Rooms are spacious, well appointed and serviced well. Avoid the restaurant as the food is hit and miss and some of the staff are quite rude and incompetent.

Location if not needing the inner city is great. The two restaurants downstairs are amazing. Room is very clean and big. Free undercover parking. Room was good value. Can't fault it except, I want to stay longer. Highly recommend 🤘🤘

We have regularly attended for meals and had a great comfortable stay once too!

Tv not working. Shower Luke warm the next morning. Endless noise of hoons in cars. Not a quite room either.

Our neighbours kept slamming the door from 4am and the mattress was horrible and the heater was so noisy.

Highly recommended. Great hotel. Excellent service. Will definitely be back.

I booked a room for the night for myself, partner and son. I do not own a credit card but as there policy they require a credit card. This does not bother me as I understand that is there requirement. It's the fact that she said she was going to call me to ask if I had one but instead thought it would be better if she wasted our time by making us still travel out that way to only be declined at reception. She was also rude and obnoxious. Will not be trying to stay here again and definitely don't recommend.

We stayed in a new room, it was well appointed, very clean and comfortable. Check in and check out were both easy, meals were great.

I booked a room at around 5:00 am this morning for a same day stay, the receptionist who answered the phone advised because it's the last minute you need to prepay which I did. I had an emergency occur at 1000am so I called the receptionist at mercure grand and had advised her I cannot stay there. I asked her if I could get a refund for the room I was charged for or if someone else could stay there on my behalf. She advised that she will get back to me if I could receieve one. When I asked her when will that be she advised that my check in is at 1400, hence no listening skills, then when I repeated the question she advised in a impolite tone, "once I find out". Lo and behold it is now 1525, five hours after my return call and one hour past my check in time and guess what guys no return call. If this hotel can't do a basic task like ringing guests back within five hours, then they have no hope if a difficult task arose. Why is customer service important? because it increase the amount of money each customer spends with your business. So in the future I will be definitely staying at other hotels. A Courteous return phone call on the outcome was all I needed, But when you keep someone's money without advising on the final outcome it is wrong.

Was great. Shopping center across the road. Private parking. Big rooms ours over looked the lake had a patio.

Bit disappointed to see that the guaranteed lake views from the balcony had been slightly obstructed by the overhanging roofing of level 2. I rang to make sure that the lake views from balcony was uninterrupted (for our wedding anniversary) as advertised and paid so much extra for. I was put on level 3 which promised this! At no point in advertising does it suggest that the lake views would be slightly obstructed and pricing should reflect that. To those travelers potentially wanting to book this unobstructed lake view I suggest booking level 2 than level and for me personally I would book level two lake views next time. Overall a very good hotel but perhaps I should have been told of the obstructions from level 3 which I specifically requested for and obviously paid a whole lot more for. Excellent facilities and staff though. Alcohol prices in sports bar bit expensive compared to other sports bars I have been to.

Really enjoyed our Easter weekend stay, superior lake view from our room was amazing. Food and service was great.

Awesome staff. Clean big rooms and a great gym, swimming pool and sauna. Great value as well, if you shop around. My only critique is the breakfast was a bit pretentious and confusing. If you get breakfast included you get a 'B' menu, which was rather disappointing considering the rest of the experience.

Extremely Poor Service, ordered Drink and Calamari, Didnt get the drink had to go back in to get it, then I got the Calamari but no cutlery I had to even ask the wait staff to bring me some, she looked confused. Outside tables were dirty. Couldn't find any clean ones. Staff not very friendly, there were lots of them looking busy though but clearly not accomplishing much. Shame The Mercure in Caroline Springs is the poor cousin of the whole chain. Lift up your GAME!

Hotel suite is lovely had a washer and dryer oven and microwave, everything you could need. There is a bistro and a cafe with alfresco dining. Staff are fantastic in every area of this hotel and only too willing to accommodate. Manager is warm and welcoming and very helpful. The hotel is situated a short distance from a mall shops and other restaurants. The whole building is situated by a picturesque lake. There is even a slot machine room to have a little bit of fun. Thoroughly recommend this hotel. We love it and can't wait to come back.

Stayed here on New Year’s Eve after a long drive. Everything we expected. Family room was massive with a seperate room for kids. Massive balcony and fully stocked kitchen. Parking was easy. Great view of Melbourne fireworks. Highlight was the bistro dinner. Excellent food and great kids area. We got the Accor discount. Breakfast was good but not a buffet and the kids were extra. Overall a good stay.

Absolutely gorgeous interior here, feels world's apart from the outside Caroline Springs. Oddly placed behind a casual supermarket complex but with it so grand and facing the water it's forgettable. Parking on site available or across the road. Function rooms seem just the right size for a small — medium business need.

Nice place to stay, closer to Carolina spring shopping mall. Friendly staff. Food is little bit pricey.

The rooms, the facilities and the staff were all first rate. We felt welcome, that we mattered and the staff actually cared and couldn't do enough. We had a lake view and loved it. Breakfast in the Cafe was delicious and affordable. If you want to stay at a hotel with a great vibe, but layback at the same time, stay at the Mecure, Caroline Springs.

Spacious, clean, free onsite parking. Older rooms are on level 3, some with balcony. Level 2 rooms are new (available in late 2017). Lakeviews rooms are fabulous. Watching sunrise from the balcony, or from the living area. Then back to bed for a nap, or jog around the lake before breakfast, or have a dip in the heated pool. Relaxed atmosphere. Life's easy, life's good.

Nice big room. Very neat and tidy. Had nice water front view. We had our set breakfast menu for 4 days but fruit was not included. Not sure who's selection. Had to ordered fruit platter separately. Conference room is good and Wi-Fi connection was also stady. Staff was very friendly. Location is nice and plenty of restaurant around.

Love this place. Beautiful clean bright rooms. Awesome food in bistro and on the balcony overlooking the lake especially for breakfast.

Service was top level. Stayed whilst working on the lake. Received a Room Upgrade & Secure Parking Location for our Work Ute & Tools. Cannot thank Steve & the Reception Girls enough for their Service & the Room Service Menu is well suited … We'll be back!

Well appointed. Very nice, clean and new. Good view over lake.

Hotel is only general, room only two floors, underground is the restaurant and reception, the first floor is the car yard, two or three floor is the hotel room, this time we add money, Upgrade to our third floor high-rise lake view, think a lot, but the third floor is covered by the roof of the second floor large, greatly disappointed.

Food OK but barely warm when we finally got it nearly two hours after ordering and watching others get their's when they ordered after our table, somewhat spoilt my 50th birthday dinner just kept telling us that it was really busy and they were getting lots of orders, but they were after us just ridiculous and with a diabetic in our party when pushed were able to get his to us almost straight away, terrible service and confused staff who were trying their best but obviously not experienced enough. Such a shame as its a lovely venue.

Food was lovely but in the service there arose a conflict with staff over being able to have two different types of specials at our table of six. Honestly it cheapened our whole experience quibbling over this. Also staff did not explain the options adequately they just told us what we couldn't do/have/ choose. It didn't make sense but staff remained rigid and it cheapened our opinion of the Mecure as a four star facility.

I stayed in the hotel as it was close to a workshop that I was hosting. I was really impressed by the overall facilities, spacious rooms and just really friendly and attentive staff. Absolutely nothing was an issue and it was a pleasurable stay. Looking forward to coming back!

Always a pleasure to stay here. I stay here for work as it's near my office. The food is always great (I recommend the waffles with apple) and the staff are helpful. Even gave me an upgrade to a Lake View room! When looking somewhere to stay in the west I recommend this place.

Clean, new, Fantastic venue, although the *holding deposit of $300 they keep for 5 days incase you trash the room (when you have no intention of doing that) is a bit excessive. I would rate this five out of five if they changed that policy.

I've found WestWaters (Mercure Melbourne Caroline Springs) to be a comfortable spot to meet with friends or family. It's spacious, I enjoy the flavour of the coffee and the food is tasty. The staff are friendly too. I'm here often.

Nice spacious room, big bathroom. Terrible pillows. Check out was at 10 AM. Too early if you're looking to sleep in or relax a bit.

I love this hotel. I have never slept there so I can't comment on their rooms or room service. But I am proud of this big modern hotel with plenty of car parking overlooking the beautiful Caroline Springs Lake with all its bird life. The staff are friendly and courteous and it's a great meeting place for the locals. The food prices are inexpensive and they cater for snacks to full bistro menus.
