Very chic modern looking studio.
I booked Studio 1 last minute for a spontaneous trip.
Mel promptly responded to messages via Booking. Com where I booked. Incredibly affordable rates, even before my booking. Com discounts.
Mel kindly graced me with an earlier check in which was fantastic due to long travel. You receive a text explaining your self check in process.
The location of Marengo Beach Studios was also perfect for me as it was directly 350 metres from the Marengo Beach where I enjoy swimming!
The mini studio had everything you needed. Including a small airfryer since there was no cook top and there was a bbq. — Which I used. Basic cooking utensils, oil/salt/pepper, paper towel etc.
Located in the bathroom was a broom and brush/pan which was super handy after visiting the beach.
There was Wi-Fi however I didnt use it, so I cannot comment on this.
The smart TV was mounted and on a swivel arm bracket so this could be moved to face the couch or the bed depending where you were watching from. I would say it was mounted a fraction high for someone who is 5ft2 but it wasn't a massive deal breaker.
Some kind feedback and constructive criticism from someone who travels frequently:
I found just a few things missing that would have been a nice addition. Here are a few suggestions to maybe add to the studio.

A small bin in the bathroom for feminine sanitary products.

We had a great stay at Mel and Dave’s studio. The space was beautifully set up, and it’s clear they’ve put a lot of thought into making guests feel at home. The little details like the air fryer, coffee machine, dog bowl and towel, Kong ball, BBQ, and luxurious Sheridan towels, really made a difference. We also loved the Australian botanical products, they were a nice touch.
Mel and Dave were wonderful hosts, responsive and helpful. When we mentioned some ants trying to steal Tim’s biscuits, they were quick to offer a solution, and we found ant rid conveniently placed by the gate.
Overall, a great stay in a lovely space, highly recommend.

"Absolutely perfect stay! "
We had the most amazing time at Marengo Beach Studios! The location is unbeatable – just a short walk to the beach, and the views are absolutely stunning. The studio was incredibly clean, well-equipped, and beautifully designed, with all the little touches that made it feel like home. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway by the coast. Can’t wait to return!
