Would have given BIG ZERO TO THIS PLACE IF POSSIBEL! Arrived today to a room that was freshly made up as per the owner, I checked the bedding it was full of short black hair and towels dirty laid out on bed, called twice the owner and she said she made up the bed hairself and that hairs might have come from the blanket! Really! Short black hair (Asian I assume) ; I said ok fine and she pretty much kicked myself and my husband of the premises for asking if beds had been freshly made up even after removing at least 10 hairs and saying fine we will stay she kicked us out! RUDE THIS PLACE SHOULD BE CLOASED DOWN FOR SUCH CUSTOMER TREATMENT! This person ruins my long weekend after driving 4h’s from Melbourne. I have never been treated like this in my life. I feel sorry for the animals if this person treats humans like this. The owner just replied that I was rude to her, suspicious by looking at a bed in a room that I payed for, I had told her streight up that I had removed at least 10 hairs from pillows and bed (mind you this is not first review of the same complaint) and I politely called her twice via phone and said politely hello, we just arrived and found hair on pillows. I was tied from a long trip and wanted to lie down hence looked at the bed. The towels were far from new and white they were stained and washed out I would never use a towel in that condition. I have travelled far and wide have never come accross a place like this or customer service like this.
A fantastic and unique opportunity to get right up close with some amazing wildlife. The wombats and koalas are very magnificent and are delightful. The room was a bit cosy but was comfortable enough, the beds were soft and the stay was great. Staff were also incredibly friendly and very lovely. Overall an amazing experience, couldn't think of a place to stay than a beautiful animal sanctuary. Would recommend, especially if you want to see some of Australia's best wildlife right up close.
