Coldstream Cottage

Chris would have to be one of the nicest people I have ever met. He went above and beyond in making our stay a memorable one. Upon arrival he made contact to see what milk and bread we would prefer for our breakfast. And he also offered to take us to our event then pick us up, which was very convenient indeed.
The cottage itself was immaculate, and stocked up with everything required. And the added fresh strawberries 🍓 were a real treat.
Thank you so much for your hospitality Chris. We look forward to revisiting sometime soon.

Had an amazing 5 day stay, this accommodation had everything we needed plus lots of extras we were not expecting, but it was Chris the host that made the stay even more enjoyable, went out of his way for us and was extremely friendly and kind, it was certainly a pleasure to stay here.

Very comfortable stay. Everything we needed was there to use. Our host asked about dietary requirements and met us on arrival. The bed and bed linens were luxe. Thank you.

Chris is the ultimate host. He pays attention to every possible detail to make his guest comfortable — from spotless cleanliness, filling the fridge with drinks, supplying bathroom amenities and leaving olive oil, salt, pepper and Al foil for our needs. The surrounds are peaceful and a joy to the eye. Thanks Chris.

One of the most modern and definitely one of the cleanest (it was actually spotless) places I’ve stayed in with breakfast included. Chris the host really does care. Recommended!

Exceed expectations. Enjoyed very much of the stay here. Tidy and clean with good supply of all needed including breakfast, coffee, tea and…. :. Roses! Good location to reach different wineries and exploring good place to go. The garden is magnificent. After a few days of exploring, the cottage is also a very good place for rest, relaxation and quite time.
Chris is so thoughtful and welcoming person providing me many advices on where to go.

We had the most amazing experience staying at this hidden gem in the Yarra Valley. We've stayed at many different places over the last few years, and this has to be one of the very best. The cottage is well appointed — from the SUPER comfy bed, to the views form the bedroom and patio, the breakfast options and cleanliness. Chris, the owner has thought of everything and as a female guest I was extremely impressed with the stocking of sanitary items and face wipes! This place will always hold special as my (now) fiancee proposed to me the weekend we stayed here. Chris went out of his way to celebrate us even gifting us a bottle of wine which was such a kind gesture! I can't recommend this stay highly enough — so please do yourself a favour and book it already! We will definitely be back ☺️

A hidden gem tucked in Coldstream! We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage. Highly recommended! Big, thick towels, 5-star hotel bed equipped with electric blankets perfect for keeping us toasty and warm, clean and comfortable leather sofa. The view from bed is my favorite — lush greenery with the mountains in sight. The cottage was everything and more than what I expected — the warm hospitality from owner Chris with thoughtful gestures of getting fresh strawberries and a huge loaf of sourdough to welcome us was above and beyond. Will definitely come back to this lovely home away from home! 🤩 Thank you for this amazing experience!

Stayed in this beautiful cottage with two friends for a music festival close by. Absolutely beautiful location, stunning gardens and so clean. Continental breakfast provided and locally grown strawberries. Chris is a sensational host and goes above and beyond for his guests. Made many suggestions/recommendations on where to visit and local restaurants.
We will definitely be back 🙂
