Location location! Beautiful room, views to die for! Gorgeous management and staff. In trying times with Covid, Hospitality is doing it very hard. But Zirkys went above and beyond. We will be back ❤️❄️

Great bar, great people and the no 1 location. Apart from that everything else is brilliant.

It was our first time at Mt Hotham and being so busy we were extremely impressed with the professionalism that Sarah (a fabulous waitress at Zirkys) as we were lining up and due to the lockdown the restrictions were lowered to a maximum of 100 and so many people were absolutely rude trying to push there way through or were just saying rude comments to Sarah however she remained professional and upbeat putting in 110% to get everyone seated while maintaining the Covid rules and managing the door and still multitasking. She is extremely friendly and made us feel just at home with her upbeat and friendly personality.
The service at Zirkys is different to other restaurants and bars, you’ll feel just at home and the food is absolutely incredible, my favourite night is defiantly Steak night, there wasn’t a long wait for food after we ordered!

An absolute must when you are at Hotham. Excellent service, delicious food, icy cold beer and an all round great vibe. Oh and a beautifully decked out ski shop!

Dinner for two in the restaurant tonight, service was amazing — above and beyond everywhere else on the mountain. Food was delicious, well priced and excellently cooked. Cannot reiterate the outstanding service, the lady was an absolute gem, highly recommend to eat here over other places on the mountain.

We always stay at Zirkys every year. Great accommodation, nice food and the staff are fabulous. Would highly recommend.

Just came in for a drink while skiing. Nice atmosphere, good location. Pricey, but that's too be expected.

Whilst spending a few days at Mt Hotham I was in need of new ski boots and was recommended to visit Dan. He worked tirelessly with me to find a boot that fit my weird feet and was comfortable. I think we spent over 2 hours working on getting it exactly right and it was so worth it. My skiing improved instantly and I was no longer in pain. I could not recommend Dan at the ski shop any more, he was amazing to work with and willing to try everything to get it right. If you need new boots or are having trouble with your boots go and speak to him, he will sort you out!

We came here for dinner after a day out on the slopes. Food was good and atmosphere was nice, prices were also around what you'd expect for a restaurant in the centre of Mt Hotham. Relaxed and chill wait staff who were friendly was also nice.

After 20 years of holidays in Hotham. I have noticed a great decline in the standard of food and service in both the bistro and cafe. Very limited gluten free options (was told by a rude mannered red headed waitress, the gluten free bread is too expensive so we don’t have it). My husband and sons ordered a burger and Mac n Cheese, overpriced and very poor standard. Did I mention the rude staff. The cafe was understaffed, I waited 25mins for a coffee in an empty cafe. Many other dining options on the mountain superior to this. Go to The Bird or The Last Run Bar for warm hospitality and great food.

Saw the guys Downs stairs for help with my ski boots both of them were lovely and assist me really well. They made they whole experience very easy and personal.

The guys that work down stairs in the ski rental are fantastic. So helpful with your problems and are happy to work with you to get it sorted. It's a super personal experience. Highly recommend.

Walked into a fairly empty restaurant space with a couple of reserved signs, walked to the bar and asked if it was fine to sit, which we were told wasn’t a problem. Put our jackets down on the seats and went to the ordering section. Firstly I was confronted by a nice lass, who proceeded to take our order til an angry ranga came over, rudely challenged our invitation to sit in restaurant, told me it was only for reservations, to which I said ok so can we reserve a seat in the empty restaurant then? All I received then was bad manners and treated like rubbish, walked out, poor form.

Shocking service, extremely slow. Staff are in some what of a daze. Do not recommend.

Burgers way too expensive for what you get. Mine ended up being burnt. Go to the bird for a good feed.

While the mac and cheese I had was really amazing and homely with the slight garlic, the chips that came out were cold and a bit hard. Compliments to the chef for the chateaubriand that my friend ordered because it was beautiful. We did have another issue of a big string of cooking paper in with the potatoes which was strange. Aside from that, lovely friendly staff were on tonight.

Dan the boot man is a fantastic boot fitter. If you're considering buying ski boots Dan's your man.

Food is great. Location convenient.

1.45pm and already not serving food on the long weekend. Lots of people turned back. Plus drinks were flat.

Snitzels night is good value $25. And includes a pot of beer. Friendly and helpful staff and great atmosphere suits the over 30s crowd.

Whilst they have a few healthier options on the menu, it's mostly deep fried fast to cook grub. The food is quite unappealing… Staff are also very rude! Best to go to Snowbird!

Cafe and lunch bistro. Wonderful atmosphere, fantastic tea — very generous pot. Certainly my favorite haven at mt Hotham.

Went on a Sunday during lunch time and it was quite busy. Took us a while to find a table. Otherwise food was good, prices were decent.

Visited the Bistro for the first time after many trips to Hotham. The food was amazing and priced well for the location and the great service received by all staff. Highly recommended.

Best croissants on Mount Hotham by a mile! Cafe comes highly recommended for a pre-ski fix. Typically closed out of season.

Very welcoming staff, nice bar and cafe with many good papers, friendly equipment shop staff. Bar staff was very slow to make 2 coffees for the number of clients, but are good.

Brilliant, Amazing with 6 Star Service, we had the best time staying at Zirky's & we will be back to stay. The staff were friendly and always happy to help. A Huge THANK YOU for all the help and support we received that far exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend Zirky's to anyone wanting an amazing location with the best staff.

Great family run place to stay. Very clean and friendly. All the staff are friendly. Excellent service. Ski in and out. Had 12 days here. Thanks Annelise and Bob for a wonderful time. All u need is here. Ski shop and great boot fitter. It is nice to see Peter and yourselves chatting to guests.

Had a great time staying at Zirkys, room and facilities where great and the staff are an awesome bunch of people and made us feel at home, will be back at 'Dads' bar soon. Highly recommended from Mark and Tim.

We stayed here during the week and could not fault it. Facilities and staff were great. We'll be back!

Just saw the once great Zirky's on Postcards. I can tell you that Rebecca Judds pulled beef burger looked fantastic to the dry old shrivelled sad case of a burger and "small coffee cup" of chips for $20 that we got. Used to be my favourite eatery on the mountain but since they closed the buffet for lunch it hasn't been the same. Empty and sad and with bad food to boot.
