Murray Valley Resort in Q&A

Information is provided based on reviews and may contain inaccuracies.

Where is Murray Valley Resort located and what is nearby?

The resort is located in a beautiful part of the country, just a few blocks from the town's main street, which features a variety of dining establishments of different standards. The hotel is very close to shops and is situated directly on the grounds of golf courses. Guests note that the town is easily accessible from the resort on foot.

How polite and efficient is the staff at Murray Valley Resort?

Most guests are delighted with the staff, describing the employees as friendly, welcoming, and helpful, with Toby, Vanessa, and Kim receiving special mention. Many highlight pleasant touches, such as notes wishing them a safe journey and complimentary windshield cleaning before departure. However, some negative reviews exist: some visitors found the staff not very helpful, complained about difficulties finding employees on the premises, and mentioned that the reception was closed at 3:00 PM, which prevented them from renting an air fryer.

What amenities and equipment are available in the rooms?

The rooms are described as spacious and clean, many of which have been recently renovated and feature modern kitchens and bathrooms. The apartments include full kitchens with stoves; however, one guest noted that the electric burners were difficult to use and had to request a non-stick frying pan. Rooms feature comfortable sofas, and beds are equipped with duvets and covers. Conversely, one guest complained about extremely uncomfortable mattresses that exacerbated back problems. It was also mentioned that in some rooms, access to a DVD player is limited or unavailable.

What pools and wellness facilities are on the premises?

The resort features four pools, including a very warm indoor pool that is open late (until 11:00 PM), and two outdoor pools with comfortable lounge chairs. There is also a sauna and a spa, although reviews mentioned instances where the sauna or the outdoor pool were closed for renovation without prior notice on the website. Guests generally rate the cleanliness and quality of the pools very highly.

Is the hotel suitable for a vacation with children, and what entertainment is available?

This is an ideal location for a family vacation, where children can run freely around the grounds. For children, there is a specialized toddler room, numerous playgrounds, mini-golf, tennis courts, snooker, table tennis, basketball, squash, and even outdoor bowling. Special attention is given to animation: guests speak fondly of the "Meet & Greet" events, train rides, and pancake breakfasts.

How does the Wi-Fi work at the resort hotel?

Internet is available at the hotel and is included in the price of the stay. However, one guest noted that the connection quality was unsatisfactory, but attributed this to general NBN issues in the region.

What additional services and activities does the resort offer?

Guests can use the on-site cafe and lounge to avoid leaving the premises. The hotel organizes interesting events, such as "mystery tours," bus trips, and community breakfasts. Bicycles are available for sports enthusiasts, and golfers can enjoy three courses of varying difficulty located right at the hotel.
