Great location close to town centre, very friendly and helpful staff, clean ammenties. High pressure hot showers, good stoves and soft faux grass on the unpowered sites were of note. Would stay again.

Absolutely disgusted with Margaret river tourist park. Accommodation was booked before covid-19 was known here, and now that travel bans are in place, and loss of my job, I have had to cancel and they refuse to give me back my deposit. They first stated that I had to give them a date to move the booking too, staring that they would not hold the credit, I had to give a date. Now a complete travel ban does not allow me to travel out of my region, yet they still refuse to give a refund. Would not recommend this business, and will be taking this matter further. How about showing some compassion during this extremely hard time! Definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Great Central Caravan Park to town and all day trips…

The park it's self is nice. Toilet block is old and camp oven didn't work. It's the ground staff that I found terrible. While trying to unpack a man in a good cart kept coming past making jokes that we needed to hurry up and move our trailer. Not what we needed when trying to unpack. Finally got our tent up and went to set up our gazebo. Another golf cart came past and demanded we move the edge of the pergola away from the grass. I pointed out cars are parked on the grass to which he replied cars move your going to kill my grass. I then pointed out we paid for the whole site. Again shot down very rudely. At night our kids are told to stop riding scooters fair enough it's getting dark it's a safety issue. No need to growl at the kids and tell them to go to bed. That's not your role. Staff walk around complaining about management and gossiping about campers while standing outside the toilet block. Then I'm in our tent and someone starts watering the lawn with bore water. Splashing our things with smelly bore water. On his phone the whole time having a fight with his partner and dropping f bombs. Customer service needs to be worked on. Totally rude and not necessary.

We stayed for four nights, packed in like sardines… cleaning staff we were very friendly but can’t say that about the unhelpful unfriendly office staff… would we stay again… no… would we recommend the Park… no!

Absolutely wonderful. The beds are so comfortable and have electric blankets. The place is quite spacious and the air con heats the rooms in no time. I wonder if they’ll notice if I take their bed home when we leave? Fantastic place, would recommend it to everyone!

After coming here for the last 3 years cause it WAS a warm friendly flexible family place to stay, we will be considering to find somewhere else to stay. During this trip we were constantly watches like hawks and got harrassed by mangement and staff for the smallest of little things that for example having a second car in the capsite just to load or unload item or sleeping child which we were going to take car to park on the STREET when the job was completed! This has made us feel like untrusted guests and made it very inconvenient for us. Also upon arrival, like we have for the last 3 years we wanted to book and pay our same site for the following year, we were told we will not be guaranteed the same bay cause its a first served first come system… THIS IS WHY WE BOOK AND PAY FOR IT A YEAR AHEAD!

Nice tourist park however the amenities are outdated and need a coat of paint and some of the van sites are a little tired and unlevel as well. Staff are very friendly and helpful. There is tourist information available at the office and Chris is very helpful in explaining tours etc. Bookings for wine tours etc (which there are may) can be made at the office. The park is a short five minute walk to town and there is a Thai restaurant and cafes opposite the park. A camping store, Home Hardware, and a Repco spare parts store are also very close at only a minute to three minute walk.

Clean facility, Nice accommodating staff! Kitchen amenities were nice! Quiet property, close to town, 15 minutes walk! Comfy bed! Great seafood business across the street, great produce across the street! Great outdoor (camping) store around corner!

Hired a camping spot here, staff were a little strange and park has been let go with grass dying and leaves all over spot we hired. Also decided to take a shower and was dry reaching due to the state of the showers. Absolutely disgusting.

Stayed here for a wedding. Was very nice. Clean rooms with ample space and all the amenities we needed. Will be coming back with Miss 9 to try out the jumping pillow. Staff were friendly and helpful, even giving us tips and hints of things to do when we were checking out.

Amazing place to stay in Margaret River. Close to town main strip, very clean and spacious rooms, great facility. The cabins have everything that you need to stay for the weekend.

Very pleasant stay, lovely greeting, well priced. I had a standard cabin that out did many so called deluxe cabins I have stayed at. Clean comfort and one of the best showers I have had… being a avid motorcycle rider and in charge of many group tours I will definitely intend to come back with groups for sure. Nice work keep it up. Nice place and friendly staff but spent the easter holidays in a cloud of smoke thanks to the Chainsmokers in the caravan behind us. Should be a designated area for smokers as I didn't appreciate my 3 small kids eating breakfast lunch and dinner in a cloud of smoke.

Stop on our lap of Aus with two dogs. Ensuite sites are pet friendly and the ensuite room was clean and well maintained. Sites seemed quite cramped as we had to move twice just so people in neighboring sites had enough room to manoeuvre into place.

Booked a cottage — small but clean & comfortable with all cutlery and crockery with good cooking facilities. Walkable to town and a v short drive.

Absolutely crap. Ruins the Margaret river experience!
Came for 2 nights, camping on a non powered site. $30 a night, camp site was un maintained, and we were cramped in right next to each other like cattle. After night one my 6 month old was ill and so I decided I had to travel back home and couldn't stay the second night.
No compassion no care from the staff and no refund for the second night which we COULDNT stay for health reasons for Bub.
"It's in our policy no returns" even though this is NOT visible anywhere within the grounds of the park. I will never stay here again and it has ruined my weekend away with my daughter. Rude staff, cramped in like cattle, un maintained grounds, closed the TV room before the due time, grumpy staff Margaret river caravan park you are a disgrace to the beautiful town itself. Head to grace town caravan park people. Much much much better!

Awesome! a nice place to stop and meet the welcome of true Aussie … obviously east coast is the best! a full experience, where nature and fun are the watchwords! I remember with nostalgia the grills and drinking! I lived in the camp for a few months, fantastic, with swimming pool and facilities, better than at home! I remember with affection the owners … I recommend it.

Awesome park! Walking distance to town, clean grounds, clean toilets/showers, amazing café only 2 mins walk from the grounds, dog friendly & the staff were very helpful & lovely and decently priced… Great vibe to the place too. Highly recommend. We will be back again someday.

Lovely grounds, very clean and spacious amenities block, well equipped camp kitchen.

I have been staying at the tourist park in a long term unit for several months now and will probably not leave. The units available for long term stays are quite a good value for the money, either old and without bathroom for cheap, or new and with bathrooms for a bit more, but still quite good when compared to the rest of Margaret River. The units come fully stocked with pot and pans and household items. There is a pool and large jumping thing for kids. The drawback are that there is no Wi-Fi available in any of the units, you must purchase 1 gig for $10 on a signal that may or may not reach your unit, in my case not. It is actually cheaper just to increase the data plan that you have for cell service and hotspot anything you need to connect. The other major drawback is parking. Each unit is allowed one gate key for one car, even if, like my unit, there are four people living together. It is really a hassle and a half to find parking outside the tourist park, and good luck getting help from the staff who will tell you to park illegally next door and chance getting your car towed. There is a strict noise policy in place, which is inforced after 9:30, even on the weekends. This is a point that I am neutral on, as it is both a benefit and detraction depending on the day. All in all, worth the money, even with the problems, and my only complaint is that they seem not even to acknowledge any problems exist or attempt to mitigate them.

This my one of my first negative reviews that I don't write very often. Me, family and friends booked 3 camp sites for a 5 day camping trip. We were all fired up for the trip for a while and when the day came we drove 4 hours from Perth to Margret river. Got there in record time, but as we pulled up to our site things didn't seem right. For starters we booked 3 sites and not 2 — there was a family of 1 just setting up. We didn't think much of it until it really hit us that one of the site seemed to be missing, so we called over and asked what's going on and why have we only got 2 sites. It turns out that they only booked 2 sites instead of 3. They didn't seem to care either and gave us the parking spot next to the sites if we payed. That sounded just as worse as why pay extra for a parking spot when in the first place they messed up the booking. Yes they messed up the booking, didn't seemed to care and the solution was to pay more money for a parking spot that was for the cars. We didn't let that ruin our holiday though, from help from next door we built up our tents, made a bit of noise and made our self 3 sites with one big tent combined with all the tents together. Place seemed like its suffering the down tern with the talking Galah that wasn't interested in talking — poor thing brake the lock and set it free. Got told off for sticking our pegs in the wrong place as we might burst the pipes or set off a spark. Put a sign then!

Friendly night receptionist and everything was clean.

Clean rooms and look just like what is advitised. Located just outside the main stretch of town. Nothing to complain about.

People working here just terrible. They showed us an inccredible attitude of no-respect for tourists. Had such a worst day ever.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Accommodation was good value for money. Will be returning again.
