If you want to travel back in time into the 1887 USA or UK, you can save a lot of money and time in traveling. All you have to do, is to hop into your car and drive to 201-203 Melville Street, Numurkah about 3 hours N of Melbourne and you feel you have walked back in time and are greeted by long lost relatives — despite the time difference. Everything around is from that era and you soon forget that outside the gate its 2025. Chris and Duncan welcome you like they haven't seen you for ages.
Dedicated hands revived the old style of our sleeping quarter in the back yard (which was built before the main house) with historical furniture and decorations and created warmth and place our modern hotels into utopia. Who would expect fresh flowers for decoration at such a place?
Not just to sleep, but the best party can be held in the old shed, also in the backyard, which is decorated with an extravagant chandelier and appropriate furniture and is equipped for a few good drinks.

Just stayed here for my brothers wedding! Excellent stay! The owners Chris and Dunken were so lovely and accommodating! They treated us so well and accommodated our 3 year old like she was family. She spent the whole time looking and patting the cats and Lenny the dog. The food was outstanding! Some of the best breakfast we have had.
