The Mountainview motel is situated 5 minutes drive from the centre of Halls Gap. It is in a real bush setting with access to a swimming pool & BBQ facilities.

I had a fantastic stay! The room was spotless, the staff were incredibly friendly. The pool area and the bbq services were awesome. We really had a great time there.

Old motel but they are renovating and we had clean sheets on a comfortable bed, and the bathroom had new fixtures and fittings.

We loved our stay at the Grasstree Treehouse. It’s a great place to disconnect and relax. We loved cozying up by the wood fire!

Very beautiful quiet location. The host is very helpful in advising on walks and local businesses. The Wild Cherry tree house is very spacious and has nice views. Would love to stay there again.

Very well priced, great staff very comfy bed and pillows, excellent shower, only negative point is the fridge in the room was off and not cold on arrival to slip a couple of beers in overall a good

I stay in Nhil regularly. There are a number of options for motels here and I've tried them all. This place is my first choice. Rooms are always clean and the owners are always friendly.

This motel was good enough for an over night stay, staff are accommodating, friendly, you pay for what you get, rooms are clean, bed is clean, I will say you can hear the trucks go by in the evening,

New owners and big comfortable room. I was travelling for work as a solo female so wanted somewhere safe and comfortable. This was great for that. Easy to find and access, check in and out was easy.

The room was huge by motel standards! Really clean with large windows and door out onto the lawn. Sofa and table to eat at a well as the very comfy bed and huge bathroom, walk in shower.

We decided on a day trip to Hamilton from Port Fairy. On arrival, we chose to have a quick lunch before embarking on our sightseeing, choosing the Cally Pub. It turned out to be the ideal choice.

I've had dinner here a few times now, both times were fantastic. The first time it was steak night Wednesday I believe great value and super tasty.

Room looked a little tired but provided all necessities. Bed was comfortable. Rain head shower was a nice touch. Streaming services were just acceptable due to internet speeds.

A great location in walking distance to most places of the town. The room was spacious and while the bathroom was old the showers were hot and the bathroom very useable. A great stay for us.

I stayed for a month at this caravan park on a powered site. It was a lovely place to stay and I always felt safe in the park.

A great park located on top of a hill overlooking the town. We have enjoyed a caravan stay here previously, hence our return again.

Amazing location if you love rest and nature. In the evening there are dozens of kangeroos eating on the domain, while you are on the terrace, in your bed or in the bad.

We stayed for 3 nights over here and we wished we could have stayed longer.

Our home away from home for 5 nights. There was plenty of room the unpack and set ourselves up for our stay. We stayed in the Blue Wren split level unit.

It definitely has the Wow factor, the most amazing weekend stay my partner and l have had for a long time. It was magical, the wildlife was awesome, the lodge was absolutely spotless. Total bliss!

Nice experience, we stopped over on the way to Adelaide and it was great. The rooms had a very nice cabin feel to them and we had a great stay. Very clean and the owner was a very friendly man.

The motel is in the central town, has full of history at each corner.

Absolutely beautiful spot. The lake is amazing for SUPing, swimming etc. Pool was a little dirty but somewhat expected due to outdoor and near gumtrees but would be nice if it was cleaner.

Lake Fyans Holiday park is the perfect family escape. So much to do and well thought out park.

Good comfortable bed.
Showers great pressure and hot.
Pool was great after a long days drive.

My husband and I decided to stop over in Kaniva on way home to Adelaide and so pleased we did. Christina is a wonderful and warm host who provides a warm and comfortable motel where we slept well.

Would definitely book again. Good location, pleasant staff breakfast to your room, no extra charge. Best to let them know eta as staff no always on site in afternoon.

Rooms are up to date and well-equipped, service is top notch, and the food in the restaurant is absolutely phenomenal! 10/10

Our family absolutely loved our stay at the A-Frame in Halls Gap! Tim was so great at accommodating us at the last minute and greeted us with a chat and a laugh and a bottle of wine.

Location, good communiation and easy access.
Shower pressure very low, no fresh toilet paper it was already used rolls almost empty.

Perfect location for an event at the Halls Gap pub! Bit far if staying in town but there are walking tracks the whole way. Beautiful room with everything we needed.

It was a hidden gem. Spotlessly clean and had everything we need. A home away from home. Will be coming back again.

Price was cheap and room was comfortable and clean. Bathroom was spacious. It was very quiet except for a train that came through at night but that was kind of fun not annoying.

I had stay only one night. A reception staff was friendly. It's nice and clean room and outside room have a big shade, reasonable price.
There's a small room but very clean a large shower room🎉🎉

This place is a winner!

It's pretty good and maintained and clean common areas. Decent Room size but carpets are fairly old and dirty.

We stayed in the family room last night, and would return. Man at reception was welcoming.

We booked the family room, very comparative price for five of us! I had a Very good sleep but left my pillow. I picked up 7 days later on my way back and it was kept at the front desk as new!
