This classic Aussie country Pub has left the best impressions! Hospitable hosts, delicious meals, beautiful presentation, wide range of local beers and local wine list with wonderful desserts. The service we received was so amazing and we will definitely be back again. They made us feel welcomed and gave us an amazing experience.

Accomodation was good but all staff were horribly rude. Made us all feel very un welcome even swore at us because we checked out late even though we were not told a checkout time, never coming back here and I would not recommend staying here.

Accommodation excellent nice and cheap grouse bar menu's. Great friendly staff just an all-round really great pub. 👍

Awesome service and awesome bar staff and management would come back again and will recommend to friends and family.

Brilliant custmer service beautiful food and a great all round experience Lucas has done well with and up beat feel could not recommend the cally to visit any higher definitely my favourite place to eat at.

What a venue. The May Races was crazy and for Tues and Wed night Lucas and his staff could not have looked after our crowd more. My 50th Birthday on Wed night was such a highlight and I cannot thank you enough for your attention to everything. Well done and cheers 🍾👍😍💃🐎

Great meal and the most helpful staff that I have come across for ages.

Had our first meal from you guys and we all enjoyed it! Fantastic fish and chips, amazing salad and fantastic roast and gravy. We loved it and will definitely be back. Loved the service from the mum delivering!

Enjoyed takeaway burgers from the Cally tonight. Really good quality and generous size. Great value for money. Would highly recommend trying and supporting a local business. We will be ordering from there again.

The Cally was perfect for our large study tour group of 41 students. Hosting us in the beautifully appointed under-cover beer garden and private bar area. The food was fantastic and we received our meals in an amazing turn-around time for such a large group. Excellent service from all staff who assisted us. Thankyou! Absolutely disappointed by a place that I used to drop my weekly paycheck at, quickly hushed away from the bistro and despite being courteous was shown constant disrespect. Hoping the food was better, my gf and I happily sat at a bar table but was completely disgusted by my less than BLUE scotch fillet (meant to be medium rare) and what seemed to be her reheated Parma. Do NOT recommend and would NEVER go here again.

This is a top place to stay. Lucas and his staff have been exceptional. Great food and an atmosphere to match.

Lucas and his team are the most helpful and courteous people we have met on our trip to the point of locking our bikes up in the beer garden overnight. Highly recommend the Cally hotel.

Thought it said the deli on the sign. Couldn't work out why they didn't have ham… beer and music good though so we stayed. 5 stars.

This place is the best lovely atmosphere decent prices and yummy food.

Beer battered fish is sensational and bigggggg. Just wish menu offered more. It's a bit limited imo. Else I would have given 5 stars.

We booked a double room for 2 nights. Room itself was clean basic and the bed was really comfy. Showers and toilets where all clean and smelled fresh. Didn't have food at the bar however did have drinks. All staff where polite and helpful.

Good food and service at average price. Went for 4th July American themed night and had huge selection of food on top of regular menu.

Heaps of street noisy, could here noise from bar, would not recomend.

Room and staff were good. Great for traveling overnight stays. Air-conditioning was good. A small sink in the corner. Bed was comfortable and warm. Men's bathroom a bit to be desired. No benches to put clean clothes, only hooks.

Can not recommend the Cally enough. Even when my husbands meal was forgotten you definitely made up for it. Thanks for the wonderful venue for our sons 21st. We will be back again.

A range of craft beer's on tap friendly staff and most of the food is done in the kitchen which is great.

Renovations are new, place is big, dinning size is a little small but the outdoor beer gardens a nice touch with a huge tv.

Room was advertised as a 3 bed, but there was only two, but for the price it wasnt bad. Friendly staff and good specials in the pub downstairs. Also close to a few cafes down the road.

Great service from very friendly staff and I'd say fantastic meals at a reasonable price. Easy to find usually plenty of parking and always a nice cold beer.

Ordered the traditional parma on Saturday for a birthday dinner, and it was extremely disappointing, The chicken was soggy and had a really terrible taste, I hate two bites and left the rest, the chips and salad was nice but a major let down for a place that used to have the best parma in town. The ambiance was lovely and some of the staff were really nice, others not so much. Was going to ask for a refund but didnt want to be a hassle.

My first time visiting since the renovations. Amazing work they have done. Great atmosphere.

Stayed here for one night, and that was enough. The room was booked and paid in advance online. There was still the need for an additional $50 key deposit, which was explained on booking. The room we were given first was unmade from the previous people staying in it. Unmade sheets, hairs visable, used towels, ripped carpet & underlay visable. No mirror, poor lighting. No heating except for the extra blankets we requested on booking (mid winter). After mentioning this to the staff, we are shown to another room, across the hall. This time the bed was newly made, New towels and the room was in better condition. Good lighting, a mirror, and non ripped blankets. Still no heating or control for the split system in the room. The showers weren't in the best of shape, but I've had worse. Drains not draining properly so water was all over the floor with very slippery tiles (not non-slip flooring in a newly renovated bathroom), vents needing cleaning, broken hooks and locks. Great hot water though. Not somewhere is stay again, I've had caravan units cheaper and a better experience.

Staying in a single room so I don't have to share, the room is pretty big but very bare. Room is clean but shelves are dusty. Bathrooms are newly renovated and clean but down the hall from my room. Bathrooms are protected by passcode. No kitchen facilities. Small sink in bedroom. No elevator up to rooms, only stairs. Bar/restaurant downstairs which is usually pretty busy but rooms are still pretty quiet. Overall, good value for money but not ideal for long stays when you might want kitchen facilities or even just a mini fridge to store food overnight.

Has just been renovated. The bistro has an amazing feel to it. The meals are amazing. Prices are reasonable, depending on what you order. Would recommend The Cally for a meal. There is a private function room for anyone requiring a venue for a special occasion.

Food is great and staff is really friendly, I highly recommend eating here or having a drink. However room was really cold with no heating option, as well as lobby. They need to improve this or warn you when booking.

It is soooo hard to find a delicious vegan meal in Warrnambool. Especially at a pub — it's almost impossible to be served anything else except hot chips and plain salad. BUT the vegan burger at the Cally is the most amazing thing I have ever tasted! I'm not kidding at all, if I could only eat one meal for the rest of my life it'll be this vegan burger. It's perfect! I can't thank you enough for providing a delicious meal that us vegans can enjoy. I had one on Monday night and I'm craving it again already.

Need to remove the shelf in the room with the pool table so players can access the table without hitting the wall. If you put a hinge on the shelf it can be folded up/down when the table is in use and still be useful as a shelf other times.

The restaraunt was very nice, classy and neat. One of the waitresses was very rude and short with me although I was very polite. The other waitress was lovely though, give her 5 stars. I asked for medium rare steak and was given incredibly rare steak. Will not be ordering steak from there again.

The Cally was a great place for dinner. Had fun with my friends.

Aussie style hotel from yesteryear. Room was small and not a lot of room for luggage. Bathrooms newly renovated. All-in-all a good stay.

Central to Warrnambool's CBD, looks to be original historic style, great service, definitely worth staying at, has the standard pub noise and no heating, hot water took a while :) but beds were very comfortable, the furniture in the room was great (Bean chairs! ) Couldn't go past their value either.

This is a good family pub. My wife and I take our 2 boys there for a meal and the boys are well looked after Damien, pommie and the girls.
