We can highly recommend Eaglehawk Hotel — it provides charming Victorian period accommodation with vintage furniture & fittings. Our room was small but it was quiet, clean, comfortable and enhanced by the vine covered verandahs and a gorgeous courtyard where we enjoyed afternoon tea in the autumn sunshine. Our hosts were polite and attentive — and ensured we had everything we needed ☺️ We had such a wonderful stay in Maldon, we will definitely be back!

This is a really lovely little spot, so much nicer than a standard "motel". Thoughtfully renovated rooms with old world charm and antique bedsteads with comfy mattresses. The real highlight though is the "Secret Garden" all the rooms look onto (with a Saltwater pool hiding within). I can't wait to come back again with my family😊

Lovely place to stay, close to everything. Clean rooms, staff friendly and go out of their way to make your stay perfect. Gardens are great to relax in at the end of the day. Would definately stay here again.

The rooms are so beautiful. Everything you need is provided, kettle, toaster, microwave. Bathroom has a nice big bath. The gardens are so lovely. Such a peaceful vibe. Short little walk to the main street.

What an exquisite little motel. We were absolutely thrilled when we arrived to see that it was exactly like the photos on the website.
True old fashioned charm is the term we used to describe it.
A real hidden gem that was perfect for a catch up with friends.

A very pretty outlook into the gardens from every room. Each room is spacious, well equiped and with decor that's in keeping with the feel of Maldon. Very comfortable bed, good price. Thank you Deborah and Chris for accommodating my extended stay!

Nice and quiet. Beautiful gardens to stroll around, lucky enough to be a warm day when I stayed so the pool was refreshing Cosy with sweet decor… comfy

Friendly staff clean and tidy room. And beautiful gardens. Met our needs for what we wanted.

Extremely comfortable bed. Cozy, sweet room with good en-suite bathroom facilities. Beautiful garden and super location for the wedding we attended last weekend. A lovely clean room with everything that you will need for your stay. It's close enough to town and the historic railway station. Deborah was a lovely host.

This motel was very clean and comfy. In style that suits the town. The staff so very friendly and helpful. Lovely garden setting that room opened onto. In a quiet area and not far at all from The Maldon Train Station, where steam trains operate to Castlemaine. We would stay here again.

Very friendly hosts and service. The rooms are very clean and the beds are amazingly comfortable — I always have the best sleep when I stay here.

Great comfy bed and pillows… such a relief not to wake up with a sore back… and good to have a little sample of some local history to read at night… so good I had to buy a copy to read at home. Thank you.

Forget your modern state of the art sterile rooms, this is a fabulous place to stay. Will definitely be back.

The most comfortable motel I have stayed in very charming, could not fault the rooms pool area needs a little attention but was very happy to stay our 4 nights.

Perfect little spot for our girls night away! Visited from the big city & we enjoyed the change of scenery to unwind for the night! Flawless hospitality, the owners go above & beyond to ensure you enjoy your stay & leave with a smile on your face! The breakfast recommendation went down a treat.

Place is clean and tidy. Decor is twee and 30 years out of step. Sadly no Wi Fi. Price was right.

Comfortable and in a quiet location. Friendly welcome. Probably one of the smallest motel rooms we have ever stayed in, but there's a nice outdoor seating space in the garden.

A very enjoyable stay, the motel is old style, yet in fantastic condition, which we loved. But what made our visit more enjoyable was the hospitable nature and really friend approach from the owners Chris and Deborah. They make this motel. Loved it, will be back for sure and highly recommend it for all who come to the area.

Have stayed here 4 times now and it just keeps getting better. Great rooms great service, great price and wonderful hosts. Can't fault it.
