A truly unique experience! If you're someone who likes more than just a usual stay, instead somewhere you can fully immerse yourself in the venue and location, then this is a must try! We were married at this venue in early 2024 and just enjoyed a weekend getaway for our anniversary. Once again our time was amazing! New chef was also exceptional! The chef inspired and presented food is amazing as is the scenery. The Station is a place where the grand days of Australia’s pastoral homesteads meets relaxed modern country hospitality. Definitely a must-visit!

The staff went beyond, non intrusive, friendly and we could not fault.

My youngest son's wedding was at this Station on October 12, 2024. They plus their wedding party & partners stayed for 3 days/nights at the Homestead. There were 16 in total & they had the most incredible time. The Homestead chef prepared the meal for their formal dinner on the Friday night as well as breakfasts and the lunch barbeque on Sunday for family & friends. Their wedding day on the Saturday was amazing. The service was on the lawns followed by a Reception for 100 guests in a beautiful marquee.
Just to top it all off the weather was perfect. Simply a magical 3 day experience. Absolutely beautiful! Couldn't recommend the Station more highly.

We spent a couple of delightful nights at Mount William Station. The old homestead has undergone recent renovation and is still a working farm. Overall the accommodation was very good and well appointed. The facilities also include a swimming pool, sauna, tennis court and mini golf course. The inclusive gourmet breakfast and three course dinners were excellent and would be varied each day. We enjoyed chatting with our fellow guests over pre-dinner drinks in the lounge before being invited to the dining room giving it all an old world ambience. Special thanks to Tim (and partner) and Chef Kevin for the exemplary service and making us feel at home.

The Station is located in spectacular surroundings and the homestead itself is full of history. My wife and I were welcomed by Nadia, Tim and Mathild with owner Will giving us a tour of the surrounds with all the historical information. We were there for 2 nights and were lucky enough to have the staff and the chef to ourselves the 1st night because the 2nd night they were booked out. Had pre-dinner drinks in the Green Room and then we met Kevin, the chef, who personally gave us a run-down of what we could expect on the menu. The food was delicious and so well presented! The location is an easy 45min drive to Halls Gap so we did a day trip to the lookouts and McKenzie Falls in the area. Nadia was kind enough to make up a picnic lunch for us to take with us. All in all, it was a fantastic experience.

We stayed at Mount William for the weekend with 3 other families & loved every minute of it. The homestead is so spacious & homely & has more than enough space for all of us. The kids love running around the grounds playing games & having a hit of tennis or golf — we barely saw them all weekend they were so busy! The food is amazing. Every meal was a stand out. We love all the staff there & can't wait to return next year.

The homestead is a hidden gem at the foothills of the Grampians and boast spectacular views. The accommodation in the Chirnside Suite was great. Dinner and breakfast was prepared by a private chef with fresh locally source produce and Nadia couldn't have been more welcoming. We will definitely return to this quiet country haven.

We loved our long weekend at Mt William, as did the kids and the three other families we went with. It's a special place with incredible history and a stunning backdrop, and the staff treat it (and their guests) as such. It would be an incredible spot for a wedding or other special occasion. Beautiful!

Our stay at My William was absolutely beautiful. The staff were incredibly helpful and went out of their way to make our stay no less than perfect. Our dinner was epic! We were lucky enough to be the only guests on the estate for a Sunday night stay, dinner by candle light. The chef surprised us with bold flavours and local seasonal produce, some picked from the garden only that evening, so special. The wine selection was perfect for the meal. We played tennis in the warm winter sun followed by a sauna and a refreshing dip in the pool. The rooms were spotless and cosy for a lovely homely and warm feel. We felt like family as guests of this beautiful estate. I could not recommend Mt William any higher for a relaxed weekend away. Special mention to Nadia who hosted our stay, thank you.

We had another wonderful stay at Mount William Station. The perfect place for a relaxing escape with friends. We were so well looked after, nothing is too much trouble. Food delicious, rooms fabulous, spectacular setting. We are already looking forward to our next visit, thank you!

Garry and I had the pleasure of celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary at Mount William Station. We loved our experience and could not fault the wonderful staff and the very talented chefs. All of our meals were outstanding. The home is beautiful and well set up for guests whilst also maintaining many elements of its past. Guests are able to learn about the history of the property as well. Staff were very accommodating to our needs. I would highly recommend this property.

Beautiful, luxurious accommodation. The grounds were sensational and the room we stayed in was wonderful. Property is filled with lots of memento's from times gone by. We had dinner on the property on both nights which was incredible. The food is all sourced either locally or from Victoria and was really delicious. Staff were very friendly and approachable. I would highly recommend this as a place to stay.

We‘ve had a wonderful stay here. The old farmhouse was renovated with a lot of love and attention to detail. Our room was spacious and had everything we needed. Very nice outdoor area with a pool, tennis court and a lovely rose garden. My personal favorite was the food — outstanding quality and served in a wonderful environment in the old dining room. It was terrific to experience the charm of this place in a unique part of Australia, so close to the beautiful Grampians.

Mount William Station is truly a special place and I honestly felt lucky to stay there. It’s beautiful, unique, elegant, charming and exudes a palpable sense of history. My husband and I went for a few days to spend some quality time together, and loved just hanging out on the property, playing tennis, using the sauna, swimming in the pool, and wandering around the grounds. But we couldn’t keep ourselves from also exploring the Grampians, going for hikes to get our cardio fix and also just to take in the spectacular views. The staff are so lovely and hospitable, it was fabulous getting a tour from Will, and learning all about the history of the property and also of his family who own it. (Cool to find out that one of the family’s horses is an integrable part of the history of the Melbourne Cub. ) Last but not least, the food is way too delicious and it was fun having a nightly dinner party with other guests. Thanks to Kevin who was the executive chef during our whole stay. Hope to go back not too far into the future.
