We didn’t stay there but chose fish at the bistro only to be disappointed in finding that the advertised ‘Flathead fillets’ was not Aussie fish but tasted and looked like the cheap imported fish variety served with plastic chips.

Do yourself a favour and take your time to visit the Corryong Hotel Motel, a great Aussie pub with a magnificent view.
The owners are supportive of community footy netball club, offer friendly service and provide great tasting food. Gods country.

One of the best pub meals we’ve had! Lunch and dessert both terrific! If you’re coming through this way, definitely stop in, you won’t be disappointed.

The bottom pub. Good place to take families. Decent sort of atmosphere with a good fire in the winter. They have good food but no longer have table service which is a pity coz it added a lot of atmosphere. Lots of parking. Sometimes have special events.

Perfectly cooked steaks, best chips, excellent apple pie. The burger is great too. Well worth the stop.

Small but comfortable lodging. At rear of hotel. Continental breakfast included. Good choice of meals for dinner. Owners were of great assistance when I misplaced my wallet. Would stay again.

Quiet rooms. Beautiful views. Great pub food. Try the sticky date pudding on Wednesday! Or the trivia night on Thursday.

Would prefer more on the menu. A lot of fried meals. I opted for the pasta, could have been hotter but ok.

Great place to stay if u are heading that way. Rooms are lovely and that bed… sooo soft and comfy. Has free Wi-Fi too.

Lets start with Tony, the owner. He purchased the Hotel in early 2016, and obviously has put a lot of effort into it since then. As other travelers already said, he is happy to go the extra mile. We for example inadvertently left something behind, and Tony mailed it to us — and wouldn't accept any reimbursement. Our room was renovated and clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the reverse cycle a/c was highly effective, and quiet. We also had three delicious meals at the Bistro, which is part of the Hotel/Motel. Like the accommodation, it is not a fancy affair — but the "value for money" proposition is hard to beat. Should we be back in that area, we would be happy to stay at the Corryong Hotel/Motel again.

Excellent roast pork with super fresh vegetables.

We stayed there for one night in mid August when going to ski at Perisher. They waited us with AC on heat which was great. Very comfortable bed and good quality bed sheets. The rooms are to the back se we didn't heard any noise coming from the road or from the bar. The breakfast was made of milk/coffee/tea, biscuits, cereals, canned fruits which were served in the room. Nice experience overall.

Last Queens B'day weekend we were coming to Corryong for a mates 50th b'day, we hit a wombat just out of Corryong and I phoned the motel to let them know we were going to be late and why. As we were patiently waiting for a tow, they called me back so we could order dinner before the kitchen closed
Talk about service! Our steak and parma were great and the beer was perfect… My other half is very fussy about his Carlton on tap! Our room was fantastic, awesome bed and nice bathroom (even if it was circa 1970's). It was great having he chairs/table out the front and the view across the paddock was worth sitting out in the cold.

Good room with large, very comfy bed and lounge area. Bathroom is a bit dated, but sleeping and lounge area looked brand new. We had a great night's sleep. We enjoyed a few drinks in the bar along with pizza for dinner. I would highly recommend this good value accommodation.

Went for dinner last night chicken Parma and scotch fillet both cooked and tasted perfect went back for lunch today and the pizzas were just how we like them a tasty selection of toppings and a great selection of local craft beers definitely worth a try, the new owners are very friendly talking about local attractions and the snow fields the refurbished also look great Corryong is small but definitely worth a visit.

Great place for a meal! Very friendly staff, caters well to children with a play area and TV specifically for them (as well as sport for the adults) and there is a little bucket of crayons with paper tablecloth for the kids to draw on as well. The food is both very reasonably priced and delicious, the lamb shanks were a particular favourite of both myself and my husband! An overall great place to come to. Oh, and there's a slow combustion wood fire too, so very cosy :)

Nice place to stay a night. Kid friendly, and a warm cosy atmosphere. Very helpful staff and our room was beautifully renovated. It only a short walk to the town centre where all the action is ;)
