Hoodoo Gurus were amazing Sat night! Had a thoroughly awesome time. Thanks must go to the event staff and management at the Shoppingtown Hotel who went above and beyond to ensure everyone had a great night. Still smiling and dancing on the inside.

Love the service and the food, my husband and I are happy to eat there, the prices are great.

I love teaching my Mini Maestros toddler music classes here in the kids party room! Great space, helpful staff and the kids love the room and play area after music!

Steak advertised at $20 in bistro for lunch and dinner. We where told only available for dinner. We went for lunch as it was Mum's favourite, we had come from Mum's funeral.

Attended for the first time for a friend's 50th. Dinner and the show Babba. Food was really nice. Pumpkin soup and a choice of chicken or salmon for main. I had the salmon. Delicious. The menu said coffee and cake or coffee and dessert. There was no coffee plus we had our own cake. Service was good. They cleared the tables quickly once we'd finished our meals which was great. The $10 Cosmopolitans were awesome. Large dance floor. Would go again.

Amazing venue. Went to see screaming jets. Clean, bathroom was clean, bar staff were excellent.

The staff and service was fantastic. They were quite full due to the event we had attended (Dinomania) but they managed to find us a table and we were served promptly. Food was good. Kids play area was quite good as well.

Went to have a drink in the beer garden on a Sunday. But the last 3 times I have been here it has been booked out for a private function. Would be nice if the public beer garden was open to the public. Horse racing is blaring over the speakers in the bistro.

Nice looking hotel. Well set up with everything. Very friendly service. Although the food was nice, it took more than 30 mins to be served. Otherwise it was a satisfying dining experience.

Advertised weekend "kids entertainment" is a joke. All 'free' video games not operating. Paid ones taking everybody's money just fine. Overall, shitsville.

Had dinner with a group of friends. Nice place, nice food but not the best. Service was quite good even though they were very busy. However, they took awhile to bring food out. Kids have a play room that looked quite fun. Will likely visit again.

Bistro service very slow. We have been here 1hr15min and no main course. We were assured it would be 4min till main — far more than that. Noise levels very bad with large groups and little sound cushioning. Only came as we are attending an evening performance here. Hmm… won't be returning. ☹️

Good food with flavour. The place os a bit of a barn and the pokies dominate. Feels more like a NSW club but overall satisfactory.

Nice quiet relaxing outdoor areas with very good view. They also have a play area for kids which is very convenient. The food however was average. It's the usual buffet but they ran out of the better food when we're here for lunch the other day.

Got the ribs, yum, entre ribs aswell, yum. Kids pasta good. Nutella churros, very nice. Kids ate free on Thursdays with a main meal.!

One of my favorite places for a family meal. Friendly service and good size portions. Visit on a weekday for some great specials.

Went for lunch on a Friday. Staff were friendly. Meals were generous servings and our group of four all enjoyed them. Shanks, peri peri chicken burger, garlic prawns and salt and pepper calamari.

Very large, great menu selection and fast service. Not too loud however parking is a bit strange, better signage would help a lot!

5 star view towards the city! Texan Parma was nice and service was good. If you like a venue with brickies laptops then this place would be for you but there is a separate tab area and restaurant aimed at families with a play area for kids.

Is intimate but busy. There is multiple seating options including an outdoor option. Seniors menu is also available.

Medium rare steak was chared and cooked like a boot. Inedible. The parma was pretty good. Staff were friendly. Just stay away from the steaks.

Went there for Christmas lunch buffet. Food was average what you'll expect for a buffet but they kept running out of the better foods. Massive 10min+ waiting in line to get the hot foods. Not too noisy but some at our table were complaining. Nice quiet relaxing outdoor areas with very good view.

Had dinner and drinks on Friday night here. Steak was OK however the time frame it and the rest of my family's meals were delivered in was excessive and the staff took no responsibility for the delay and blamed it on the kitchen. Not even a sorry. Could definitely brush up on their customer service skills.

We decided to go for a nice Sunday afternoon with our two boys for a few drinks and dinner. Well after we ordered our meals and paid we sat there for 25 mins only to have the waiter walk over and say sorry the kitchen is closed now here is your money back. Well after I spoke to the manager he said you got a refund what more do you want? Our dinner would have been nice? Give this place a BIG MISS!

Went on Monday and the lamb was badly burnt. When we raised this with the staff, it was dismissed without a proper acknowledgement. Didn't take a photo of the burnt lamb… should've though…

Great venue for live shows. Reasonable food and great for its value. Excellent dancing space. Recommended for organising a private function.

This is a great place for families. Good kids menue & a seniors menue. Also a kids playroom.

For a pub, the food here is surprisingly good. Really nice view of the city up so high.

Quite good lots variety of shops. Plenty of eating places. Not bad.

I just need a comfy bed and hot shower. That is what I got. Little balcony was such a bonus. Menu in room with great food choices. Great location just opposite 'everything you need' mall. Beautiful Peter Alexander jammies and cheap foodcourt. Easy taxi pickup. Come and check out for yourself. Till next time… you will see me for sure.

After following the steps down the hill, a very friendly and warm sports bar, TAB venue. Only used the bar/gambling. Very modern looking and good number of rooms in attached accommodation.

It's a great venue but a bit pricey especially on entertainment nights the drinks are outrageously priced.

Went there to play some pokies. Pretty good selection of old and new machines. Not into gambling? The view outdoors opposite the bar is pretty nice.

The venue is nice and the kids room is what brings us in. The food is below average and not cheap. We've eaten there a few times and it has genuinely gotten worse each time. After the most recent time we definitely won't give the food another chance; on a quiet Monday night we had to wait for ages only to be served burnt food (that was somehow cold as well) and an incorrect meal that took a very long time to be replaced without any mention of an apology. I think the fact that the receipt had the correct order on it clearly signals that the kitchen made a mistake. The staff are friendly though; good place to have a beer and that's about it.

Often have our family get togethers here as it is perfect for our wide spread locations. Meals have always been good in the past, although a little disappointed with yesterdays. A couple of us had the duck, which was supposed to be crispy skinned with jasmine rice. No crispy skin and the rice was just plain. Same story with the salmon. A couple of other comments saying the meals were OK, whereas we are usually raving about how lovely they are. Service, as always, was good and the desserts were lovely. Maybe there has been a change of kitchen staff? Won't stop us coming back though.

A shopping centre in one of the outdoor areas of Doncaster. The mall has practically everything you need, from a supermarket, electronic stores, fashion, hair… plus it has a special charm, so to spend the afternoon is also a good option. It is also focused on the children, than sure that you will not be bored.

Major hotel complex that has multiple areas caters for the needs if locals. Great views of the CBD, parking is a slight issue eased somewhat by the shopping centre across the road.

Excellent hotel to go to. Food is great as well. Wi-fi could be a possible improvement but overall a great place.

Terrible food, the order came out wrong and when it did there was no offer to replace or refund. The rooms were terrible and unlearn. Won't be coming back ever again.

Disgusting! I watched one of the waitresses drop a fork on the floor, then pick it up and serve it with oysters. I asked for the manager to inform him. I have never seen such a sorry sight of a man. I informed him of the issue expecting him to be at a loss for the despicable standards. All he could do was mumble that they were really busy and didn't have time to worry about minor things. Minor, MINOR! I regret eating here I have no idea what they did to my food if they were willing to do that to another person.

The manager swore infront of my children. Average food. I went there for a family atmosphere but had a steak cooked to a crisp when I asked for medium rare. I really was'nt fussed and just asked a waiter and she said she would sort it out. The manager then came out flustered and asked "would I really like another f**king steak" and offered a refund instead because aparently the kitchen was backed up. This is not okay! My kids Dont need to hear an ugly fat bald man swearing!

The queue to order your food is too long and given poor priority. I asked why there was not a second person taking orders, only to be told it is designed not to overwhelm the kitchen. I said I would rather wait at my table socialising than stand in a frustratingly long queue wondering what the heck is happening. This is POOR customer service. The food is pretty good.

I have eaten here 3 times now but never again. On a good day the food is below average on a bad its appalling. I have never had occasion to complain about a meal but last night I did and the response was equally poor. Don't eat here unless you are desperate.

Stayed here on business and found it was perfect. Everything onsite including bar, restaurant and pokies. Room looked like it had gone through a refurbishment. Well done.

We booked a kids function for 40 people here on the weekend. We called twice in the lead up to the function to ensure that our space was reserved. When we arrived, we found it hadn't and the only "apology" we got was from the manager Angie who repeatedly said that "she understood" and "appreciated" our problem, but wasn't willing to do anything about it. The rest of the staff were lovely and did everything they could to help.

Staff r shocking the beer keeps running out boags that is staff r very rude.
