I will highly not recommend this club. Specially if you have a darker skin tone. People ruin the vibe by being racist and really frustrated. This is the worst night club I ever been to and probably one of the worst patriots I’ve ever met. Will never come again. Thank you for the warm hospitality.

It's a Small but great live band venue, they get good crowd! DJs are great too! and ok lol I am in industry but live the venue!

They advertise bands to start at a certain time, and they don’t come on until an hour after they are advertised. We came here to see 80’s enuff at 10pm it’s now 10.40 and no band in sight. Security said they might be on by 11. Pm. Why don’t they just come on when they are supposed to?

Great food, great staff, ample parking, seniors card discounts available and children's menu. Have been there many times and will visit many times more in the future. We had a problem with our lemon squash in that there was no taste but the barman replaced the drinks and was willing to substitute the drinks again if we were not satisfied. Great service!

Totally totally disappointed! I would not recommend this establishment to anyone with special dietary requirements. At a recent function there was no understanding of coeliac food needs. The entree was served on the same plate as foods containing gluten, main meal contained stuffing made from wheat. There was a total lack of understanding, questioning “how sensitive” she was and despite numerous discussions with senior staff they still glutened my daughter. Sorry just doesn’t cut it! Not only ruined her night, but much of the weekend too. Poor customer service, staff with no awareness of what’s going on around them made for a disappointing experience. No recommendations from here.

Booked accommodation after a wedding, we though we were booking a nice room in a hotel but got a dated looking room at the back of the complex in the motel building. Poor signage and misrepresented images on their website and booking domains showing nicer looking rooms. Not at all what I expected. As a plus, staff were lovely and very helpful.

Good overall standard pub/bistro meals. Average around $20-$25 for a main and good bar prices $7-$8 for most beers and wine. Small kids play area but big plus being indoors.

Love the blues bands on Sun afternoon. Especially Sammy Owens. Brilliant. Don't stop having live music. Damn pokies have almost destroyed the live music industry. Also would like to commend the staff. Nice people.

We celebrated my nephews 5th birthday last night. The meals were sensational. Everyone was happy!

A nice meal and drinks were had in the bistro for a birthday I attended. Way better than the Christmas meal I had two years ago that was horrible. This time the service was quick and friendly, the meal was tasty but a tad expensive. It's amazing what a change of chef can achieve.

We had a really good experience at the Dorset Gardens last week. I've only rated it 4 stars because it is an older motel but, it served it's purpose well. We were very comfortable, the place was clean and housekeeping came the following mornings to change our towels and toiletries. The bar fridge had pots of milk inside, and there was a kettle and biscuits as well as tea & coffee on hand. We best describe this place as having character, it had a 1960's/70's feel to it. The beds were really comfortable and having a bath tub to soak in after long days out was lovely. Having aircon was also nice, the room was really good value for money. The casino in the main building had a restaurant and the bar served food all day. We at the chicken parmigiana, and the meal was enough for two. A generous serving for a fair price. Nice service at reception and free Wi-Fi.

Mixed reviews from friends and family but because of convenience & living local we suggested the dirty… Never fails to live up to its reputation. Food is very average, I don't know why we keep giving this place more chances. This place will turn a meat eater vegetarian. If you want over cooked everything and luke warm upon arrival, knock yourself out! Chefs really don't care. The Wait staff are always nice, that's a plus!

We were there last night for the Australian Matchbox Twenty tribute band. Travis and the whole band didn’t disappoint! You’re guaranteed that every time they’re there, I’ll be there! Loved happy hour! It was REALLY hot in there so I asked a lovely girl behind the bar to see if they could turn the air con up… and they did! Only one complaint, the sticky floor… I almost lost my shoe on a few occasions, other than that we had an absolute blast!

Had roast pork, the portion size good veggies overcooked and soggy. Meal was borderline cold. Not good. .

Was well priced for just a nights stay. The apartment room needs a bit of maintaining as walls have cracked but the bathroom and kitchen were fine.

Bar food is awesome and pretty well priced, staff are super friendly.

Nice people but the rooms especially the bathroom needs an update. Mould and peeling paint above the shower, water pressure not great. The rooms need a small microwave for reheating food or6drinks. Needs way better coffee and extra coffee, praise God we brought our own coffee and milk. On the plus side, beds are extremely comfortable. Won't be back as the stairs outside you have to walk up are somewhat hard for someone with arthritis like me and for my husband to climb who have emphasmia to climb. Not worth the money spent to be honest, no breakfast either.

Bistro food is good but a little pricey.

Had a great Christmas Lunch. Great food, live music through the year, cold drinks and helpful staff. Not a small venue but great for a group or casual night out.

Only stayed the night in one of the rooms. Basic and clean. That's all you need here. Did not use the entertainment facilities. Monday night, quiet. Good for a quick stay.

A good place to have a meal, play pokie if you are into it and hold a meeting. A bus stop is located just outside (route 737).

Nice clean room, a little dated but excellent value. Excellent bistro and other hotel facilities. Great Eastern suburbs location.

Relatively expensive considering the type of venue. Very large serving sizes, but unexceptional food. Great table service.

Worst motel we ever stayed at. Just spent a night there and it was aweful. Room was ok but the drunk and drug infused people seem to like this place because they can do whatever they want, it seems. If you like listening to druggies and drunks having very loud sex for several hours because they are having the trip of their lifetime, this is the place to be. Otherwise stay away from this place.

Recommend Dorset Gardens highly. The food is always excellent and the staff are are very friendly and efficient. I travel out of my area to visit often.

Saturday nights are much better than Friday's. The bottle o is always relatively priced. If I was a bit older then I would enjoy it far better in the club. I am 20

We went to the nightclub and it was alright. Not my type of music but was a good night. Reasonable prices.

Slowest service ever. Staff look grumpy. Better off eating in the sports bar. Our desert never came even after being asked twice.

Stayed 4 nights. Room comfortable and clean, well stocked. Staff friendly and helpful. Very enjoyable stay.

The music could not be worse. How hard is it to play to the crowd? I complained to the staff and was told the key is to get hammered, but I'm not sure their could be enough alcohol available…

The sports bar has a very comfortable atmosphere, the service is great, everyone including security treats all patrons with respect, highly recommend.

Dorset has a pokie venue nice customer service local bottle shop next door and local bingo centre footsteps away.

Food was served very quickly and was extremely delicious. Pricing is reasonable. Lots of parking to choose from. Overall amazing place to eat at. Would happily recommend to friends and family.

Floors are soo bloody sticky. We end up leaving early, spent more time peeling our shoes off the floor then anything else.

Food was awful. Chicken was dry. Salad was old. Chips were soggy. Cheese was bad.

Played a couple of rounds of pool There, tables are pretty good… have quiet a bad role though. Otherwise was good.

Food was below average. ran out of schnitzels so no parma for me. Would have gotten a better feed from service station food. Definitely not returning.

Lamb shank was tender and a substantial meal. Salmon salad was tasty and a generous portion. Service was very good.

We had a luncheon table for 8 in the Bistro mid week. The food was wonderful (compliments to the chef) and the service was very good. No waiting at all for the food. Have now been there 4 times this year and enjoyed each time. Well done Dorset Gardens.

The DJ plays a great mix of tunes and even plays your requested songs. Lol
The singer in the band they had Saturday night sounded terrible and she was on for too long. They would of been better off just having the DJ play all night.

Good price. Rooms are dated but clean and comfortable. The stairs need regular sweeping. We stayed for a few nights and they were quite dirty the whole time.

Played bingo at dorest gardens. The room was huge, heating was good, great lighting and audio was loud and clear. TV was a distraction at one point during bingo game.

After a six year beeak from this restuarant and deciding to return for a meal this evening was of the highest quality meals even eaten at this restuarant. Chefs should be proud of the quality produced.

I really enjoyed my time there. We played bingo and the staff were really friendly and helpful. The rooms were a great size. The cafe staff were quite rude to us when ordering a coffee though, and they did not get the order right and we felt we couldn't say anything about it because they were already quite snappy at us for no reason. Will be bringing a coffee from home next time we go.

Good outer suburban pub. Sports bar is more than adequate. Several pool tables. Good bistro around the corner. Not overpriced.

Went for dinner in the bistro. Service and food and prices were very good.

You get what you pay for. It's Rated as 3.5. The rooms were barely passable, the food plentiful but not great. The staff friendly. The only reason to go out is your way is for the sports bar.

Went to play the pokies in a Thursday night. They had a members' event on, so it was really busy. Good atmosphere. Love Peter Panner and love the gamers' hot chocolates.

I had the Seafood Risotto. It was bland and parts of the Seafood were hard and chewy. The wait staff took forever to come to the table, so much so that some people were suggesting we had to go up to order. Once ordered the food came out quickly. They still have their free self serve rolls which is nice, and they were happy to split the bill for a big table.

We went for a business lunch? Sat in the beer garden. Service was quick and polite, food was great.

Lots of parking. Location isn't near anything, but is in a central area. Wait staff are attentive. Food was well cooked, but over done with extras and portion sizes. Gambling area has mainly pokies. Has a free coffee/hot chocolate machine.

The meal was to big and the tastes where to strong. Ordered a meal with pancetta and it came with bacon instead. If you like large meals that will assault your taste buds this is the place for you!

The band is great. Unfortunately the DJ is a fool that only plays one genre of awful awful what some call music. He'd be better off playing doof doof in his parents basement where he obviously learnt his vast music knowledge. — 3 stars for the putrid DJ alone.

Came for the Christmas Service. Started with an Antipasto Platter which was ok then butternut soup with pine nuts. Again it was just ok and nothing to write home about. Roast Turkey main was dry and taste burnt and was the worst part of the meal. Creme Brule was my choice of desert and was the best part of a very average meal. Cheese Platter to finish off was a nice touch. Won't be hurrying back as there are much better pub meals to be had at better pubs. Masses of parking with some shade. Smokers room and pokies were not visited this day.
