Recently visited the hotel, service was very slow, waited 55 minutes for our order and when it came, my husband’s schnitzel was very average and my barramundi was dry and chewy around the edges and the mashed potato tasted odd. Disappointing experience, would not eat here again.

Food was food. Standard parmas, lovely people. Great beer garden and the live music (Bob the Muso) was wonderful.

We treated ourselves to Poachers take away Parma Night tonight and easily rate it 10/10. Absolutely perfect! Meals were hot and fresh with such a short wait time. They were absolutely flat out which was amazing to see the support from the town. Highly recommend to anyone wanting a night off cooking next week then of course to eat in once they're able to reopen! Thanks guys!

Ordered 2 kids meals and 2 adult meals obviously orders don't get handed to the kitchen staff in order of service as people ordering after me had their meals (including the same kids meals) come out before ours. Also the $35 steak meal was horrible, it tasted like it was old, had no juices, was a gray colour, and a slight smell. After telling the girl who took the order and collected the plates how bad it was, she just laughed and did absolutely nothing about fixing the problem. This is not acceptable customer service.

Fantastic food, second night there and both meals excellent. The staff very willing to assist and knowledgeable.

Just had the beef cheek, best beef cheek dish I’ve had. Crispy Brussels a real highlight to. Great wine selection very well priced.

Best beer in Victoria, great food too.

This rating is for the Poachers Paradise MOTEL at back of the hotel, which was closed when we got here. The Motel is a simply delightful place, in quiet location of this pretty little town. Neat, clean, tastefully decorated with lots of 'little' touches that make it so homely and special. Very helpful, friendly welcoming hosts. Absolutely charming! We will come again.

A wine festival on this week end so it becomes ahhh we don’t need your patronage there will be others so we will be rude arrogant and just flogs
All we did was ask about a table (we were already seated at one) to be told by the alleged manager to basically get up and leave because we really can’t be bothered and we don’t need your money we will be busy enough tonight
See how that cuts when you have no patronage when it’s quiet.

Fantastic! Room was spacious and super clean. Very comfy bed & huge bathroom too! Fresh milk and icy cold water waiting in the fridge upon arrival. Thankyou to Jayne for making our stay so comfortable! I particularly appreciated the aircon turned on before our arrival on such a warm day.

Could not give a greater recommendation. The staff are extremely welcoming and accomodating. We were arriving after hours and Jane made sure we had fresh milk in the fridge for a cuppa. Rooms are spacious and spotless. Cant wait to stay again. 5 Star+++

Delicious dinner (scotch fillet, and chicken schnitzel with seafood) Chips light and crisp and hot. Friendly service. Desserts looked good, but we were too full. Nice range of beers. Would definitely go back.

We stayed in a room with a spa it was a Very clean, cosy, comfortable room. Staff where very friendly and helpful. Good value also. If it had a bigger TV and a mini bar it would have received 5 stars from us☺️

Fabulous location, rooms very clean and tidy well appointed. Service exemplary from alerting us to a better route when our road closed due to fire, recommending dinner venue and genuine pleasure when we said how much we enjoyed our time in the town. Highly recommended.
