lunch at the pub it's such good food and it's really reasonably priced — I love coming here.

Was at the targa rally display and we dropped in for a couple of beers and a snack. Great beer, food was really good. Very good atmosphere. Every time I go to the Rose hotel I have enjoyed the experience!

In town for a comedy show. Grabbed a drink and some food before the show. Awesome food. Friendly staff. I love the "ball room" great to hold shows and events.

The food here is great and the staff are really nice. My mate wanted to know what sauce they used on the hot wings and they gave him half a bottle of it to keep.

The Rose Hotel in Bunbury is Hands Down Amazingly Awesome. Kid friendly, nice clean pub, good vibe and feel, nice fresh cold beverages alcoholic or non and the food is just Outstanding, massive servings, hot, fresh and delicious. If it was where I live in Capel I would be there all the time and become a real regular. Nothing less than a 5 Star Rating from me. Also a big mention to the top notch service, the staff are friendly, polite, helpful and welcoming. Best Pub I've been to in a very long time and possibly could easily become my favourite.

Location is perfect the heart of the CBD the room was very nice clean however the beds work very comfortable that was really the only negative with our stay over all very pleased for the price.

Ribs were delicious. Good selection of beers and a great little area for kids to play in.

We ordered a small amount of food, and we waited for a solid hour until they bought one dish out… not impressed.

We had the lunch special, porterhouse steak, chips and salad. Steak was perfect, chips crisp on the outside, fluffy inside. The salad was delicious, but a bit too much fancy lettuce. The garlic sauce was a little bland. The service was prompt, unobtrusive and efficient. The decor is lovely old world. Would definitely go again.

The grand old queen of Bunbury. Going here is just not about popping in for a cold beer. It is more. It is like a trip into history. Check out the construction of this place and the ornate decorative work done on the building. All of this was done by hand not elaborate machinery. As a bonus the beer is icy cold.

Good selection of reasonably priced meals. Renovations extremely well done. Downside no accessible toilets that we could find. Very difficult in a wheelchair.

It filled us up but my daughter's burger was so small and hardly anything in it and my steak was way to chewy but other then that it was good!

Old school with a modern interior. I had a few pints with lunch out on the street setting. Very nice day. Feel like living in Bunbury now.

Great place to hangout with friends and coworkers. The food is delicious and well priced. The staff are always friendly, lively atmosphere and there is a great selection of beer. I believe all the tap beer lines are new, as the Guiness is the best I've had outside of ireland.

Extremely overcrowded, hard to move aroud, tables and seating cramped, noisy not able to carry on normal conversation. Poor ventilation hot and stuffy inside very unplesant and uncomfortable. Majority of clientèle seem to be bogan and borderline low life types. Food predictable pub fare boring but then it is suited to the types that frequent the place. Sad to see the Rose Hotel has degenerated into this. Used to be a real nice place to have a meal.

An historic pub wih recent renervations to the rooms making for a nice stay. The restaurant is very popular.

The food was fantastic! 13 people were at our table and no complaints. My mum and I had the Roast Lamb and 3 weeks later I'm still thinking about it!

Had a few drinks there a few times with some mates, always respected and quick with things. Very friendly, and would recommend to new people or new friends. Had dinner there as well, you wont be going home hungry or unsatisfied. (Money always well spent)

Friendly professional staff, food was well presented and nice, my only gripe was the massive amount of noise at 8 pm on a Friday night while eating? perhaps some sound proofing might help? it was not just me but all in our party.

Not bad at all, 19 bux for that lamb, I thought it was a bit small when it came, but as I write this I am full and glad I took a pic without my hand for reference oh I am though finishing off the wife's snitty right now and I believe that is real chicken as a breast and the bread crumb coating it actually damn good. My only quip is that next time my mouth is full and I am still eating, dont ask me am I done, yes, I am holding food in my hands, chewing food with my mouth, probability is I'm writing this (and lol I in fact was) I'm not done eating… No bro.

I had a really good time in their restaurant. The food was good and the staff friendly. They had a fenced ofg childrens play area which was great for our 3yr old. Pleasently surprised!

Lovely staff, great looking place, however the cocktail I had wasn't great. It has too many conflicting flavours. But I still would recommend!

The food at the Rose Hotel was delicious. The hotel was very busy on the Sunday and when I ordered our meals I checked the receipt when I got back to our table and they had forgotten to add creamy garlic prawns to my daughter's order, so I had to go back and order them. Apart from that it was good.

The restaurant food is good and portions are big. It was very busy so getting food and drinks took some time. Booking a table is essential.

The food service was very good. The food was also in very good portion and was worth the price. Only fault that I found was that with the steaks there was very little sauce but overall it was very good.

Blues Club Jam day last weekend, excellent.

I attended a Bunbury Neighbourhood Soup event that the Rose offered to host. They even offered a discount on their already good drink prices at the bar. I was very happy with my $7.50 espresso martini.

We visited the Rose today after a few months absence and were disappointed to find a decline in standard. No tablecloths, no table service, Not a problem, perhaps the food was good? Food very disappointing, so poor we returned the plates to the kitchen. Fish batter thick and soggy, salad wilted. Will not be returning.

Great counter meals and beer on tap what more could you want.

I stayed there on a business trip for 2 nights and thought it was a lovely hotel and a great place to stay. The room was large and comfortable with a lovely modern bathroom. The hotel breakfast was in a beautiful old dining room and I had a drink in the lounge after work and a meal in the restaurant which was great. It is a beautifully preserved building with lovely antique furniture and fittings and the location was very central. Staff were all friendly and the price was reasonable.

Still has the pub grub feel for a city girl, they should accentuate the coloniale theme throughout the hôtel. Not an expensive restaurant but lacking in the details, I still would love to come back for a high tea.

This is an excellent place for lunch. Food is delicious.

Stopped in for lunch on Friday after seeing the menu as I walked by. Not very busy, but a reasonable atmosphere with the cricket on the TV and prime beer drinking weather. Ordered a schooner of Heineken (on tap), while I waited for a Wagyu burger and chips. Meal arrived promptly looking fresh and tasting delicious. Overall really enjoyable experience.

This is a lovely restaurant with pride in presentation of everything from food to service and much love in caring for this heitage listed building. You can tell that that whoever owns this place really cars for it. Very reasonably priced also.
