Quality Hotel Point Cook got good marks for comfort and cleanliness. The room was spacious and had everything we needed, with the possible exception of a second armchair for the second guest. However, the score was reduced by the fact that the restaurant, although included as a facility in the advertising, was closed for both dinner and breakfast, meaning we had the significant inconvenience of having to eat elsewhere. The inconvenience was exacerbated by there being exactly no warning of the unavailability of on-site meals.

Room key locked out 1 hour before check out time.
Cleaner does not clean the room correctly found other stayers items under the bed.
I Highly recommend not staying here an looking at other negative reviews save your money.

6 hours later I was charged 300 under false claims the evidence they sent 2 hair strand folicles.
Avoid this hotel the staff do not care cleaner doesnt clean trash found under bed pool. Isnt heated at all. Freezing.

Before making a decision don't be another victim.

On arrival NO one was at reception, a wedding was happening with guests all over the place and it was beyond loud.
Then to our room fridge was so blocked with ice where it shouldn't have been, and before you say anything that is my trade (air & refergeration) it had to be defrosted. Guessing air conditioner filter is not clean either being do high up.
Then came the bathroom. The shower still had someone else's used soap in. No wrap on toilet, so are wondering if the room had even been cleaned.
This made is check everything. Missing a fork, drinking glass, no bread & butter plates, toaster had cracks in it.
Yes they changed our towels daily and if luck they refilled coffee & tea caddy. So in the end we went and bought our own. Not good when you have paid $850 plus took credit card number for a $300 deposit.
Needs a lot of work & money spent on it — Gardens, Clean outside chairs, a book on area and premises in the room, also do something about the dirt bikes next door leaving plooms of dust in air.
Restaurant food very nice, pity they don't advertise it but it needs to be upgraded.

I booked a studio villa (cheapest and most basic accommodation) as somewhere to stay while visiting a friend in Point Cook. The staff were very pleasant to deal with and were good about explaining things and giving directions in relation to the accomodation.
The room itself was basic but clean and perfectly adequate for an overnight stay. I was impressed that there was a little kitchenette with a separate sink; most places, the only sink is the bathroom one. I don’t feel comfortable giving the place 5 stars, though, as there’s a strong musty kind of smell and the furniture and bedding looked very tired even if the place was clean.
The bathroom itself looks very modern and clean with toiletries. The only thing: I went to open the shower cap box and it was completely empty. Very annoying when I wanted a shower in the evening without needing to wash my hair.
There’s a restaurant on site but it’s only only at breakfast and around three hours for dinner. Have deducted a star for this; rather, am just letting readers of this review know in case they need room service. In saying that, there’s Sanctuary Lakes Shopping Centre with a Sub Way, Pizza Hut, etc and a McDonalds just down the road. Could either get something from there if need be or get Uber Eats.

Do NOT Book This Hotel in Winter – Poor Heating and Unprofessional Service.
Despite the room being nicely presented, my stay at Quality Hotel Point Cook (Seasons5) on June 1st was incredibly disappointing due to serious heating issues and unhelpful staff.
I checked into Room 5 at 9:00 PM. Despite setting the heater to 27°C and waiting over an hour, the room remained uncomfortably cold. I reported the issue to the night staff, who admitted that other guests had complained about the same issue. He offered to move me to Room 7, but the room had the same problem. The heating simply did not work.
By 11:25 PM, I had no choice but to leave and search for another hotel nearby. I requested a refund of the $140 I had paid, explaining that I wasn’t cancelling by choice—I was leaving because the hotel failed to deliver what was promised: a warm room with functioning air conditioning, as advertised. He refused and instead told me to call back at 8 AM and speak to someone in the morning.
I left the hotel before 11:30 PM without using any of the facilities—no toilet, no shower, nothing. I did not stay the night.
The next day, I called and spoke with a woman who claimed to be the shift manager. Unfortunately, she was even less helpful—refused to listen, immediately got defensive, and acted as if nothing was wrong.
I clearly explained that the room didn’t meet the advertised standards, and their refusal to acknowledge or resolve the issue was completely unacceptable.

One of the Worst Stays I’ve Had – Extremely Disappointing.
I stayed at an apartment at Quality Hotels Point Cook on the 13th of May 2025, and unfortunately, it turned out to be one of the most disappointing accommodation experiences I’ve ever had.
The room was advertised as having a king bed, but in reality, it was two smaller beds pushed together. Throughout the night, the beds kept separating, making it impossible to sleep comfortably. I woke up with a sore back, which completely ruined the start of my day.
To make matters worse, the TV didn’t work at all — no signal, no service, nothing. It was simply non-functional. On top of that, the apartment was shockingly dirty. There were visible coffee stains on the wall behind the couch, and thick layers of dust and grime under and around the furniture. It genuinely felt like someone had just moved out and no cleaning had been done before our arrival.
Despite being told this was one of their “best apartments, ” the condition and overall experience were far from acceptable. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, and honestly feel there should be an option to leave 0 stars.

Very comfy stay! The rooms were spectacular no fault there, felt very personal with relaxing beds.
Staff were easy going but be ready for the bond charge that was even more expensive than our stay there. The bond-taking stands out the most because I think it's a silly system. The restaurant tagged on the side there is really good, the food was super surprising (chips and calamari was great) (p. S garlic bread was crispy goodness) also portion size felt good too.
Location wise, not the best in terms of things to see and do outside of the hotel (maybe see the water), but I find that our stay was good for the services on site such as pool and spa. We just wanted a bit of R&R and I think we got that with the onsite amenities.
Overall great for a relaxing pitstop whilst on a long drive or a much needed reset.

The rooms are very spacious, clean and tidy. The bed was very comfortable. The grounds looked neat and tidy. We didn't get time to check out the other amenities as we checked in after 8pm and left about by 7am the next morning. Shopping centre close by to purchase supplies. Great size bar fridge. And carparking right at the front door.
As everyone else mentions in their reviews — the $300 bond is over the top and it took about 5 days for it to be returned to my account.

We had a nice stay here for the Avalon Airshow, the room was great, the pool was heated & and the staff were nice.
The only negative on the room was that the TV remote was missing & and the body wash in the shower was empty.
It's not worth a damaging review ⭐️ but the $300 bond is ridiculous!
Side note on a local attraction just up the road.

Booked accomodation there for the family 3-4 months ago. Received a confirmation booking at the time and also 4 days before arriving. Upon arrival after our 2hr drive with the family we were turned away as “Dia” (manager) stated our booking was cancelled and they were fully booked. I never thought I’d make a review of mention anyone, however maybe this will prompt some action from them (most likely not) however the lack of responsibility taken Booking is still active on the Choice hotel app and also I received a confirmation email just days prior, unfortunately although Dia said sorry, that didn’t help my family find accommodation for the night. Dia wanted us to pay more money to stay in another accommodation they had. Unfortunately an email and confirmation number wasn’t good enough and blamed her internal system as a system error. When she agreed to get a room over my families head she changed here mind and said it was now booked. Lucky Choice was able to sort my with some accomodation in Melbourne CBD for the night, even know it was another hours drive away. Unfortunately the staff at point cook don’t realise how much inconvenience they really caused for a family. I hope for my kids sake this isn’t the world we have moving forward, however I’m scared for them.

This has got to be one of the nicest places I've ever stayed. I'm not sure if the older reviews here were prior to a makeover, but I found my room modern, comfortable & clean. The bed is probably the best I've ever experienced in a hotel. The well equipped kitchenette in the room was an unexpected bonus. The place was clean and the staff were excellent. The need for a $300 bond up front is unusual, but in chatting with them they have had damage and smoking issues so felt they needed this approach; it is located in a somewhat lower socio-economic area on the very fringe of Melbourne, so I guess that can happen. Very quiet and peaceful with great access to Werribee, RAAF Museum etc. And very easy to get to the M1.

This is one of the worst places I have ever stayed and I have been in the travel industry for almost 30 years. It does not even rate the one stay I have had to give to get this information/complaint out.
After flying down from Sydney and staying for 3 nights my bond of $301 was not returned to me because they said that there was dog hair in the room after my stay. I DON'T EVEN HAVE A DOG! They lied and did not even take the time to consider what I had to say. Reading the reviews it seems that I am not the only one that has been scammed by this property. I have filed a complaint with Consumer Affairs Victoria.

I have just stayed 5 x nights at Quality Hotel Point Cook and am very impressed, great friendly staff and my room was serviced every day without fail.
Excellent value for money and if you are looking for somewhere quieter than this is the place for you, shopping center 5 minutes up the road for anything you need.
I used the GYM and loved the indoor pool.
In 3 weeks', time I have to go back to Melbourne for work again and I will be going back to Quality Hotel Point Cook.

I give Quality Hotel in Point Cook … ZERO STARS! Be aware. They are scammers and will tell you anything after you have checked out about your room just to keep you $300 bond. Do not trust them. Do not stay there under any circumstances!

Worst Experience Ever.
If you value your money, stay away from this motel! I paid a $300 deposit, and despite following all the rules, they refused to return it. The management was completely unprofessional and disrespectful. It seems like they make money by scamming their customers. Absolutely disappointing and shameful! I strongly advise against booking this place under any circumstances.

I stayed in a Two-Bedroom Apartment for two days and one night. Here’s how the experience went.
Pros:
Location: Quiet and peaceful, with barely any noise at night. Conveniently located about 10 minutes from a mall with Coles and Kmart. It’s a 40-minute drive from the airport.
Spacious Rooms: The apartment was massive, with a living room separating the two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. The setup was perfect for a family.
Comfortable Beds: The beds were incredibly soft and cozy—definitely a highlight of the stay.
Smart TV: Access to YouTube, Disney+, and Prime Video added a modern touch to the room’s amenities.
Friendly Service: The front desk staff were kind, accommodating, and helpful, especially when we requested a late checkout.
Cons:
Cleanliness: Some issues with cleanliness, including carpet stains and dirty towels on arrival and after room cleaning. Bugs were also a problem at first, with mosquitoes, flies, and spiders present, likely due to the proximity to a lake.
Bond Fee: A $300 AUD bond fee was required, so it’s important to document any pre-existing issues in the room to avoid disputes.
Final Thoughts:
Despite the initial challenges with cleanliness and insects, the spacious layout, serene location, and excellent service made for a pleasant stay. If you’re looking for a peaceful and spacious accommodation, this could be a good option. Just make sure to report any issues to reception promptly!
