Beautiful place to stay at (very clean) the houses are separate which was good and has everything you need… swimming pool for kids + adults + play ground available. Got a visit from kangaroos+ ducks+ rabbits which was lovely for the kids. The house keepers are excellent… stayed for about 3 months. We would come back thank you for your services 💕

Had Christmas lunch here today with my parents. Amazing food, service and a friendly environment. I hope they do Christmas lunch again next year as we would love to come back. Five stars.

Pros: easy check in with helpful staff explaining everything. Good range of facilities including several outdoor pools, indoor lap pool, pedal carts, tennis courts etc.
we had 3 bedroom cabin, was spacious rooms and good living areas to cater for us and our 3 boys. Resort is short drive to main town. Comfy beds cons: nothing too bad just a few little things we noticed. Indoor pool needed a regular clean as had hair and other things floating around. Shower caddy needed in showers. All these type of place never seem to have the right or enough kitchenware like strainers, sharp knives, larger serving plates etc.

Highly recommended beautiful place for families close to everything.

While there was no a/c or heating in the bedrooms, we were very comfortable & thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were very friendly, professional and helpful. COVID 19 restrictions interfered with our plans significantly but the staff made the best of it and ensured that we were looked after as well as possible. We have every intention to return for another stay in future. Loved the setup and quiet peacefulness of the place.

No AC in the bedrooms despite paying over $300 per night. Highly disappointed!

Great pools and grassed picnic areas lots of activity for kids and teens lots of cabins but surprisingly quiet just don't feed the possums they won't leave you alone. Had a great Australia Day weekend for my grandsons 14th birthday with 12 of his mates. Great place for it.

Nice place for a family getaway. Kids loved both the indoor & outdoor pools. BBQ facilities were very clean & there were many other facilities available like the gym, games room, sauna, spa… etc.
Kids were buzzing out when the lil wallabies were just outside their bedroom window. Very peaceful and quiet; away from the city’s hustle & bustle.

For the price they charge, the state of the rooms are unacceptable. The floors are a disgrace, as is the walls and outside decking areas. Would not recommend unfortunately.

The rooms are spacious, the staff are helpful, there has been a lot lacking when we arrived but the staff have been able to provide with the things we have needed. Unfortunately house keeping has let the side down attention is definitely required too this matter is imperative. Still love staying here though.

Good for families has great playground & kids can bring own bikes because has got great bike & walking track.

We stayed overnight and found no toilet paper and only two pillows for four beds they were delivered fast but our unit had no air conditioner or fans was extremely hot and stuffy. When we checked out questioned about fans and they didn’t care said some units don’t have any so make sure when booking you check what heating/cooling is in the unit.

Great location, beautiful cabins. Could use some better amenities in the cabins (more/bigger plates, cutlery), but altogether very good. I love that the beds have electric blankets and the outdoor spaces are lovely.

The location was reasonable (by car, can't walk anywhere useful) but the cabin was in disrepair, and nothing inside had been replaced or updated since the mid-90s. Plus it was freezing. I'm going to focus on this point. There was one heater for the whole place (living/dining /kitchen, bathroom, toilet and two bedrooms). And the heater was on a timer so it kept switching off. The bedrooms never got any warmth at all. In the middle of winter, this made the cabin almost unliveable. Probably better in summer (although only one aircon unit too), but avoid in winter. Reception staff were friendly but couldn't do much about the problems that matter.

When we found this place, we thought that it looked amazing from all the photos. When we arrived, we were greeted by one very friendly and welcoming staff who told us all about the amenities the resort has to offer. Wonderful! Upon arriving to the room, only to find that there's just one heater in the living area and none in any of the other 3 rooms. From the description I think it says that the cottage will have heater but nowhere it mentions that there's none in the rooms (P. S I called the hotel and used Expedia's messaging to get in touch but no response whatsoever). That's alright, we'll just have to snuggle real close and get under the warm and nice sheets, only to find that the sheet is filthy and dirty with stains. Our friend all the way from Mexico could not get a good night sleep because of how cold it is in the room. Don't get me wrong, the cottage and the resort offer more amenities than we can ask for and it even has a nice deck overlooking a large farm. I am usually very generous with giving 5 star feedback but this is the exception. Disappointed.

I enjoyed the resort and what it had to offer in general and it's beautiful surrounds. I was unimpressed with the staff at reception. I had trouble initially finding my bungalow in the dark as lighting wasn't great with the street signs. It took me 15 minutes to find the right turn. I had no toilet paper anywhere in the bungalow and about 3 tissues. Admittedly I organised my own but when I mentioned this to reception staff upon my departure, I received no apology or feeling… of remorse for the inconvenience or over sight. I also rang previously before check out to see if I needed to go to the office to check out or could leave the keys in the room, I was told I could just leave keys in the room but then upon double checking my room number, I was told I would need to take the keys to reception. Why? While I was at reception checking out, I thought I would ask re the breakfast voucher, a 2 for 1 offer. I was travelling alone and asked if it would have been possible to use it over two days. Simply asking a question after the fact and the lady in reception screwed up her face and said no. I felt she was just rude. I found when using the gym, their were children in there, approximately 12 yrs old, mucking around on the equipment. No supervision from parents or from staff. In the spa, 10 children, throwing a ball around hitting me in the head, again no staff around manning the health club. Where are the rules and safety regulations being enforced?

Beautiful natural surroundings. Great for families. The cottages have everything you need for a relaxing stay away from home. Great location and the kids loved the park, playroom and pool.

Venue was terrific, only down side could have been cleaner! Dirty floors, Windows and loads of large cob webs. Most of the varnish had worn off the timber/ply floors (also the wooden dining table) and they were very grubby! Important things were clean, toilet, bathroom and the beds. The beds were very comfortable and had nice linen. Cottages were well equipped and the resort had good facilities. Overall good time had and would visit again.

It's a pretty good place to stay for families. The grounds and facilities are well kept, there are a number of things for kids to do — playground, games room, pools, tennis courts etc. The rooms are dated but they're built of a good quality. The mattress absolutely need to be replaced — they're just too old. A number of the cooking utensils that are meant to be there weren't so these should probably be checked too. Overall of recommend this for a stay for families. It's a good location, affordable for what you get and overall comfortable.

We have a good time here with some unexpected fellows coming at night on the roof of the house. I'm pretty sure they were possums. Not an administrative fault from the resort but definitely they didn't make our nights very comfortable. I expected more for the price I paid though. Amenities are clean and Ok.

I found this resort to be fantastic, I really loved the cosy cabin feel and all the windows that cooled down the place and created a lovely breeze. The wildlife was really lovely to have around, I would definitely come back here! Thanks for a great trip to visit the penguins.

Love it. So casual and relaxed in such a beautiful bushland setting. Plenty to do for everyone or nothing if that's what you want. The facilities with the cottages, two health clubs with their pools, saunas, spas, tennis courts restaurant gymnasiums, games room, playground and BBQ facilities are great and all the staff are lovely and so helpful. It's our home away from home and less than 1.5 hours away.

Love this place! So quiet & relaxing; the units are bright and light, clean and well equipped. There is a games room and a gym available for guests. Also a good restaurant on site with reasonable prices.

The cabins are very comfortable and the staff are lovely. The whole grounds and wildlife are quite beautiful and tranquil with plenty of birdsong. The internet can get quite bad on the island in general. In our 2 bedroom unit we have an air conditioner and a ceiling fan in the kitchen but nothing in the bedrooms. I have heard that some places only had portable fans brought in for the 41º day. This is the reason they lose a star for me. I haven't been to the pools, spa, tennis court, gym or restaurant.

Pool was filthy. Room floors were not cleaned either. Everything was dated. Need a major renovation. Nice location if lifted the place could be a nice one. Silver Waters a much luxurious please. And great service.

Perfect for a family holiday. We stayed in a 3 bedroom cottage and was very happy with the size. Loved being at the beach then coming back to a country feel cottage. Peaceful and staff are super helpful! Price is reasonable too. Will definitely be returning.

Difficult to rate. If this was a resort as in its name, I'd do two stars. If more of a holiday park it's four star. It has all the items appropriate for a holiday park, except of course no caravans. It's changed names a few times, I think to capture an identity as it's not really walking distance to town. It is a great family park. The reception and food areas have limited opening times. The apartments are smaller than we thought, yet comfortable. A great destination for a holiday park. There are various room configurations from studio to family sized three bedrooms. Reasonably new.

I would have to question where they get their 4 star rating, this would be the worst place I have stayed especially for the price. Our unit was dirty, dishes had to be washed before we could use them, floor unswept, cockroaches dead and alive, the place is very run done. The photos do not meet the expectations of the place. The bbq areas were dirty, hadn't been cleaned for 3 days we were there, rubbish bins all over flowing and left on the ground for days, would swim in the pool or the spa area. Went to office because we had no toilet paper or dish cloths, not very helpful staff at all. We asked for paper towels to clean the bbq before we could use it, there is no water or cleaning equipment at the bbq area. Decking area around the Health Centre and restaurant are rotted away. Would not recommend this to anyone, will not be going back.

Rooms are nice, pool, spa, gym and game room are only open from 8am to 8pm. So there are no toilet available in that area when these facility's are closed. The restaurant/bar is only open at certain times and the liquor license is only from 10am. Staff aren't as up beat or perky so this is why I have rated this venue at 3, due to proximity and comfortable rooms. And there are no BBQs on the balcony. So that was definitely a let down.

This property is listed as a resort but in actual fact is more of a holiday park. I booked a studio spa room but when I turned up all the accommodation was cabins. Nowhere did it say this would be in a cabin! If I had wanted a cabin I would have booked a cabin. I would not stay here again or recommend it to singles/couples however it would be suitable for families. The native setting is lovely but the dead trees & abundant weeds need some attention. The native wildlife was lovely but the birds made an absolute mess of my car each night which made extra work for me on holidays. No shelf in shower is a pain. Unable to lock wire doors so if you go out the cabin is locked up to heat up & you couldn't sleep at night with wire doors unlocked.

We enjoyed the spacious self-contained units and the scenery. It has the feel of a cabin in the bush without being too rugged. Close to Phillip Island locations and main street shopping. Bathrooms are small but functional. Wildlife was a bit loud at night and early morning but I guess that adds to the charm. If you have hay fever, don't go here in the Spring.

I question the 4 star accommodation rating this resort has!
Whilst the resort grounds are quite lovely, the room we stayed in was filthy at best. I had to rewash glasses, crockery, cutlery, anything I wanted to use to feed my family. The top shelf of the dishwasher wasn't emptied so I found knives and tongs in there, couldn't find the cheese grater till I looked behind the couch. Dust and fluff on the floor, white socks became black, cobwebs hanging from the ceiling… the toaster almost caught fire from a paper pepper sachet in it, if cleaning staff had bothered to clean the crumbs from the toaster they maybe would have found that. I stayed here 2 years ago and thought it was fantastic, my second visit has showed the true colours of this resort, will not be returning. I'm shocked and appalled that Wyndham have their name associated with the 4 star rating.

Nice and quiet place to wind down. Cabins are well equipped and clean and homely. Location is perfect. The facilities provided are by far some of the best around. Nice pools and health club facilities and plenty barbecues around the resort.

The resort facilities were great, however, the room we stayed in was in major need of a renovation. The quality of the room was well below what we expected for a resort. The cleanliness was poor. There was still oil in one of the pans and lots of the utensils were missing. The breakfast was very ordinary. The cooked food was cold and the selection was poor. Unfortunately this turned us off wanting to have dinner at the resort. The general maintenance around the resort was not great. The decks needed a good sanding and painting. Staff were very friendly, but, it's not enough for us to want to stay at a Ramada Resort again.

This was our second stay at Ramada, last time (4 years or so, ago) it was just my partner and I, this time with our 3yo son. We discussed some of the recent reviews when booking with the Scoopon deal we used to get a very competitive price and some of the negative comments gave us pause, but we went ahead and booked anyway based on our previous experience. Overall everything was great, pleasant environs, nice facilities and playground for the little bloke, great view from the room we were in looking out over cows in the pasture. A nice private, quiet spot and setting. We had everything we needed, but those negative reviews, particularly about cleanliness, weren't just nit-picking, always-disgruntled types from what I can gather. Whilst the floors of the self contained unit we were in could do with sanding and re-staining/polishing to bring back a nicer feel to each unit (noted in other reviews) the key concern is the lack of thorough cleaning and vacuuming of these floors, in particular where the couches were up against the wall and window but the sun shining in and underneath that couch revealed way too many crumbs, debris and dust that just made you feel like a bit more care and time cleaning the floors and moving the couches out occasionally to clean in those sorts of places would be a great idea. Making sure there is no hair left in the shower recess on finishing the clean would also reinforce "clean" to the guest, but sadly this wasn't the case for us.

Fantastic stay. The rooms were very clean and services provided were perfect for families. Its a great place to stay if you want to feel secluded and in nature without being separate from other people. Location is just out of main street of Cowes so you have access to the beach and cafes without all the noise.

Together with friends we stayed at a 3 bedroom cabin that has 1 ensuite and 1 common bathroom and a separate toilet. The compound was huge with more than 100 cabins. There's a full kitchen but bring your own ingredients including oil. There are small packets of salt and pepper, coffee and tea. No scissors. Dishwashing liquids and powder provided. Cabins are old with slightly dirty sofas and floors. But the beds and toilets are clean. Bring your own soap and shampoos if you intend to stay longer. There's no soap dish in the shower but generally, well equipped and clean. The nights can be noisy with rain, wind and wildlife but its all good, unless u all a light sleeper. Make sure to close your doors to prevent sneaky wildlife stealing your food. Good place for a family getaway.

We booked for the weekend and was presently surprised with the accommodation. Exactly what were after, had everything and more that we needed. Was great for the kids too, playground, games area and the walking tracks were great. We will be returning for sure!

Nice place in a lovely tranquil setting. Rooms were up to standard. Great playground and games room for the kids. The biggest letdown was the restaurant.

Really friendly and helpful staff. The cottages are nice however there were no heaters in the bedrooms. Other then that it was a really nice place to stay.

Great recreational facilities especially the two pool and gym areas. Good cafes within complex and closeness to major attractions like the penguins, nobbies and racetrack. The accommodation units are dated and or not worn well. Floors were scuffed up and heavily worn down. Heating cooling not ducted around the unit, end rooms cold in winter.

The accommodation was fairly good. There was only one heater in the central room so it was a little slow to heat up the place. Otherwise no complaints. The drive to find the place once we checked in was a little harder than you might hope. The price was really good for the place I got, and reception were friendly. I left something and had to get it returned, and they were helpful assisting with that.

Ramada Resort Philip Island is a really great place to holiday with the family. Good location. Good sized apartments and rooms with full sized kitchen. Good facilities with multiple pools and tennis courts. Unfortunately the indoor pool/spa was closed for repairs and the outdoor solar heated pool was very cold. One of my favorite things about this resort is the bush setting. Every morning we wake to the sounds of birds and have breakfast as they walk and fly past. At night the other animals come out and the kids love seeing them close without fences in between. Great relaxing place to holiday with the family.

3 bedroom apartment was great. Quiet location with nice bush seperation between each apartment. Amenities all clean and modern, surprised by Wi-Fi in each apartment.

We are staying at the Ramada Phillip Island for our honeymoon (with our 2year old with us). It is lovely and spacious and with the rooms opposite it makes it easier for our toddler to settle in at night knowing we are close. The floors a bit wore but general wear and tear is expected. We were lucky enough to see a possum outside our room and the have enjoyed the birds in the trees singing merrily each morning as we walk down to breakfast. The breakfast buffet is huge and has something for everyone of all ages however it is a but pricey, and staff are delightfully cheery and happy to help which really ads to the resorts charm. We would definitely stay here again and will be a shame to go back to reality tomorrow. Delightful piece of paradise.

Our 3 bedroom was relatively clean although the bedroom had cob webs directly above where we slept and as I cleaned these, I noticed the picture frames looked like they hadn't been cleaned in months. Overall size was good and functional. Bbq areas were left filthy and the grease tray was overflowing on the floor as we were using it. Paid Wi-Fi was really disappointing-you pay enough per night for a room that Wi-Fi should be included. I was suppose to do some work but could not justify the expense. On a positive note, the Location was good within walking distance to wildlife sanctuary and a short drive to town. And nearby attractions.

Cabins were clean and well maintained. The outdoor barbecue makes it ideal for families wanting to keep it casual yet still enjoy the outdoors. The onsite activities will keep any family busy and keep the kids entertained if the parents need to relax a bit If you do stay here make sure you go across the road to the animal parl.

Reviews were a little off putting but went on reccomendation we are a family with 4 kids 2 adults — usually holiday on the Goldcoast doing theme parks and were looking for a more relaxed getaway. Loved location. Not too far from Amazn things/chocolate factory/penguins /beach. Our kids are aged 6-13yrs and they loved it! When they were too lazy to venture out we played tennis and hung out at the pools at the resort… choice of indoor/outdoor. The Cabins were clean beds were comfy and had all we needed. Even extra blankets and electric blankets in the kids rooms. Really enjoyed it booked in for a week in Christmas!

The vending machine located outside the gym failed to complete my transaction by receiving payment but withheld the product. The pizzeria says it opens from 5pm but was not open late at night. The remote for the TV was not working. No free Wi-Fi. No HDMI cable.

We stay here every year and is a fantastic place to stay on Phillip Island. The cottages are great and there's plenty to do with the kids.

Fantastic place, relaxing environment, 5 minute drive to town, wildlife all around. We had read some pretty bad reviews — but based on a recommendation, we went and were not disappointed. ** This is not a hotel (as I think some people must have expected based other feedback! ) — it is small 'cabin style' accommodation, but with all the amenities you could ask for in the 'cabins'. Air con, heating, TV, Kitchen, Spa etc. Etc. (yes you can plug in a USB or HDMI to the TV if you're a tech head) * Note — 'cabin' doesn't do it justice, but I use that term as it gives you an idea of size) We went in a quieter time (the week after the Grand Prix) so it was beautiful; I can imagine it might get a bit rowdy when in high season as it is good family-friendly accommodation. Pros: * Friendly staff, everything was clean * the Pizza Café and Bar/Restaurant were fantastic and great value * great resort for Kids * Gym/Pool/Fitness area if you're so inclined, but hell — it's a holiday! * close to town/beach — could walk in about 45m, or 5min by car Cons: * the units are pretty tightly placed together (within about 5m of each other). * great resort for Kids — so could get noisy * Spa rooms, whilst beautiful, are studio style — so kitchen and bed in the same room. If your other half gets up early and you don't, you will!

The villa was a bit rundown. Service was average, our check in time was late as they were still cleaning the place. Ok for an overnight stay or a pit stop.

Good: very comfortable and modern; well equipped; great pizza at the pizzeria Bad: ants in one bedroom; Wi-Fi very expensive, it's 2014, should be complimentary.

Great place for a trip, nice clean and has everything we need.

First visit to Phillip Island and even though it was winter it is an amazing place. Stayed at the Ramada Resort Phillip Island, great place to stay. The layout of the resort is very unique, villas are set amongst the natural landscape so gives you a real sense of being part of the destination. Villas (2 BR) were comfortable and well equipped, with a good reverse cycle air-conditioner to keep us warm. Had dinner from the pizzeria one night and into town for the second. Overall a great experience and would recommend the resort as a great place to stay, especially for families.

I have had lovely experience staying at Ramada! It's very close to everything. Like Nobbies, panguin parade, koala, etc. Area wide it's so huge. They will give you a big map to find your unit! I was impressed! You get your own self contained Unit with front and back private decks. Rooms are nice and clean. Kitchen is fully equipped with everything! One note is they don't have air conditioner so be careful if you're going in summer! I would definitely visit Ramada again.
