Just rocked up and the room was absolutely filthy. Bed hadn’t been made and there were stains on the linen, dirty towels on the floor, the toilet hadn’t been cleaned and it smelled like someone had smoked in there or something had gone off. Told the owner and she said her computer didn’t tell her the room hadn’t been cleaned. Apparently the computer system hadn’t been working for the last two days. Whilst she did offer to clean it straight away, when I got back to the cabin, my partner and I agreed that it was not ok. We both went back to the office and asked for a refund, which they honoured and we advised we were going to stay somewhere else and left. Even though they did offer a late check in and then later decided to offer a discount on our next stay, I just won’t be going back there, it made my partner and I feel absolutely disgusting. We ended up finding another motel that was not only cheaper but also in pristine condition.

We have stayed in both Cabins and Glampers in the last couple of years and cannot recommend Kanasta enough, Lisa Georgiou and Andy make us feel so welcome and nothing is ever too much trouble. Such a Great Family friendly park and so close to shops and the beach, just a short walk. Highly recommended.

Booked a cabin upgraded to their air b&b. Wonderful start to a holiday. Fantastic accommodation, friendly staff 5 stars.

I have been a regular visitor here for a few years. I highly recommend this small and sweet Caravan Park. High quality and comfortable cabins with attention to detail. Excellent location and lovely helpful staff members.

Took a tour of the glamping caravans, they look great.

Staff are friendly and helpful. Facilities are great. Most shops are within walking distance.

Great place with kids for a weekend getaway. Near peninsula hot spring and not far from Arthurs Seats. We stay in a 2 bedroom cabin which can accommodate 5pp, decent and clean.

The cabins are absolutely filthy we even found blood stains on the bed linen, there were spots that had never seen a vacuum. Was excited to cook on the first buy unfortunately the gas stove didn’t work and neither did the light in the bathroom when I went to have a shower. All together very below average experience.

One of the best caravan parks I have visited, it was very spacious for a small place and the colors splashed along in the caravan was beautiful. The service desk people were very kind and friendly, so was their adorable dog. Would travel back here for sure!

Great little park in Rye, VIC. Our cabin was beautifully remodeled recently with a double and two single bunks. Clean, bright and fresh. Feb/2018

Highly recommended… on short notice we rang as we were driving upto Rye a few days ago as we randomly decided to go upto visit friends and family and my boyz who were already in Rye. So we booked without seeing. And to our wonderful surprise; we were absolutely delighted to see! the cabins which are actually like when we arrived … and Lisa the owner is so wonderful to deal with… 7******* Brand new luxury

Cabin was a little bit dirty, pillows uncomfortable, mattress a bit hard. Neighbor likes loud music late at night made it hard for my kids to go to sleep.

Great place to stay but the actual room is smaller compare the photos on web.

We stayed in a lovely little 'glamping' cabin. Very neat and tidy inside, nicely furnished. The managers of the park are the real standout, we frequently came home quite late and to our surprise they were still awake and greeted us as we made our way back to our cabin at 11pm. It really makes a difference with such kind and considerate people looking out for you.

Great base to explore the mornington peninsula from. The kids love the playground.

The most run down place I've seen or stayed in! Very basic out-dated cabin with zero park facilities. Dogs in park also. Save your money and look else where.

No frill budget lodge with all the necessary items provided.

Very rude lady, the owner clinches his fist to hit my son in law, accused us off noise and property wreckage, when on camera it was not true, (we calmly tried to work it out) for my daughter of 15yrs is suicidal and we went to the beach at 11 pm for it was a hot night and at the beach, in the water the shadows did not follow her and she felt free for awhile, and we did make noise walking out for 2 minutes, but not for 3 hours as she said, stateing lies and being judgemental. And there so call gate that often breaks down. The place was left clean, Owner, didn't like the fact she was in the wrong about us, and did not like the fact my daughter and son in law handled themselves very well, and to the fact the husband was gratefull at this as well. Don't go there, never met anybody like it.

The cabin was dirty, the floor gritty, food under the lounge cushions & the table greasy. The side springs of the bed collapsed so felt as though we were falling out of bed all night. No bathroom fan & one of the lights in the bathroom blown. Suggested we may get a refund, not holding my breath.

Great little area to settle down and unwind. Campers would love the area!

The owners is nice and the room is clean. The location is pretty near to the beach if you are lazy to drive. It will only take you 5-10min walk to the pier and enjoy the sea view. Too bad I'm struck to raining day. I only can stay in my caravan. Overall experience is good.

We are over for a few months from England, staying in Melbourne and wanted a base near the beautiful Mornington Peninsula to explore the local area. We stayed for two nights in a family cabin and had a fantastic time. Helen and the other staff at the site were really friendly and helpful. The cabin was clean, comfortable and compact — just what we needed for our family of four. The information book was really helpful with information about the area and nearby things to see and do. It also included take away menus — we ordered in one night — fantastic! We would definitely stay again. Thank you!

Great friendly service, but the pictures deceived the room. Bed was uncomfortable, but I had no choice but to withstand the pillows and mattress. Went home very sore and in pain. The whole room was different to the pictures — — outdated and tiny. But a pleasant atmosphere around the site, which was wonderful to live around.

Staff were very friendly, very quite nice place to stay. However the cabin we stayed in was quite outdated and the bed/pillows were uncomfortable. If the rooms were updated this would be an awesome place to stay.

We stayed last year Jenny and staff are excellent get you're deck cleaned daily and away from main road and quiet every January we'll be back.

Keepers & staffs here were friendly, and gave lot of helps in my trip definitely will come back here if I visit sorrento again.

We chose Kanasta Caravan Park for our 3 day stay in The Mornington Peninsula. The price and quality of the cabin and the excellent friendly service made us not want to leave. Jenny and Murph are that special type of people that you warm to instantly and feel like you have known them for years. For value for money we would recommend Kanasta always! A home away from home!

I can't even express in words, I love Jenny (her family just took over ownership), she is the most pleasant, wonderful woman. She is a true gem… and a lifesaver! She is the best, we need more Jenny's in this world!

Manager was so rude before we'd even paid so we just left! I've never seen anything like it.
