Avoid at all costs, no longer a family friendly venue. We were put in a room next to someone that was having a party and because they owned the room (apparently there selling the rooms off now) we were told they couldn’t do anything about the loud music and yelling, swearing while they partied on the common balcony and that we could ether confront them ourselves or move to another room in the middle of the night, I feel sorry for anyone here with children. Pretty piss poor.

Beautiful big apartment, room for 5 people, spa bath! Everything you need for your stay! Close to all restaurants, walked everywhere! Highly recommend it! Love it! Will come back again!

Great position, lovely views, very comfortable seating. All you need and very close to beach, metres, and eatery's… great.

No 130 was perfect for me and my party. The view was the balcony was good and the facilities were fine.

The apartment was lovely; spacious, clean, spa bath includeded. The only issue I could really bring up was the unfortunate failing of a hot water tank for my apartment, which resulted in no hot water. However, the staff were willing to help in that they allowed us the use of another available apartment for all our hot water needs, or to move into if we wished. All in all, a great time.

The ladies at the front desk were so kind, that they said we could leave our luggage at the front desk and pick it up later so we didn't have to carry all that extra weight with us around town. The overall stay at the Waves was pleasant and their services are impecable. I recommend these apartments!

Service was great, apartment was nice and clean but could use a little maintenance on the little things. Great amount of space and the spa was great. Fantastic to be within walking distance of everything in Cowes.

The apartment was clean, the lady at the reception was marvelous, always smiling and ready to help. It was easy to drive around and the apartment faces the sea. There are shops and restaurants close by.

The room had a great view and was very clean, but it was honestly the loudest place I’ve ever had to stay in. You can hear everything from every room around you. There was a constant water running sound and slamming noises. The car park is in the centre of the hotel with the rooms surrounding it. So cars coming and going and slamming of their car doors was quite loud. It’s a nice place to stay but if you are wanting a sleep in and like silence then I’d stay somewhere else. The noises start around 4:30am and continue until you can’t bare it anymore and get up at 6:30

1The Esplanade not to be confused with 3 The Esplanade are private apartments for holiday rental. Reasonable parking, great location and from the Esplanade frontage, particularly level 2, a great view of the beach.

Clean, modern rooms. A lot of rules, I'm assuming for when schoolies comes through, but it's march and I didn't appreciate the fines that accompanied not taking my rubbish out or moving furniture.

Nice modernish spacious. GREAT location. Friendly staff. Needs a pool and recreation room though.

Perfect location! Reasonably priced and suited our needs for our holiday.

Beautiful morning views. Spacious apartment studio concluding bathroom Jacuzzi and a kitchen. Ample amount of open and undercover car parking. Good service. Easy access to the beach and resturents.

Rooms were normal std room with Spa in bath tub. Breakfast was DIY… if you are in Philip island it’s good to stay a nite before heading back melboume city.

I live here full time. It's a great place short or long term. Opposite the beach and a nice Park with BBQ.

Good place to stay while in Phillip Island
Was our first time to Phillip Island so we upgraded to Beachfront and I wasn't disappointed it was sublime hearing the waves while in bed and seeing beach from our room.
My only critique would be there is no room service and the pillows were a bit uncomfortable but all in all it was good and id definitely go back.

I really wanted to rate this higher due to the friendly staff and great location. However, the apartment wasn't good. 1) the bathroom sink and floor had hair all over them 2) the frosted glass between the bedroom and bathroom meant if you went to the toilet in the middle of the night it felt like the bedroom light was on. 3) the bed in the bedroom was really hard and a very small queen or maybe just a double. Disappointing.

Applauling service. Took booking and then cancelled it the minute it was realised it was for the motogp a year in advance. Once discussing the service and opotunity for accomodation I was advised I have ample time to find it elsewhere. Wow, not even offering to help find it. Spoke with me to confirm the booking, then cancels it the next day without notice or explanation. Horrible customer service.

Stayed at The Wave for an overnight visit to Phillip island. Reception warmly welcomed us on arrival, room was clean and comfy. Will definitely stayagain on my next visit.

Great staff, very friendly and helpful. Lovely room, comfy bed and great spa. Bit pricey though. Overall, happy with our stay.

I took the wife here for our wedding anniversary and we were both so impressed with the size of room and cleanliness of the room staff were helpful and we will be back for sure loved it.

Pricey but a good hotel. Wi-Fi was pricey though and very slow.

Don't even bother going to this lousy apartment. Receptionist staff (with an elderly woman's voice) is extremely rude. Rude language from receptionist staff. Not worth it in a lot of centuries. Be warned. They are better apartments/hotels in Philip Island to go to. The Sea Horse Motel is by far better than the Waves Apartments rubbish. No star for this waves apartments, I only put 1 star because there is no O star which they are. Our friends have been there and they were not happy with the receptionist staff too. Below average place too. They will not be going there again.

The apartments are well equipped with a kitchen and bathroom. Everything looks clean. Excellent location.

Good clean rooms, comfortable bed and nice service staff. The room I stayed it would have easily catered for a family of 6. I was able to park my car in a secure lockup. The hotel is a good place to base an exploration of Phillip Island. It is a short walk to the beach, the ferry terminal and the main street.

Good hotel but views are obstructed by trees. Short walk to the main street with all the cafes and restaurants.

We enjoyed our stay, the room we had was well kept.

Stayed with the family for a night, pretty standard setup, ample parking and for us was quite at night. Would stay again.

Awesome place I get to stay there for free.

If you want your face eaten by bed bugs, this is the place to stay. My wife got a bad rash from a night of biting mites (I'd bought my own pillow thank God). Of course, its how events like this are handled that matter and the manager was fast and complete in her denial and indifference; immediately coming up with a number of other reasons for my wife's rash. Our unit could be divided into the living room/kitchentte with bunks and the main bedroom lounge. Unfortunately, the single air-conditioner is in the latter, so actually closing the adjoining door is impractical if its warm. You'll probably also need to re-make your bed after the staff do your room, our experience was a pull up of the doona, with no attention to sheets or liners that were tangled and not tucked in. A pity, as its a fairly convenient place to stay, close to the main street, right on the beach and good security and parking. Also a handy little free DVD library.
