Great atmosphere, where super friendly and helpful with the menu. Great knowledge of the food and drinks on hand. Food was delicious. The trout was out of this world. Soft and succulent. Pork belly wasn't overly cooked as per menu description, needed to be crispy as it was very fatty. The desserts were amazing, had the special. Truley a lovely experience.

Nice old pub. Dropped in for lunch in the middle of winter. Two mains, steak and chicken, came with salad! It's winter. So we ended up with trendy cheeseburgers which were pretty good. The beers are served at blistering cold brain freezing temperatures (remember it's winter! ). This ruins beer. Tried a taster and it had a small sliver of ice in it. Come on get your act together. Wi-Fi is worse the useless!

A charming old hotel/ pub with a great cozy yet lively atmosphere. The fire was lit for the cold & gusty day when we visited. All the staff are very friendly. We have visited several times & seen a changing menu with varied, interesting & tasty option utilising produce & ingredients from the local area.

It was very sedate, staff friendly but no service as in you had to go up to bar and order and grab your own water. Nice place to sit and eat.

Its a beautiful place on the main Street with an awesome outside beer garden. They had a wide variety of beers and wines including local choices. Staff were lovely too. I will definitely be stopping in there next time im in Healesville.

Great food, homely atmosphere. Interesting menu comprising of a variety of local foods. A little on the pricey side though.

Amazing food! Staff were friendly and helpful. It was a higher price tag but it was a higjer class of food. Would definitely go back again.

Impeccable service while eating a birthday lunch. I had the vegan zucchini risotto, full of bold flavors. Everyone at the table was happy with their dishes. The bread and olives before the main course we're delicious as well!

Although the venue was lovely, enjoyable and quaint, unfortunately the food fell just under par… my partner and I ordered the steaks off the local butcher section of the menu, and were met with a fairly underwhelming, sparse, plate of food. With only three pieces of potato each and a salad that was more ornamental that edible we were left praying the steak would make up for it… although the steak was cooked perfectly and very tasty I'd say they probably need to offer some sauces for a side as it gets pretty bland pretty quick. Otherwise, good pub, kind staff, and a lovely place to visit.

Absolutely beautiful old hotel. The rooms were amazing, the service was incredible and the good was Devine! Definitely coming back again soon!

Can't recommend this place highly enough. Delicious healthy food at reasonable prices. Terrific beer garden with shade and fabulous barbecue food as well. So much to choose from! As well as very good wines.

Very interesting, surprising and tasty meat dishes. Awesome service and atmosphere as well — the building looks old but is kept in a good shape and is cool inside with only fans instead of air conditioning. They did actually forget our salad, but we were full anyway so it worked out perfectly.

My family and I celebrated a wonderful Christmas Eve here! The food was spectacular and bountiful, the service quiet and attentive. We were all so impressed that we decided to make Christmas Eve dinner at the Healesville Hotel a regular tradition!

Had a most enjoyable lunch on a hot summer day The dining room has original pressed metal ceilings with a comfortable and airy feel to it. Healesville Hotel has an interesting menu with local ingredients and suppliers featured, and an excellent wine list. Couldn’t fault the service and the food. Will definitely be back.

Lovely Edwardian hotel, situated on a great spot. The staff are friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Dinner at the hotel was a treat, fantastic food and wine. Well worth a visit either for the bar, the restaurant or an over night stay.

Beautiful restaurant, amazing food. These guys really work hard to showcase Yarra Valley produce to it's very best. The wine list is comprehensive without being overcomplicated. Pricier than other options on this strip, but very much worth the money.

To us, the meal seemed over-priced for what we got in the bar, although we were just looking for a simple counter-meal. They seemed to be trying to be a little more up market than what we were looking for and expecting. Our fault really as we were just walk-in's and hadn't done any research first.

Love this place. Service is superb. The Wi-Fi was not working, so one of the staff hot-spotted his phone… Big shout out to Jack!

Always nice to visit Healesville, only 20 mins from home & a favourite spot for many years. We often came out here for dinner when the boys were quite young. Lovely lunch at the Hotel today.

Had a fantastic evening. Great food and service. Loved the atmosphere. Definitely would spend more time on next visit.

Three of us had the Friday night burger, and while it looked good, the taste was nothing to behold… in fact I wish I had a cheeseburger from Macca's (yes I made that comparison for a bar burger). The prices were exorbitant as well, you'd hope from the cost of the food, you'd get something good. Perhaps their other meals are better, but if you're considering their burger, don't.

Great selection of local beer, cider and wine. Food portions are just right. Staff are excellent. 5 all round.

Excellent staff service, very attentive. Lovely atmosphere. Beautiful food but vegetables way too under done and l love my vegetables. And not a lot to choose from either. But still enjoyed.

Located on the main strip. Healsville hotel provides a warm ambient with an open fire in each room making it a private warm dining experience. Waitress we had were polite and attentive. Good selection of beer. I had a porterhouse medium rare which ended up a bit overcooked. Overall, a good dining experience.

Stayed in the hotel. Loved the atmosphere. It was torture smelling all those wonderful foods cooking below us whenever we enter or exit our room. Friendly, prompt service from staffs. The rooms are well maintained and the shared bathrooms & lavatories are always clean. Only regret is, we should have stayed a little longer.

A must to stop in every time I come to Healesville! The kitchen is amazing and has a great range of food for lunch and dinner in the dining room, front bar, and beer garden. They often put on events and have a big outdoor BBQ running which can be a great treat. Nice range of wine and beer, including Hargreaves Hill, who have an amazing bitter!
